Get the duck! My wife and I came in for her birthday and got the 4-course meal. Pick a cheese fondue, pick a salad, pick an entree fondue and select your entrees, pick a chocolate fondue. Everything was fantastic, but we both decided that the duck was absolutely the best thing. If you come, try the duck. All the foods were great, though. We disliked nothing. Service was great.our server was attentive but unobtrusive. General Manager checked on us once and another server saw an empty beer, asked about it, and informed my server. Ambience? Quiet, subdued, darkish. Easy to forget others are eating there, too. Feels very private. High-backed booths hide others from view. Pricey. I have been coming to this restaurant for 25+ years. Today i went to celebrate Valentine's Day with my great niece. My servers name was Ashley Marie. She told me this at least 5 times. The service was horrible. It should have been abundantly clear to management that serving was not a job for her. It took 30 minutes before we got anything on the table. Luckily one of the other servers that we were familiar with came and bailed us out. Kam, you went above and beyond what was expected of you and we greatly appreciate the service you provided. You turned an absolute horrible experience into a fabulous experience and I appreciate you and your efforts. The food was good but the service today by "Ashley-Marie" was absolutely horrible. Disclaimer: I officially do NOT like going places where I have to cook my food. That does not mean this place is bad and it's just not my thing to do. I went with a friend and had a good time but by this being my first time I was truly confused lol there's a lot to digest and our waitress unfortunately did not give me a welcoming experience. My friend had been before but she really couldn't give me the ins and outs because it had been a while but she was really there for the chocolate I didn't like the ambiance in the restaurant and come to find out they are about to go through a much needed renovation as the establishment is very dated. Where we sat was so dark, we had to use our flashlights on our phones throughout the meal. So will return after the renovation They have tiers to pick from which include a cheese fondue to start for you to dip bread and fruit into. It was the Wisconsin Cheddar, good but I would try a different one. Next we had to pick our salads and meats.. I picked a Caesar salad and I did a create your own with Cajun shrimp, Cajun Chicken and Teriyaki glazed Steak and we got the Mojo broth. This was SOOOO good! I got so full. Opted for something different for our friend holiday dinner. We had all been to the chain 15+ years ago and we all left feeling like another 15yr hiatus would be ok. The good: cheese and chocolate fondue. Wonderful dipping options and both fondue's were delicious. None of us were impressed by our entrees. Our server was less than helpful and the cooking times listed in the menu were completely inaccurate. I had chicken in the broth for 25min and it was still not cooked through. My boyfriend took me on a date here, and we came around 4:30 due to plans. It was mostly empty, so we were able to sit down and order immediately. We did the complete experience which is $110 for 2, and ordered the classic alpine, land and sea and the garden pot, and the flaming turtle. We spent around an hour, but would've liked more time if it weren't for us being on a time crunch. Our server was helpful with our selections and recommendations, as well as just providing the whole experience. My husband made a reservation here for 7 PM for my birthday dinner. Just the two of us, was supposed to be a romantic dinner! Turned into us leaving mid meal because it was so bad. You walk into an extremely dim and very outdated restaurant, that is empty with NO music on, DEAD silence. Which should've been my first sign the evening wasn't going to be great. Two tables sitting, and then we would've been the third at the time. Never been here before, so was very much looking forward to it. We attempted to do the 4 course. We tried the spinach and artichoke fondue first. The dipping options were, whole mushrooms, whole large cherry tomatoes, apple pieces, carrots and cauliflower, and a FEW pieces of stale, flavorless bread. Now, I wasn't expecting lobster and steak off the batt, buttttttttt I also wasn't expecting whole cherry tomatoes to dip into cheese fondue. With a bag of Tostitos from Sysco they open, and pour into a bowl. Not my cup of tea. Never once did the server mention she could swap them for something else, or order more of one item. Then moving forward, we did caesar salads, which seemed like the safest choice at the time. Should've been normal, right? Wrong. The menu says parmesan dusted pine nuts. They were in fact sweet, and candied. So then ask about a different salad. Server states they have honey mustard and ranch as salad