We haven't been to a Melting Pot in a long time but we decided to come back and give it a try and we are glad we did! Our server was Mike and he was so helpful and gave us great service, We had the Wisconsin Cheddar for the cheese and it was so good then we were unsure about the cooking style for the entrees and that was the one thing that was initially holding us back from going by cooking in the pot with the broth, but he told us about the cast iron grill which was GREAT, It's the same food just cooked on a GRILL AT THE TABLE!! It smelled so good, and tasted amazing and I saw one of the other couples look over at us a lot and we were laughing thinking they might have wanted to steal our grill. Thanks Mike! A very good cheese fondue, but the meal was a little pricey. Plus, when you get the filet mignon...you have to boil it to cook it. What is this, England?! Those people boil pizzas for Cod's sakes! I guess if you want to spend the money to get some action, a perfect date spot. But you can also just take the date to a liquor store, Dakine Diego's, and lay a blanket on the beach. Kidding. The Melting Pot is a unique experience, to be sure. A great spot for date night, or ladies night out. In fact, every so often, they have a "ladies night" here which my girlfriends and I frequent. The Melting Pot is a medium-sized place, dark ambiance, pretty good food - all fondue-based. It's a little pricey, but the wait staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Just had the very best and most exceptional service and dinner at this restaurant. My sons 1st wedding anniversary was today. I decided to do something new and went to The Melting Pot in Viera. Tia and Audrey our servers were absolutely great. They took care of my family part as if we were their family. I have never have such great experience not only with the service but with the great variety of fresh food and great drinks in any other restaurant. My husband and I went for Valentine's Day dinner. We made our reservations 3 weeks in advance on their website for 7pm. When we got to the restaurant, they told us they were running behind. We ended up waiting over an hour for our table. Once we were finally seated the service and food were great. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. A party of 4, we shared the swiss cheese appetizer for 2 ($16) and were glad we did. The house salad was outstanding and colorful. For entrees, we ordered to Pacific something, which included beef, pork, duck, shrimp, and chicken. We ordered one pot of oil-based, and one pot of broth-based, which worked well. Small servings of dipping sauces are included, as well as batter. After the entrees, we were pleasingly stuffed-to-the-gills, but that did not deter us from splitting a chocolate fondue, with peanuts. I do believe this is what heaven tastes like. The decor is upscale and tasteful. The service was good. Price ran about $45 per head, including a glass of wine for 2 in our party, and tip. The food is okay, but they are going WAY overboard on the social distancing. I think they only allow two parties in the whole establishment. We went by there at 2 PM on a Saturday - they claimed they were totally booked but the whole place was empty! We wound up eating outside at the Pizza Gallery nearby. First time eating here, and WOW was I impressed. Our server, Nakai, was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the four course meal with the "Melbourne Big Night Out" entrée. We started with the Classic Alpine cheese fondue, which was really nice and I enjoyed the hint of nutmeg. I had the caesar salad and HOLY COW this might be the best caesar salad I've ever had. I could eat those pine nuts all day. The entrée round was so much fun. The shrimp and Teriyaki sirloin were my favorites, and I enjoyed cooking with my boyfriend. For dessert, we got the Flaming Turtle fondue. It was so delicious, and I could have just eaten the pound cake and rice krispie dippers, but that's just me. Wow. Cannot even believe the service by Taylor and the treatment by owner Maria We ordered a banana fosert dessert to share and I ordered an espresso martini. I could tell that there was going to be a problem when I told Taylor I was not fond of the espresso martini (pictured) it was watery and wasn't the usual espresso martini. I asked for the check. She made a face at me and took the martini, returned with her device to run the check, ready to swipe or insert. I inserted and requested a receipt since I was in able to look over the bill prior to paying, Taylor again made a face and turned off. After completing our banana foster dessert out on the patio with my daughter and boyfriend we were approached by Maria the owner and her companion (didn't get her name) with not so pleasant looks on their faces. Maria than proceeded to say "Do you have a problem with your server?" She was short in her tone. Staring down my boyfriend. Never once asked how our evening was or how the service or food was, like a normal dining experience. I responded with "All I did was ask for a receipt." My boyfriend mentioned how the server (Taylor) neglected to let us know they were still out of some of the dipping items that come with the dessert and didn't appreciate that. She than asked us to leave ‍ she couldn't help give me the cooperate number, said I could look it up myself (which I will). I don't know the reason for why Maria was so unpleasant. One of the worst service experiences we have ever had. We arrived as soon as they opened and it took at least 15 minutes be seated. Once seated it took another 30 to have a drink order taken. We ordered right away and it took forever to get served. Cheese was burning in the pot before we even had a chance to order another drink or dessert. It was just terrible. I have been to different melting pot restaurants in Orlando, on many occasions. This year for my birthday my family took me to the viera location so I was looking forward to a delicious satisfying meal. I'm aware it's a little pricey but I really did not get my money's worth in viera. We were neglected by the staff. The temperature in the room was so cold that we mentioned it 3 times and nothing was one, no manager arrived to explain.. to top it off the portions were half of what they were just a year ago. I am well aware that restaurants need to to make a profit but customer service costs nothing. Fill a beverage, take an order, simple things like removing the pots before the cheese is burnt or before the oil is burnt. Waiting 20 to 30 minutes after we completed each course before the next course would arrive is not the standard that I have seen at melting pot. Do better. And just on a side tangent the Restrooms were unusable by anyone who did not have strong mobility skills. the toilets are the height for a preschool restroom, with just as sparse toilet paper in both the men's and women's room. If you're in a wheelchair don't drink lots of beverages! read more

