The lines hooked me in, the lemonade was sweet, but the fried chicken sandwich was just not delicious. The Cheeseburger is the highlight. The bread is soft and the meat is nice. The Fried Chicken Sandwich.... Ya pass. It was salty and overpowering. Just not my cup of tea. For prices, it's definitely affordable.

Made a quick stop to the Win-Dow during a jaunt to The Grove. Ordering was easy, simply show up at the outside window and choose from yummy sandwiches and other fast food classics. I ordered the grain bowl, which was moderately sized and packed with flavor. Gooey, deep orange yolks, roasted umami broccoli, and pickled artichokes gave the dish a nice variety of flavors. A small vinaigrette was included for that extra zing. Food was ready in 10-15 minutes. I was still hungry after, but the dish was a good value for what was included.

I've been coming here for awhile now and it's still one of my favorite spots for a quick and affordable smash burger while shopping at The Grove. The burgers are consistently great every single time and packed with a ton of flavor. I especially love the crispy edges on the patties paired with the caramelized onions. The line can definitely get long on weekends, but placing an order online is the move if you're in a rush. Simple menu and great prices. Hard to ask for much more than that.

Easy pick up order from online. Pick up window is just to the left of the order window but inside. Burger itself was juicy and well seasoned. Not too salty, and not bland. Just right. Fries were a little soft, not crispy but the chewiness and taste were there; I'm sure they'd be much better fresh. Their sauce is the closest to in n out. And I like that they use a brioche bun and have thick pickles! Overall 9/10 for burger experience.

I got a solid smash burger, hot and crispy fries, and deliciously sour lemonade. Everything was good. The smash burgers are smaller than regular burgers so I'd recommend getting double patties or ordering a side. The brussels sprouts looked really good.! The only downside is that seating is limited so if you come during busy hours, you might not be able to sit.

3.5/5! nothing out of the ordinary imo, like a glorified mcdonalds cheeseburger hahaha but it is really yommy and nicely made

Good place to get well priced food, especially in that area. Coming at lunch time will be a bit of a wait but they're working quickly to make your order. If you go on a nice day and can grab a seat, it's nice casual vibes that make you realize, "Yup, I'm in LA."

We stopped by on the way home and I have always wanted to try this place. The seating is ok, but the food is delicious! We got the cheeseburgers, Brussels and fries and other than the burgers being a bit small, everything tasted delicious. We event got a s'more shake to share. The service was nice, the people are friendly and work hard to get your order out quickly. The ambiance is ok, there is only a small area to sit in. It's definitely a place for the younger crowd but I am happy that we tried it and the food was so good. Definitely glad I got the crispy Brussel sprouts.

    FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH & FRIES

I was at the grove and wanted a fried chicken sandwich. Came across Win-Dow. It was ok and not what I was expecting. The slaw lacked pickling flavor to balance the fried chicken. The chicken could use a little more seasoning that wasn't salt. It was quite salty. Fries were very good. They also have burgers. I've heard from people that their burgers are good. I'll have to try another time.

I'm obsessed with the kale salad here but it can be inconsistent at times. Today was a good day though! The kale was fresh, there was the right amount of dressing, and the croutons were crispy. We also got the burgers without cheese and fries, but the kale salad is really the star! The one ding I have against this place is that they don't validate parking.

ARNOLD PALMER 7/10: This was a fairly standard Arnold Palmer and in comparison to the Arnold from other restaurants, it's not my favorite. I would definitely say though that this is perfect for a hot day and for people who like a lighter tea flavor in their Arnold palmers. It has an ever so slight sweetness. BRUSSELS 9.5/10: I got the Brussels sprouts here and it was $5 and they were sooo good! They were roasted, slightly salted, and were good with the avocado? Ranch. The inside of the Brussels sprouts were also soft and had a lovely bite to them. My only note is that I wish they roasted them just a tab bit less because after having a few it left a subtle bitter flavor but if anything, that just might be my taste buds. * While me and my mom were eating them in the farmers market, we were asked by 2 different people where we got them because they looked that good! Definitely try these out at least once

We decided to come back and had a much better experience with the cashier whose name was Eric. He was super nice and helpful with the menu. I got the fried chicken sandwhich which was very solid. My fiancée got a double cheeseburger which she gives a 8/10 (very good on her scale). The fries are solid, nothing special. This review is mainly because of the last experience we had and was much improved this time due to Eric!

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. Would like to try the chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts next time we stop by!

The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. The DH is probably one of the best chonky burgers I've had in a long time. It reminded me of an elevated fancy Big Mac in the best way possible, probably because of the sesame bun. I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.

Waited another 10min, while I saw other people picking up orders, so I checked in again. Same response, not ready yet. Another 10min passed by, now I'm seeeing people who came after me get their orders before me. Asked the staff again for my order status. The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