dressings. Which is strange, because the menu for sure says honey walnut vinaigrette. Continuing on, we chose the oil option as a cooking method. Server didn't even attempt to lead us in a different direction. Just took our order and said okay she'd be back. Well, she comes back with the oil, we start cooking, all of our meat is coming out burnt. The entire places starts filling with smoke, no exhaust fan to be found anywhere. I turned the cooktop down 3 times and it still was so hot it was immediately burning the food instead of cooking it. Chicken would be raw in the middle, even after following the "timer" they offer. Which is just a QR code you have to scan on your phone to a website with buttons on it, correlating with the meat you picked. It was very strange. Side selection was terrible. You don't get to pick them, they just bring sides. Who eats deep fried steak? Or deep fried broccoli? Or deep fried salmon? Like what in the world is this? Or your other options are a literal VAT of broth you BOIL your meat in. They don't make that very clear on the menu, when it comes to cooking styles. We ran out of batter for the oil, server didn't offer to give us more, we had to ask. So we just sit there forever waiting for her to stop by and check on us. And as someone in the restaurant industry myself, this is standard service, identifying what your guest may or may not need, during their stay with you. Not even half way through the meal it was so smoky, I wanted to do anything but be cooking my own dinner for my birthday. I thought we were just dipping items into fondue. Paid for my glass of wine, and left. Manager on duty couldn't have been maybe 25, when we told her what cooking style we got. She chucked and said "yeah I usually try to steer people away from that, it's terrible, I don't know why it's an option on the menu." And then when I told her the oil was just burning immediately she said "yeah I saw that, I was wondering what happened?" So you mean to tell me, you noticed as the MOD and didn't do anything? You waited until it was an issue? And you're voiding things off guest checks now??? Very unprofessional. She also informed me my server, was the only server there for the evening, as if that's my fault, they were understaffed? 0/10 stars would recommend. She could've been on the floor, actually managing and table touching as one does. Instead of sitting on her ass at the host stand and reading a book. The server could've used some help, as she ended up getting SWAMPED with tables. This is anything but fine dining, especially for the price. You guys, I am thinking of going back to The Melting Pot for dinner with my family- it has been years & I am ready to go!! The only issue is that all of the pics & reviews are YEARS old. Nothing really from 2-3 years ago & that worries me. This isn't cheap & I am not about to go spend this kinds of money & drive down that far for a MAYBE this is going to still be worth it. Disappointed to say the least. Not 1 update that I can find in a recent month or year. And, the menu on-line does not post prices, so that too is not a good sign. I'm just going to say, do not waste your money at this location. We were running late because there was an accident or incident that the police were redirecting traffic. We called the restaurant and let them know and the girl on the phone was super rude. We completely understand the grace period so I booked a reservation on my open table for 7:15 as a backup. We arrived at the restaurant and the waiting area was full of people but no one actually in the restaurant sitting area. The hostess never looked up and acknowledged us and when we told her who we were her response was "yeah I canceled that" after my boyfriend was explaining. I said I had a reservation, and still she never looked up an made eye contact. She just said I'll be with you and then proceeded to "act busy" to sit this other family. Another hostess, who I assume might have been the manager was snickering about some other reservation and never acknowledged us. I know we were late and that's on us but I did have another reservation and they weren't busy. It's all about service and making your patrons at least feel welcomed. We did not get a good vibe and we told them to cancel and we left. We walked I. To another restaurant near the Fox and although they were booked due to the event, we were greeted and acknowledged as soon as we walked in. We told them how bad the hostess was and how dead the restaurant was. They seriously should fire that hostess because being in the service industry means putting others first before yourself, no matter how bad your job or your night is. Don't take it out on us. We brought this matter to the attention of the manager, who promptly escorted us out of the restaurant in a discreet manner. Overpriced. Not at all worth what we were charged. Service average and would not go again.

