I've been here a few times for an anniversary dinner and a bachelorette party. There are many options to choose from and the food is great. Be prepared to pay a lot, especially if you have a big party.

The Melting Pot: Walking in- The atmosphere was rustic but clean, and the smell walking in was extremely pleasant. The booths were very secluded, great for a date or just for some privacy. Service: Having to explain the menu and how a place like this works is hard work, and our server did it well. Victoria and Lexi were kind and respectful and explained things well. Appetizers- The bread board was wonderful to dip in the Wisconsin cheddar. The caesar salad was good, but the candied pine nuts added an unnecessary sweetness. The California salad was good but overdressed. Meal- The entrees were great; the skewers were color coded to each person so you knew whose food belonged to who. There was a booklet that showed the cook times. There were a variety of sauces and bottomless veggies to go with your meal and the cooking was overall a great experience. The chicken potstickers were DELICIOUS; great with the teriyaki sauce. The salmon was also really good, along with the bourbon steak which was tender and super flavorful. The pepper steak was also flavorful but even more delicious was the teriyaki steak, bursting with amazing flavor. The chicken was decent, but the duck was fabulous, it went well with the plum sauce. The potatoes and broccoli were good as well. I'm not a big fan of shrimp but it went great with the cooking style we chose (mojo), and was excellent. Dessert: The dessert was amazing, the s'mores flambé was great with the assortment of sweet treats (i.e waffle bits, brownies, blondies, pound cake, Rice Krispie Treats, strawberries, bananas, and graham crackers) and was wonderful with milk. It melted inside my mouth and topped off our meal perfectly. The Melting Pot was amazing, the best dinner experience I've ever had. Everything about this place was perfect, so stop by The Melting Pot today for a great time!

Absolutely everything was perfect! My other half surprised me with VIP treatment here for my birthday. We had the whole section to ourselves, candles, rose petals on the table, table side ice bucket of champagne not a single detail missed. The service was out of this world as well. Cannot wait to go back.

Presentation was very cute. The birthday cake flavored fondue was tasty. Definitely over priced. Didn't like how the server dropped us the bill when we weren't even done our food yet. We were planning to order another round or 2 of drinks but decided not to since the server didn't ask if we wanted anything else before giving us the bill. We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant gave the birthday girl a pretty card pre-signed by the staff, that was thoughtful. Drinks were good.

Now the best bartender ever. Our waitress was also super friendly and knowledgeable. When did the melting pot servers start wearing jeans? Blue jeans ? I've been going for 30+ years and always all black. So food was good, then our dessert came out. I've eaten here 4-5 times a year my whole life. They sent out our fruit and dipping for the chocolate. I kid you not the bananas were just the tips on the end. 4 of these tips. Not even the size of a reg slice. Then the pineapple. I looked at other pics on yelp and they' usually give you 4 big chunks. We got two and they cut them into 4 so they were a tiny square!!!!! Our meal with tip was almost 200. (Yes we drank) Love paying for the fruit that they were going to throw out.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and did the romance package! Package; Comes with 6 long stemmed roses, bottle of champagne, rose petal table, picture frame and the 4-course dinner for two (big dinner is an option- the smorgasbord style) all for $150. Ambience: we came around 6:00 and it was perfect. Not too quiet and a cute little booth. Wished the lighting was dimmer but it was pleasant. Service: our server was new but knew the menu. Service got a little slow after the first course. Overall we were there for a little over two hours. Food: the cheese and chocolate fondue were amazing. We got the loaded baked potatoe cheese and the yin yang dessert. The pound cake &&brownies were especially great to dip. For entrees we got the steak special (the pepper steak was the best) and a choose your own with the lobster tail.

I don't know how I haven't reviewed Melting Pot yet!! Everything about this place is amazing! The four course meal includes a cheese fondue (my favorite), a salad (the California is really delicious), an entree (meat and other choices as well as vegetables) and a dessert chocolate fondue (also quite amazing). We go several times a year every year. The ambiance is great, and you have your own little private space with walls. This location has always been so accommodating too. One year we wanted to go on Valentine's Day (my birthday) but since the special meal that day is typically shellfish (which I'm highly allergic to) I couldn't go. They offered to let us in a little early so we could be in and out before the shellfish was prevalent. I mean, what an amazing thing to do! We've also gone just for the chocolate fondue, for just the cheese, for cheese and chocolate - you can customize however you like! I highly recommend going!! It's a super fun time. Get extra green goddess with the main entree because it's so good on everything but especially great if you cook the mushrooms and then stuff them with green goddess. Also, we typically buy the garlic and wine seasoning to take home because it's so yummy! Make sure you leave tons of room in your tummy when you go because you'll leave feeling soooo full!

    Thank you, Jordan!

Had my birthday dinner there last night. We had never been to the Melting Pot before. Our waitress, Jordan, was terrific. She explained the menu, the process, everything. Super friendly and knowledgeable without ever being pushy. The different courses were timed perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the whole process.