This was the worst experience I had had at a melting pot before. I would go often in Baltimore but will never go back here again. The service was my main complaint as it was so slow. It took us three hours to eat there I like a good two hour meal but we just sat doing nothing for most of the meal. And the restaurant itself was not even busy. I asked several times for extras of things and refills of drinks and never got them. The chicken they used was almost all tendons so I couldn't even eat them. They gave such a little amount of each sauce that one dip they were gone and I asked for more but never got it. Manager just made excuses when I talked to him. Overall horrible experience. read more

Terrible service. I've been to at least 4 Melting Pot locations & always had great service & an incredible experience. This trip was wildly different though. Our server neglected us for 30 minutes at a time. There we as at least a 20 min delay in between each course, & we were never checked on while we waited. Our drinks were never refilled. After being there for more than 2 hours, we got our desert to go so we didn't have to deal with any more ridiculous delays. So disappointing & not at all worth the cost. Would give negative stars if I could. I had dinner at this location Saturday night in a large party(12) for a friends birthday, and service was pretty horrible. We had only one server, from my understanding parties that large are usually supposed to have 2 servers and we had made reservations a week in advance so the restaurant had plenty of time to make arrangements with staff. It took almost an hour for the table just to get water, when the food finally came out one guest who had previously been a server here had mold on her ravioli and the waiter argued with her about it and made a scene in front of the whole table. Obviously everyone was kind of annoyed at that point. Then for the last course the waiter comes back and asked if we wanted a rain check because now it's awkward, I just wanted to leave but we did the chocolate anyways. There were 6 different tabs, and he messed up all six. We were there waiting almost an extra hour just for them to fix everyone's checks. Then on top of everything the Manager never once approached our table, we had to seek him out to speak to him numerous times. It was very obvious in his demeanor that he did not care whatsoever, his only emotionless response was "I wish there was something I could do" and when we asked for the corporate number he was trying to give us some weird email instead of the correct number. read more

The Food was great, after we finally was served. The service was terrible. Our waiter was exeptionally inattentive, paying way more attention to the table with the drunken girls sitting next to us. Waiter came by to get our drink order saying the waitress was backed up. 15 min later she came around to get drink order!!! We ordered cheese fondue and ordered another round of drinks. 20 min later she brought the cheese and made the pot. We ate and had to go up front for the check. NEVER got the drinks. Yelp should allow a review without adding a Star. I used to love going to the bar and having drinks and Cheese Fondue. You can tell there is a management crisis at this restaurant because the service has gone down hill over the last couple of months. The portion size on the happy hour fondue is basically a single serving now and their appetizers are being cooked in a crappier microwave I had in my college dorm. And the bartenders are a joke and don't know how to make drinks. And when you confront management they act surprised which is totally disingenuous and a sign of insecurity. I have to admit that I'm surprised a fondue place even draws any customers because I thought they all went the way of Benihana but I believe the bar kept it alive but no longer. Sad. read more