While we had a decent evening, and attentive wait staff, I feel the value for the price has greatly declined over the years. We had a party of five, celebrating a birthday, and I was unimpressed with the amount of food we received for the cost per person. For $29 per person we ordered the cheese fondue, a salad, and the chocolate fondue. We left hungry. We elected not to order a large entrée because we used to fill up easily on the cheese and the salad. Not anymore, the serving sizes seem to be much smaller now. I would not recommend going unless you intend on ordering an entrée or unless you have eaten a snack before you arrive. We went here prior to seeing the universoul circus. Lemme start off by saying I love anything fondue and I love MP. The hubby had never been so we decided to try them out. We had the 4 course meal for $99 which was a very food value. You get an entree, salad, dessert, and 2 drinks each. If you forgo drinks, I believe the cost is $80. The drinks were very tasty, I had the sangria twice. Initially, I tried a cosmopolitan, but it was soo sugary for my taste. The fondue was AMAZING and the hubby seemed to agree. This is a very fun and romantic place....primarily because you cook your food! The service was fantastic from the hostess, to the manager, to the server. We had a great experience 5 years ago, but the last 2 times we've been for my birthday, the experience has become extremely uncomfortable. Now, 3 years ago the screaming child hanging over the wall was not the fault of management, but when you go the the melting pot to celebrate with just you & your SO there is a certain level of peace and customer service one might expect. Honestly, today's visit was the top 5 worst service experiences I've had anywhere. I hate to be the call the manager type, but after our servers shortness with us as we tried to understand what was and was not possible (with new specials) and a trainee, then the primary server came over to ask of we were ok finishing the cheese, knowing we need to order our entrée( I also said we were ready to order the entrée)....she just left saying she would be back but 'needed to check on her other tables'. If you were not there to finish the order or bring the tongs that were previously promised, why did you come over? I did not say that, but figured we were not worth her time at that point. When she returned, & after having more restrictions on an order modification that was needed to avoid an allergy, and met with resistance I told her I hate to be this person and requested a manager. The female manager came over in what looked like sweatpants and a t-shirt, with the server that already looked annoyed (no longer needing to check on tables I suppose) and the manager was not helpful. Seemed more interested in creating deep conflict between us as customers and the server rather than peacefully finding a solution that met everyone's needs. So versus having an uncomfortable birthday entrée and dessert I previously was really looking forward to, I decided to call it and requested our bill to leave. Happy friggin birthday to me. What the actual F... Cheese is great, sides need improvement. PLEASE Hire more servers and make it a two table max per server OR managers, help the servers. The server today did state with the manager present that she had 2 or 3 other tables and we 'were taking a long time.' I haven't been to the Melting Pot in many, many years so when it came to be my birthday I thought would be a great place to celebrate with my family to celebrate. And it was very please that I did. I wasn't sure this place would be children friendly but it was and we went early just in case it wasn't. We made a reservation and took our 7 and 9 year old children for their first fondue experience. Our waiter was extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything in detail on the menu. He also made suggestions on what the children can select and eat from the kids menu. My husband and I went for the four-course meal which included the cheese fondue, the base to cook the meat, a small salad, and of course, the chocolate fondue dessert. We thought this would be the best choice to get the full experience. Next time we come we can definitely tailor our own meal by only doing a three course or just doing cheese and dessert. You do have those options as well which is really nice. I have to repeat again that the staff here is excellent. They take their time to explain everything, they're very patient, very personable. Their classic alpine swiss cheese fondue is one of the tastiest concoctions I've ever tried, and pairs especially nicely with the bread cubes and vegetables that come with the fondue. When we first came in, we had to wait a bit to get in touch with the hostess but she was very kind and personable allowing us time for the rest of our party arrived so we could get seated . Our waitress for the night, Jasmine, was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the