Really like the atmosphere as it is not at all a cookie cutter restaurant. Large, open, old hard wood floors, big old fireplace, extra second level seating (just a step up). Beautiful display of deserts, a lot of them, perfect place to stop if you need to bring a hostess gift or something like that. The employees are nice, use teamwork, are efficient. They have daily lunch specials. I can only speak to one dish that I got hooked on &that is the white chicken chili. It has a bite to it that almost brings flush cheeks or a beed of sweat and that is the very best way to make it and I get it every time. My husband and friends I've eaten there with always clean their plate so I take it as a good sign that the other food choices are good too. I was here on Sunday August 30th with a friend for coffee. It is a nice place to go eat, get coffee or a drnk, and the prices are nice. I gave only 4 stars because you have to go to counter and order, then they bring out to the table later. Since I am fresh out of hospital and rehab, it would have been easier for me to sit, then be taken care of by a wait staff. I am glad that the friend I was with was able to take my coffee to then table for me. This place is large and good for groups. The wait staff does bring the food to the table after it is ordered and cooked. They also come around later to give refils on coffee. I can say thery are very friendly and personable. I just got the Gutamulen blend coffee and a bagel this time around but will have to try one of their meals. Everything I saw being sent to other tables looked very good. I guess I will have to go the next time I am in Warren. read more

I recently met up with a friend here a couple hours before closing time. We stayed right up until they closed but we did not feel rushed at all! Excellent customer service for sure!! Our cashier was sweet and very quick to make changes for us. She also toasted my pastry, which was a bonus for me. We sat at one of the booths away from the crowd and it was lovely. The Mocha House has been a staple in Warren for many years. I recently went there for the first time in a few years and was glad to see it was exactly how I remembered it with a laid back atmosphere, cheap prices and great desserts and coffee! We have been coming to Mocha House for years mostly for breakfasts which are amazing. I love their oatmeal. But nothing we have had has ever disappointed. I love their breakfast potatoes too. Their burgers are so good too. And the chicken fingers and fries. My favorite thing ever is their California Cheesecake. We aren't able to come here as often as we did when we lived closer, but whenever we get a chance we come here. The prices can't be beat. read more

Traveling through on tour. The coffee was excellent - had my almond milk! The salad was pretty good. But the Russian tea cookie/cake/bar was brilliant. Great atmosphere and food. Good for kids, although I wish they would've had fruit in the teddy bear pancakes and not just whipped cream. Was in OH visiting my sister and she said we HAD to go here and I'm so glad we did. The smell from outside was heavenly and when we walked in I was blown away. Their cakes and pastries looked fantastic. I had tiramisu and the others had cheesecake. Probably the best of both I've ever tasted. I also got a simple croissant sandwich that was fabulous. The food is good, the only thing I think they need to change is the California wrap; and also the staff need to be trained on being more friendly, and not stressed out when they are busy. Here the reason why (sorry it's going to take a long time to get to the reason). I was at work and the people I work with were trying to figure out what we wanted for lunch. So we decided to have The Mocha House (here's the amazing part they deliver)!! So we order over and the phone and the person who took our orders was very rude to us and upset because we had credit cards on us and no cash. She said they would only aloud it once, and next time we have to have only two credit cards for delivering, and that's understandable; but don't give an attitude over the phone to a customer, when telling us that. So we continue our order and she stressing out and told another staff member that shes freaking out, and she cant handle this. The girl that was ordering the food was very insulted and upset. She told us what the girl was saying and I told her, I had her before and she said the same thing in front of me. Usually I'll put it aside and say she had a bad day. I know what's it like to work with the public...I currently work in customer service and it does get stressful, so I know how she feels; but you have keep your emotions in check. So, we finally got our food. I had no complaints on my food, it was really good; but I love it there and never had any problems when it comes down there cooking. I asked my manager how she liked her wrap because I was going to order that next time. She told me it was okay the only thing she did not like was the veggies they used, they taste like they were frozen and they just put in the wrap. I was shocked when she told me that because everything taste fresh to me. But please don't let this review scare you. I'm telling you it's amazing! So if you ever want to try something new try The Mocha House. You'll love the old building, it feels like you are stepping back in time, and it smell like coffee even outside!!
