The vegan meat is NOT soy based like most vegan meats out there which is fantastic! This vegandilla even beats non vegan quesadillas... We both agreed that it was the Best Quesadillas we've had so far in our lives. We had ginger mint iced teas for our drinks which was soothing and delicious. Also Kristelle, our server, was really friendly and patient with us while we were nervous about ordering the vegan dish due to our concern of soy. She was kind enough to double check with her manager and her manager assured us that there's no soy in the vegan meat. The ingredients are high quality! I had the Habibi Steak burrito. I think I weighs about 3lbs. It's huge and tasted great. My wife had the 3 hump shrimp tacos. They tasted as great as they look! I do not understand these great reviews. We got the hummus which was watery, tangy and bland. The lentil soup was just salty broth, with no veggies and tasted like they added liquid smoke. The falafel was dry and hard. The vegan shawarma bowl left so much to be desired. The rice looked like microwave rice, and the potatoes were undercooked. First - I love this place. The food is excellent. The taste is incredible. The staff are wonderful! However, I will say that I wish I could have two kabobs in my burrito instead of one. Getting "one meat" and choosing a chicken kabob felt like I was ripping myself off. I have to pay for a second one when 1 just isn't enough for burrito size. Given the amount of carbs that are in there (rice, flour tortilla, specific toppings), having a good amount of protein is super important to not crash later in the day. Please offer a bigger portion size on this as default.