things we ordered and was able to answer any questions we had . She was a great and relatable conversationist as she made our different courses . The staff, however, seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd and things moved a bit slower than usual during our courses but Jasmine was extremely apologetic and did the best that she could to satisfy the needs of our party of 6 . FOOD We had the traditional 3-course with salads . Cheese fondue; we had the spinach & artichoke and the Wisconsin trio . Spinach & artichoke was definitely a fan favorite amongst us, we didn't prefer the taste of the sherry and the strong garlic taste. My ONLY complaint would be the variety of the dippers . We were offered bread, apples and veggies . The bread went nicely and we ended up also ordering tortilla chips which were GREAT . Salad; I got the house salad with the house dressing which is like an intense honey mustard . Very good ! Everyone at the table did have an issue with the lack of dressing though . My co-workers also raved over the toasted pine nuts that come on the Ceasar salad . Cooking styles; We got the Mojo & Coco Au Vin . Mojo was the fan favorite at our table, but really both broths weren't overpowering and the meats took the flavor of whatever sauce you dipped them in . They have expanded their choice of "dippers" for the cheese, entrees and chocolate courses. The food was great. On the downside, we had to exercise LOTS of patience this year. They were possibly tight staffed, so we waited quite a while on between each course, which had never happened in the past. So, our dinner ended up being about 3 1/2 hours long! My wife and I went tonight for the three course happy hour deal. This includes a cheese fondue, salad, and chocolate fondue. Our waitress was knowledgeable and offered helpful suggestions and the manager came to check on us right away. The service was the best part of the experience. We got the jalapeno bacon cheese fondue. This is the same cheeses as what's in the alpine classic, but substitute jalapeno and bacon for the nutmeg and lemon. The cheese was alright, but what comes with it is small. Literally two baby carrots cut in half, two pieces of cauliflower cut in half, three cherry tomatoes, some apple pieces, and a bunch of small bread pieces. Our salad came right after we started the cheese, which is ok, but started feeling hurried. The Caesar was average, except for the coated pine nuts, which was a nice touch. The California was better, but the portion size of both salads was very small. Our cocktails came (white peach Cosmo and the Mule) and both looked very good. The flavor was on point, however, the mule was warm. When I say warm, I mean a warm cup with no ice, and when we added ice from our water glass it melted immediately. They took the bread away as soon as the cheese was close to gone, but we kind of wished we would've kept it because we were still hungry. Finally the chocolate course was the closer. Dark chocolate marshmallow cream Oreo fondue was the best of the food, but once again the dippers were stingy. One small cube of brownie, one blondie, a marshmallow, a small piece of waffle, and two tiny cubes of pound cake and rice krispies. You have to split three small pineapple pieces, four thin slices of banana, and some strawberry pieces. We got the bill before we finished, which added to the whole meal feeling once again rushed. After the tip it was over $100, and if I'm honest, we both left feeling underwhelmed and hungry. I don't think we will try another melting pot, this experience was a disappointment. I came here with my fiancee for Valentines Day and I have to say that it was pretty bad. Our $300 bill included two $25 drinks that would've cost $10 at a regular restaurant, some watery cheese fondue, entrees that consisted of two bites of filet mignon, two sickly looking shrimp, two bites of overly-spiced fatty chicken, two emaciated lobster tails, a couple of small potato slices, three small broccoli florets that had seen better days and some Tiramisu fondue that took forever to heat up. Upon arriving at the restaurant we noticed that the sign looked rusty and like it needed a serious pressure washing, and the windows were all dirty and fogged up. Not a good start. The bar was filthy when we walked in as dirty glasses were piled up as fresh drinks were being prepared. The dining room didn't fare much better. Everything just looked old and like it wasn't well-maintained. This is surprising considering both the Atlanta and Alpharetta restaurants look great. Come on, Melting Pot Duluth. We had an extremely disappointing experience here. When we were seated we informed our waitress this was our very first time at a melting pot and would need some help ordering. She said ok, but very little was explained to us. We chose the Wisconsin cheese and 2 separate ala cart entrees. When ordering I asked if we get cheese and then dip our ala cart meats, veggies and