Seeing any restaurant rather busy amidst the rush of 103rd & State Line weekday traffic is a good sign, and it was slightly hectic, to the point one server mixed up a couple of orders. Fortunately, an astute diner caught the error before it mattered. Seeing orders lined up around meal times is a sign that the business is thriving, and clearly it is. The food didn't disappoint, either. I was here for their cannoli, and they even had more than one style when I visited. Wanting to be sort of a purist, I chose the Sicilian variety (to share with my Sicilian friend who, like me, LOVES cannoli) and they were great. I shall return to try other options here. Seems like gravy is the weakness at a lot of places so if you find one that has great gravy then that is five stars. The restaurant itself is fine. It's clean, but to me it just looks like every other breakfast restaurant and I wish they would have done something different to stand out. Our server was very accurate, efficient and pleasant. It's a breakfast place so they have big sections and turning tables is the name of the game, so keep that in mind. Having worked in restaurants in my younger days I totally know what makes a great breakfast server and this is what you want. The price was really good. My wife and I ate there for 30 bucks.