The restaurant is dark and vibey, and the house music is pretty loud so it may be difficult to hear others if you have a large party. -- I loved the burrata poptart! It was so perfectly flaky and fluffy, and the seasoning on top complemented the creamy burrata inside. It's topped with a sweet onion jam. It's the perfect balance of savory and sweet. -- The pork ribs fell off the bone, but they were bland. The accompanying green goddess dressing was a nice accompaniment, but even with that I was craving more flavor. The crispy tenkasu provided a nice texture contrast. -- The Australian Wagyu Hanger is supposed to be served medium rare but the steak I received was very undercooked, making the dish pretty chewy and unenjoyable. I did really enjoy the celery relish and two sauces. The steak was seasoned well. -- The Peach Bellini dessert was the best bite of the night -- it was perfectly balanced and so refreshing. The peach is subtle and the citrus shaved ice contrasts the creamy panna cotta well.

And I'm so glad that it was as we (I) drove over an hour of straight highway to get to this gem. Are there other MP locations closer? Yes, but I know what I was looking for in my baby's first attempt at real fondue. And this did not disappoint. Located right across from KOP mall, it a nice area. Inside is nice, modern, and very clean. We were immediately greeted by who seemed to be the manager (sorry I didn't get her name) and it started our elite experience from literally the door. We were immediately shown to our seats, which I loved. Right next to a beautiful, modern fireplace. Very comfy seating. Lexi was extremely pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Her menu suggestions also really helped my pockets, which I appreciated. Now on to the food. We ordered the Alpine white fondue with white wine, garlic, and Swiss.. AMAZING! I love the dipper options of bread and veggies. My favorite is the pumpernickel. Just enough to split before our salads came out. We both chose the Caesar salad and it was delicious. Dessert was the white chocolate fondue, which wasn't my favorite.. not as much depth as the milk chocolate, but my daughter was set on this choice.. and obviously as she killed the whole thing! We washed everything down with a DELICIOUS watermelon cooler mocktail that was so refreshing. I'm trying to figure out how to recreate at home. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We plan to make it back soon!

She was very plesant the whole time I was here, just the right amout of attentive too, absolutely flawless service. Ambiance, man does this place shine. Its quiet, which is very plesant whether in a party or alone. The only native sound in the restaurant is the HVAC blowing, otherwise its conversation making this place feel natural, not forced, and very lively. The physical appearance is laid back, theres wood everywhere, the stone bar, and cutting boards on the wall just bring a perfect little pop to the restaurant. If you look up near the entrance you're greeted by a full green wall, they may or may not be real, I'm not sure but it was a welcome sight nonetheless. Let's move in to food while I'm rambling on. The cheese fondue was a delight, and the dinner fondue was as well. A scrumptious blend of indulgent cheese and hearty broth made for a great dinner. Plus, of course the proteins, vegetables and fruits that come as dippers (cant forget the dippers!) Really its a great experience. All in all, I cannot recommend it enough you'll be very happy with your decision! Oh and of course I have to talk price, its important aye? So I'll admit its on the more expensive side for one, however when you count in that each dish is meant to serve two its a no brainer. The prices are super reasonable for dished meant for two people, honestly great spot for a date its intimate enough that you'll be able to have a conversation but not so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. A perfect 5 for an excellent local spot, cheers and well earned.

Our server was friendly and prompt. We ended up ordering 3 of the tapas plates to share, one cocktail each, and then the dessert fondue at the end. We loved each of the small plates with the pretzel breaded chicken skewers being my favorite. The drinks were beautifully presented and delicious. I thought the dessert fondue was a good portion size for the price ($25 for 2 people). We couldn't finish all of the dippers, but our chocolate fondue was basically gone by the end. We had ordered the Reese's fondue, but she brought us milk chocolate and we didn't realize until a few dips in. I love the decor and furniture here. It feels upscale and intimate, but comfortable. They have a bar area to the front and then more formal dining in booths in the back. At the end of the day, we each spent around $55 after tip. I think it's a wonderful place for a splurge dinner or to celebrate an event.

The Love is better. The space is beautiful, the service is consistently warm, and Stephen Starr's fingerprints are all over it. I love the painted white brick, the floral artwork along the walls, the street-level energy, and the outdoor seating. I also remember taking the elevator upstairs once. I can't remember whether we actually stayed and ate up there or asked to move back downstairs, but the space was charming and extremely private. It would be a great setting for a group dinner or event. Personally, I prefer downstairs. It's darker, livelier, and I like being at street level. The menu historically leaned more heavily into elevated Southern comfort food, which has never been my favorite style of cooking. That's probably why I've tended to prefer The Love for lunch over dinner, especially when Philadelphia has so many Starr restaurants competing for the same night out. I used to get what I remember as a salmon and farro bowl, although the menu appears to have evolved since then. Whatever the exact iteration was, I loved it. Fish and farro are both right in my wheelhouse. I've also enjoyed the kale salad and other lighter dishes. The thing I remember most vividly, though, is the cornbread. It is outrageously good and reason enough to order something for the table. I also give Starr credit for continuing to broaden the range of food styles in his portfolio. Once you've built restaurants across Italian, French, Mexican, English, steakhouses, seafood, and the rest, there are only so many obvious boxes left to check. The Love feels like its own lane: distinctly American, approachable, comfort-driven, and still polished enough to feel like a Starr restaurant. Looking at the menu now, it seems broader than I remember, with more options that appeal to me, and I'd be psyched to go back. The Love probably isn't the first Starr restaurant I'd choose purely based on cuisine, but that says more about the depth of his Philadelphia portfolio than it does about this restaurant. The room, hospitality, location, and execution are all excellent. I'd happily come here any day. Starr doesn't miss.