bread in it, and she told me yes. When she brought the cheese and bread to our table I asked if that was all the cheese we would be getting and she said yes. I made the comment so we need to pace ourselves so we have cheese left over to dip our ala cart meats in. She laughed and said yes. We sat for quite a while eating our bread with very little cheese waiting on our meats. Finally she came back around and took our empty bread board and our cheese. By this point it was clear we were going to have to cook our own meat (which was not explained at ordering) so I assumed she would bring our cheese back in a seperate bowl. No, our cheese was thrown away. The various methods of cooking our meat was also not explained. I asked what our options were and she said she recommended like a broth. The other methods were not explained or pointed out to me. In fact, I didn't know i had an option of a cast iron skillet until just now when I read other yelp reviews. When we finally got our meat I went ahead and put all of mine into the broth and cooked them as instructed. Upon pulling out the first potsticker there was a long black hair on it. I flagged a different waitress down and she apologized and went to get me a new dumpling. I started pulling out my other items and more hair came out. At this point I had to ask for a whole new bowl and plate of meat. I should have just left, but we had been traveling all day and we're looking forward to this meal. They brought us a new bowl of broth and me a new plate of meat, but the meat was just horrible. The broth made it chewy and tasteless. My son was so grossed out by the hair incident he didn't even eat his 33.00 entree and the only thing edible from mine was the potstickers. They were out of it. Then we ordered the strawberry almond salad. We received our salads without almonds on them and were informed that they were out of almonds. We move on to dessert and order the extra sweets with our chocolate only to be told they are out of some of the sweets that come with it. They were out of something for 3/4 courses. I had an exceptional experience here. This is by far one of the best kept secrets at Gwinnett Place. It's tucked away in a plaza that I've overlooked for years. Lucky for me I was with someone that knew a thing or two about fondue. I love spicy stuff! I just do. We decided on the fiesta cheese to start. They added a bunch of jalapeños but the cheese fell short. When I make salsa or guacamole the jalapeños are burning the tip of my tongue! Not sure where they got these but I was less than impressed. The manager came over to check on us & could tell I was not feeling it. He immediately went to the kitchen for more supplies. Wow! Service with a smile. Upon his return, he had more jalapeños, tabasco sauce & YES MORE CHEESE! He whipped everything up right there & then. It still wasn't very hot but the Tabasco gave it more flavor. Now to the entree. I had seafood & they had all the meat stuff. They brought out a pot of hot broth. We then cooked our veggies & meats in the broth. I was a little nervous but my salmon & shrimp came out perfectly! They were juicy & not over cooked. And it only took a few minutes. We got there late so we too the dessert to go. My cousin, friend, and I came here for Gwinnett Restaurant Week, which by the way was hard to find anywhere to go without a reservation. Also the website was down for the menus which was highly inconvenient, but alas back to topic. So we decided to try our luck and walked into the Melting Pot even though they told us on the phone they are all booked until 830pm. The manager saw the host tell us they don't have any tables available at 6:00pm and was like "hold on one second!" and he was super nice enough to get us an empty table. By the way we saw a couple of different open tables. Our server's name was Christina and she was super nice, provided awesome recommendations, and gave us above-and-beyond service! With the Gwinnett Restaurant Week menu, we got cheese fondue, shrimp, steak, chicken, and vegetables with our broth, and chocolate fondue. We also got some drinks which were awesome! Christina recommended I get the White Peach cosmo and it delivered. My cousin's Deep South Tea and my friend's Tipsy Turtle were also awesome! If you want a pretty drink, get the Tipsy Turtle, if you want a fruity drink get the White Peach Cosmo, if you want a strong drink get the Deep South Tea. For our cheese fondue, we got the French onion gruyere. It was an upcharge of $2 for the whole pot that we all shared, but it tasted pretty great. Only thing is that you get full really fast. No one told me I had to pace myself :P. So now i'm telling everyone else to pace themselves. Don't come here super hungry and chow down on cheese fondue with bread and veggies. They also bring apples to dip into the cheese, but that tasted really weird to me. For our meat broth, we chose the "mojo" which also had an upcharge of $5 for the whole pot. In the