We loved these! We were in town visiting and wanted a place to grab some breakfast that we could take to the beach. The Windmill Food Hall was between us and the beach, so we thought mini donuts would be perfect. We were there around 8something in the morning and most of the food hall is closed and empty at this point with the exception of a coffee place up front. This is toward the back, right before you turn the corner. They had a variety of flavors out and available since it was early and we decided to go with a 12 pack and pick 6 flavors each. Overall, we got the chocolate sprinkles, chocolate, cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles, maple, churro, and glazed. I loved every bite! I figured because they were mini donuts that they would be more of a cake texture which I'm not the biggest fan of, but to me it felt like a mix between cake donut and normal donut. It wasn't too dense and heavy, still felt very light but substantial. I loved every flavor I got, but I think my favorite was the glazed and the fruity pebbles. We also got the chocolate milk and like an orange creamsicle type of milk. Overall, this was a great stop! It traveled well to the beach, kept us filled up for a bit, and tasted really good on top of that. Service was also very nice. If we lived here, I would absolutely come back. read more

Originally saw mini donuts at another Food Hall a few days prior, but since their staff members were away on break, we weren't able to get it. Given I was still thinking about the missed opportunity, I decided I wasn't going to miss this chance to order them. There's a variety of donut flavors, and I appreciate that the speciality flavors are on one side, while the more typical sugar donut offerings are in a separate display case. I would argue that it would be nice for the plain donuts to be at a cheaper price point, but oh well. Ordered a dozen of mostly speciality donuts, and they are just... okay. Given that we had come around 5:30pm (Legoland closed at 5pm), it was quite disappointing to see how stale the donuts were. They had definitely been made earlier that morning or even the night before because the fruity pebbles on one of them were faintly moist and quite stale itself. That said, they aren't bad, and I imagine they'd be much better if made fresh. I feel like stale donuts could still be sold, but maybe again, at a different price point, so that people know what they're walking into when ordering. We came at 2pm and it was all just sitting there so maybe they make it fresh in the morning and when they sell out, that's it? I'm not a fan because all the toppings dried like a shell and fell off.
