The major, and I mean major things was it was not crowded! Which was a huge relief for spring break and the crowds we dealt with every where else we went. The second MAJOR plus! The food was actually really good! You don't hear that much about amusement parks! If the family says they would eat it served anywhere else, then it's good! I recommend the family pack with food! Ok so value wise, you can look at it in two ways. The perks could outweigh the seeming thought of overpaying. It's waaaaaay cheaper than seaworld, or six flags. I can see it being worth more value if the water park section was opened. For right now, the fact the kiddos and even the misses could ride all day, and no long lines, make this a win for us. There are no token to buy, just all day wristbands. Yes the video games for the most part are dated. It's also not a huge park. There are four major rides outside. My family said the rollercoaster was a lot more violent and faster than they thought it would be. They were split whether they liked it or not. They also all loved the go kart attraction. We almost missed a small section in the inside towards the back. They had a bungee trampoline, a small rock wall, and a flight simulator! The family all enjoyed the flight simulator! It made for lots of laughs. They did have a playground and ball area for the smaller kids which we did not explore. Again, this is not a major theme park, but more like a light version with less crowds! We are coming back! The only negatives for us, the distance from where we live, the dated video game rides, and the water park being closed. It's not crazy cheap, but not crazy expensive. Hope that makes sense. It's almost like it was worth it to us because we were already driving back into town. That's pretty much it...

So I was excited to see what New Braunfels has to offer. I prepaid online for the tickets and reserved for 11:00 AM on a Saturday. When I arrived, the parking situation was terribly confusing. Once you drive in, there's a huge parking lot then there's a sign that says, "Camp Fimfo", I drove through the entrance of the sign. Towards my left, I saw a water park and drove to the back of the amusement park where I spotted everyone on golf carts. I turned around and drove to where the coaster was a tiny sign pointing in the direction of it. I got lost and via Google reviews a lot of people do. So to find the coaster, keep your eyes peeled for tiny signs that they "alpine coaster" is on the left side after the water park. There's plenty of parking in front of the coaster and a country store on site. I parked on some dusty rocks as the parking lot wasn't paved. There was hardly anyone else around for the 11:00 AM slot which was great! No long lines. My friend and I located the restroom on the side of the store. Restrooms were clean. Back at the coaster, we both signed waivers and the coaster staff helped us into separate seats with seatbelts. I had so much fun!! I couldn't stop laughing because the speed was fast around the curves and I didn't pull up the brakes. I pushed down the lever to make the cart go. I loved this Alpine coaster!! They have lockers where you can store your personal belongings. Bring your own lock. I would go around this coaster over and over again if I lived closer!!

The workers varied from really nice and helpful to grumpy and appearing to hate their jobs. The place in general is a money pit, but I think you know that going into it. We happened to get in on a BOGO special. Otherwise the price seems crazy high. The roller coaster was one activity that seemed to be running very inefficient. It took forever for them to load the carts. They did jump workers around to different activities so everything isn't always open and the times posted didn't actually match up to when they were open.

That's when we found out that for $30 you could get one hour of free play on non ticketed games. We bought one card and were able to play the Walking Dead rail shooter, the entire campaign of the Halo rail shooter, and some Cruisin' to wrap up the night. It was a Friday night, so they were pretty busy but it's such a huge arcade that it really never is a problem. The staff were all super nice and made me feel welcomed. There is a pretty great selection of games at Tom Foolery. I do wish they had an NBA Jam style arcade machine or more "mature" games like Halo and Walking Dead, but beggars can't be choosers. If you've ever wanted to just be a guy and run through full arcade game campaigns, the Tom's Power Hour deal is absolutely worth it. I will be back one day to beat the Jurassic Park campaign. There were rides available, but my nephew wasn't interested in getting on any of them. I did want to try the zip line, but the wait was about an hour. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this park wasn't just accommodating -- it was built with everyone in mind. They've gone above and beyond offering waterproof wheelchairs at the splash pad water park, so no one misses out on the fun. The zip line experience is exhilarating and inclusive. With adaptive five-point harnesses and trained, compassionate staff, guests with limited mobility can soar through the air safely and confidently. The playgrounds are thoughtfully designed for accessibility without losing any of the excitement. Smooth, wide pathways, sensory-friendly areas, and equipment that accommodates kids of all abilities mean everyone can play together, not apart. I was thankful for all the shade provided and the soft floor padding was a bonus. Every staff member we met was kind, trained, and empowered. They did a great job and added to the value of our day. If you or a loved one has a disability or have small children and are looking for an amusement park experience, Morgan's is an excellent place with a beautiful story of a father's dedication and love. Highly recommend.

After you're done, there is a playground for the kids and a nice "western town" area for photos. There are more attractions like a little train for kids but it was shut down so I don't know if they're working on it or what. Don't get your expectations up for the sights on the train ride - it's not much. A soccer field and then it's just dry brush / trees. One of the most disappointing elements was that there was no info given on the ride (saw speakers so the conductor could have talked). According to their website, the train takes you through the hideout of Sam Bass (outlaw that died in Round Rock) so that would have been cool to hear about. Overall, kids love trains so this is a good way to entertain them.