end though, although we havent' tried the regular beef broth, it probably would have been just as great as the mojo without the upcharge. They provide lots of different sauces and a couple cheeses to try the meats with. You cook everything yourself. So the experience was fun. Christina told us how long to cook everything so we had it pretty pat down. However, when you first get your pot, chicken takes longer than two minutes to cook so I would wait like 5-7 minutes for the chicken to cook in the broth. The steak is awesome! The shrimp with the curry sauce is awesome too. I kind of felt like I was at a hot pot place. I guess the concept is similar. The chocolate fondue part was our favorite! We melted into the melting pot. We chose the Yin Yang which quickly mixes and doesn't stay pretty long. It comes with strawberries, blondies, brownies, pound cake, pineapple, banana, rice crispies, and marshmallows. This part was amazing. I would come back just for the experience of the chocolate fondue with a date. The atmosphere is romantic and upscale. We had some Malbec wine which was really good. All in all, the melting pot is awesome! However, we were biased because we had the Gwinnett Restaurant Week price instead of the regular price. I think if we had paid regular, it would not have felt worth it, but for the price that we got it was above and beyond an awesome experience. read more

Great service tonight from Gwen and the Manager Paul was ever present making sure we were taken care of. They asked if we were celebrating anything. I told them my sons grades. Gwen made a chocolate plate with marshmallow graduate on him that made my kid so happy. We love that we can GRILL meat now instead of boil it. So much better. Just out from a doctors appointment and felt like exploring so me and my sister found this place it was very good we love the Quattro Formaggio as our cheese fondue then we skipped the salad and went to the entrées which we picked the Pacific Rim I like the shrimp and the teriyaki marinated steak and chicken potstickers also got the Land and Sea which I like the garlic pepper steak and the herb crusted chicken breasts lastly was dessert we got the cookies and cream marshmallow dream chocolate fondue very rich but so good we got some pound cake, brownies, marshmallows covered with Oreo crumbs, a cookie, Belgian waffle, and Rice crispy treats also included fruits bananas, strawberries, and pineapples. We love the melting pot. We celebrate our anniversary every year at one. It is our tradition. This melting pot was a little slack in being the upscale restaurant that we have come to expect from other Melting Pots. The food however was delicious as always, our server (I think Taylor, could be wrong) was really great. We will be back just because we love the melting pot! read more

We had an amazing Easter experience at The Melting Pot this year. It was the first time our kids have ever had fondue and the MP experience. We booked through Open Table and always ask for not only a knowledgeable server, but one who enjoys guiding our family though the fondue experience. And T was that guy. He presented himself as genuine, eager to please and hard working. He ensured we had the best time possible and enjoyed our unconventional Easter meal. We - and all the staff - helped make our meal a memorable for the kids. The MP offered a special three course dinner which was a little different fare, but we went with it an loved everything our in front of us. T and the team would see the kids' favorites and they replenished effortlessly (like the bottomless mimosas for mom and dad). There was a special kids eat free, which applied to 3 of ours, making this a doubly special day. For this, we made a donation to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - a noble cause supported by the MP. Even without it, we'd gladly donate to those in the service of others - especially children. Thanks to the MP staff for working this holiday and being part of our special day. My only suggestion would be that the dining room is in need of a refresh as it is a bit dated and tired looking. I'm sure under dim lights of the evening service, it is less noticeable to patrons. read more

Had an excellent first time experience and absolutely have become melting pot fans. They were extremely good about gluten free and the food was great. The bartender Angela was super nice and the waiter Matthew took care of us. The manager came by a few times to check on us. Highly recommend!!! read more

What we're not about to do is pay 70$ a person for basically hot pot. The "course" menus are too much food for 2 people and not an overall special experience. Service takes way too long between "courses" and was nothing spectacular. The main entrees we're bizarre. At a normal hot pot place, each person gets their own pot. Here, you get one to share between 2 people... 90% of the time, food falls off the skewer and is lost in the broth-which is the same watered down flavor for the entire meal.. with all there is to offer in Duluth, this is 100000% a pass. Also, do not know why it takes 10 minutes + to get a table ready in an empty restaurant. Vibe in the restaurant is old and dingy. How it's remained in business is beyond me. read more

