My mom brings me here for lunch from Parma occasionally and I love the place. They have really good beef stew and the staff is always really nice. The main waitress I've seen is pretty quiet/soft spoken but she'll give you the sweetest smile while you order. Overall, it's a cute little whole in the wall that you definitely don't want to miss. read more

We've heard so much about this place' prime rib specials on Friday and Saturday that we decided to have breakfast this morning here. I ordered eggs, ham and hash browns. Eggs were fine, ham salty and hash browns were actually mashed potatoes that looked like hash browns. My partner ordered a Denver Omelette. It was huge, filled up a steak plate. Again, hash browns were mashed potatoes and the omelette was nasty. Only ate about a fourth of it. Tasted like grease. Yes, it looks like a greasy spoon and after breakfast my opinion is it is a greasy spoon and I'm a local. read more

Just inside the Oregon border is this older, yet homey restaurant/bar. Stumbled upon this place while searching Yelp and made the short drive from Parma to give it a whirl. No, it's not your fancy place, but it's a place that serves good home style cooking for a reasonable price. Very friendly here and laid back. Great escape from the busy side of life. read more

The Prime Rib IS TO DIE FOR! My wife and I tried them for the first time last night. I ordered a rare cut with baked potato she ordered medium rare with fries we got a side of onion rings and their salads. Being a small town my rare cut was actually rare and the wife's was actually medium rare cooked the way we wanted it. The salads are just a standard side salad nothing special but they're blue cheese is amazing! They're onion rings have the perfect crunch the perfect tasting batter only two other places I've ate that have had onion rings this good. The french fries were standard hand cut french fries that honestly really weren't that great but they weren't horrible either. There au jus is a nice thick au jus really clings to the meat tastes so good. And they don't give you horsey sauce that's cut with so much sour cream you can't taste the horseradish they give you nice straight hot horseradish. The only reason for my four star review and not a five star review is we did take out and they didn't give me anything for my baked potato no butter no sour cream no chives no bacon no cheese nothing it was literally just a baked potato; had this been a loaded potato or even had at least butter and sour cream with it this would have been a five star review. The restaurant itself is definitely classified as a dive two small rooms with limited seating. I highly recommend that you try them also recommend if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night that you make a reservation as the place was packed and there wasn't a single seat left in the house. The outside of the restaurant looks about the same really divvy it's in a strip mall type setting part of it's a hardware store part of it is the restaurant. But again don't let looks deceive you go give them a try at least with the prime rib you won't be disappointed. read more

Just recently moved to nyssa but like a mile to the restaurant, my boyfriend said he loves going there and I love prime rib so we had to go. When ordering I asked the waitress what sides do you have since I usually get mashed potatoes or something soft for my 8 month old daughter she was kinda rude and sounded like I was dumb. My wife and I went last night. I love Prime rib. I'm very happy we drove out there. When we first walked in I was a bit hesitant. We had the grilled chicken salad and grilled chicken sandwich. The salad looked and tasted great. The grilled chicken sandwich was complemented with pickles and lettuce. Service was fast and friendly. Try the huckleberry ice cream. The berries must have been picked yesterday. read more

This is the best prime rib I have had in the area of this part of Idaho. Service was friendly and felt like home cooking. We ate at the tables on the bar side and were pleasantly surprised of the service. The service we received was very accommodating our water glasses were full and as our cocktails and beer were close to running low we were asked if we wanted another. I've eaten here too many times to count, but after the owner passed away and her son took over, it was clear he was trying to cut costs. I walked in one evening, and a waitress yelled, "they've changed the finger steaks, you won't like the onion rings and we no longer serve Diet Pepsi. I wish she'd caught me on the sidewalk. We've been back a few times and even ordered the old favorites, to our disappointment. Last time we were there, I ordered an open faced turkey sandwich. After the waitress told the cook our order, I heard him yell, "we're out of mashed potatoes." How does this happen on a Thursday, when you get your order on Thursday, I wonder, while yelling "tator tots." When my meal arrived, my tots were lukewarm, my gravy was cold, and the thin sliced deli turkey was cold and crusty on the edges. It was gross. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, especially during the pandemic, but we haven't been back since the cold, crusty food episode. I had been told prior to that, they had hired a fancy new kitchen manager. Guess he needs to get his isht together. Next time I'm in town on a Friday night, I'll walk a block and see if the pizza guy is still open. read more

This is a little out of our way, (from Middleton) but our friends told us if you want good prime rib you have to try the Mirage in Adrian Or. This last Birthday / Fathers day celebeation we drove over there and it was well worth the ride. Prime Rib beats out the "House of Prime Rib In San Francico, by far. My wife and I went there 22 March for dinner. From the moment we stepped inside until we departed, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was outstanding and the food even more so. My wife had the smaller (!!) of the cuts and I had the chicken fried steak. Her portion was enormous and as usual, much of it found it's way home with us. She asked for medium rare leaning to the rarer side and that's what she got. It couldn't have been more tender. And the au jus was so good, she said she would as soon drink it if she didn't have the meat to dip in it. Her salad was generous and of a good size and they bring 4 different homemade dressings to the table for you to choose from. She went with fries as a side and they were also done well and very tasty. My chicken fried steak was also quite generous and cooked perfectly- NOT deep fried, but pan fried. The country gravy was very good and the mashed potatoes were also. I opted for the clam chowder which while not the best I've ever had, was still good. For dessert- I know, really??- we had a piece of the blackberry pie and one of the apple. Yummm. Can't recommend this place enough, but definitely reservations are a prerequisite. The restaurant only seats maybe 40-50 and all tables were kept full. The servers were taking food into the bar side- which we didn't explore this trip so can't help much in that regard. It took us just under an hour each way, but well worth the trip. Prime rib is some of the best in the northwest. Served with your choice of potato and soup or salad. It's homey with lots of characters. Great local bands at the bar next door on Friday nights. You won't be sorry for making the trip. Might want to call ahead for reservations. Some nights get pretty busy. Breakfasts are good too. Excellent biscuits and gravy on Sunday mornings, big omelets, good bacon. Lunches are typical diner fare. Often have lunch specials - cooks choice. read more

Went here on a recommendation from a colleague...checked their only on line presence on Facebook. Seemed reasonable, they take reservations, walk ins welcome, it was a spur of the moment kind of thing... didn't mind waiting... it's a Friday night after all.... We drive an hour and a half, the place is very busy, no real area to wait, did not know reservations were REQUIRED. After being ignored by some very harried waitresses, was finally asked if we had a reservation, uhm no... was told, well, maybe they can take care of us in the bar... went to the bar, needed a reservation there as well. Kitchen is open to the dining room... had a non commercial refrigerator, with no handles, a regular household stove and oven, worn out tables and chairs, not homey, just old. The dining rooms maybe accommodate 60 people, and were extremely cramped and loud. We left and went to Longhorn Steakhouse in Boise... and probably paid about the same price as we would have dropped in Adrian. Prime Rib is no culinary masterpiece, anyone can cook it. I will save my gas next time... at least the drive was pleasant. read more