This spot has been on my list for YEARS...it's been in Duluth for longer than i can remember. I was finally was able to come here with a work/company party, glad to see they do have vegetarian options. At first glance at the menu i had no idea what to expect. The menu did not make it clear for me what i was going to experience, but once our waitress went over everything, i was delighted to find out it's pretty much a 4-course meal! ATMOSPHERE:: the decor is SUPER old fashioned.. very crowded looking... looks like they havent updated at all since they opened.. at least the chairs were comfy and everything worked.. DONT be afraid to have large parties, they were able to accommodate our party of 11 adults! Walking in, there was a huge line of people wiatiting to get sat, thank GOD we made a reservation. I feel like they reaally understaffed here. When you get to the tables they have a stove, per 4 people, for you to be able to heat up your fondue pots and such. be careful though, theres a ton of steam that comes out of those!! SERVICE:: Our server was great! She was able to handle our requests well however the only part i did not like was the fact that we were probably there for a total of 4 HOURS!! yep, 4 HOURS!!! They were understaffed and our drinks took forever, our food took FOREVER to come out, thank god we werent hungry (we were hungry) DRINK:: *White Peach Cosmo* is AMAZING!!!!!! our party probably ordered like 5 of these among 2 people LOL.. so freaking good, you would never expect that the drink is made with New Amsterdam Vodka!! *Long Island* Very strong, i really liked it.. and i got a lil tipsy too ;p *Yin & Yang* tasted like a dessert in a martini glass, SUPER beautiful! almost too beautiful to drink! FOOD:: **HOW TO ORDER**: 1) Decide what kind of protein you want. You can choose from the pre-selected entrees OR Pick your own. *I think if you choose to opt out of the 4-Course Option you may stop here. 2) Choose your salad 3) Choose your fondue (Table will have to agree on the flavor of the fondue) 4) Choose the cooking method (grill, or soups) (Table will have to agree on 1 style) Everyone has a color when you sit down, when you start cooking you stick the meat to the tong and you'll know which is yours by the designated COLOR!! 5) Choose your dessert fondue (Table will have to agree on flavor) For my experience.. *ENTREE*: Since it was my first time, I decided to go with *The Classic*, a mix of a bunch of meat (steak, chicken, and shrimp). It also came with all types of sauce. I really enjoyed the flavors, they had depth and boldness to meats and also very tender and seemed fresh. Also, the salmon was very delicious. Keep in mind the portions are tiny! about 3-4 bite sized pieces each. Some of the meats come already seasoned!! *SALAD*: I opted for the *California Salad* with the raspberry walnut vinaigrette, be careful because it does come with the goat cheese style topping which i left out, thanks for my server for telling me. i LOVED the candied pecans in the salad and the kale was supppper goooood!! I also saw that the house salad came with boil egg on top.. very interesting! you never see that! *FONDUE*: luckily since we had a large party we were able to sample a bunch of flavors, my favorite was probably the *SPINACH ARTICHOKE*!! sooo tasty and full of flavor and spinach. We also go to try the *Wisconsin Cheddar*, which was very mild, i would like it to have more pizzazz. *Bacon & Jalapeno* Not bad.. i didnt expect it to be so mild but pretty good! The restaurant gives you bread and apples to dip in the fondue.. very fun! *COOKING METHOD*: my half of the table tried the grill, which is great for table top DIY cooking, we also got the *MOJO* soup base, VERY salty..perfect for the meat to attach to the seasonings, the flavor was nice but NOT meant to be sipped... again, very salty!! Stick a piece of meat on one of your tongs, and stick it in the pot! they recommend 2-3 min cooking time! *DESSERT FONDUE*: TBH, i dont even like dessert OR chocolate.. but man.. this chocolate is top notch quality!!! soooo freaking good like Belgian chocolate or something!! My favorite was the SMORES .. soooo good.. they had the graham cracker crumbs and marshmallow on there.. absolutely delicious!!! They give you an assortment of fruits and chocolate covered marshmallow and more.. amazing!! Overall, the tab was around $750 for our party of 11.. pretty pricey but a really great experience. May come back but for the price i feel like it's a little much, for $35-50/ per person you could get much more somewhere else (since the meat portions are SO TEENY TINY!!) but the experience and overall quality made it worth it. read more
