I was very disappointed by our experience here today. As a new mom, I was looking forward to a quiet brunch with a friend, but we were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in with a baby. Despite there being several open tables that could have easily accommodated us, we were told there would be a long wait. The manager (whose name I didn't get) seemed visibly annoyed by the baby's presence and was not nice at all. We won't be returning to an establishment that isn't family-friendly. My wife and I were initially disappointed to hear that our favorite location had closed, but this new, much larger location quickly made up for it. We were warmly greeted and seated almost immediately--no more struggling to find a spot like in the past. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and polite. The only slight hiccup was with our waitress. She mentioned she'd bring us some waters while we looked over the menu, but they never arrived. That said, I won't hold it against her or the restaurant--these things happen. Throughout our visit, the rest of the staff made friendly small talk, which added a nice personal touch. We also had a great conversation with a very pleasant gentleman--either the owner or manager--who made us feel genuinely welcome. As we were leaving, he made a point to stop us, shake my hand, thank us for coming, and wish us a safe trip home. That thoughtful gesture truly stood out. We'll definitely be back. The food and drinks were fantastic, but it was that final interaction that really sealed the deal. read more

One Thousand percent recommend! Came here for brunch on Sunday and was very impressed! We were greeted immediately by the friendly hostess and seated at one of the adorable rooms. The decor is super cute and eclectic where nothing matches and yet it absolutely works. The rooms and seating are so cute and colorful and eclectic. The drinks and food are the same. Super colorful and almost too pretty to eat! They have a huge offering of coffees and teas. I ordered a Mocha and it was so creamy and decadent. We then ordered the flight of avocado toast and it was more than enough for two to share. The owner came over to greet us and to make sure all was well. Will definitely be back! read more

The Modern Rose is a old Victorian themed tea house/cafe. It has a menu filled with delicious coffees, Bobas and teas unlike anywhere else. The food is great!! And there's a lot of quality unique meals to choose from. The staff is super nice and helpful, even for Boba newbies like myself (my kids know all about Boba though and give it a two thumbs up!). My whole family reccomends coming to the Modern Rose whenever you're in Delray Beach!! Now I have to go try the one in St. Augustine! read more

Since The Modern Rose in Deerfield closed, I decided to check out the Delray location, even though it's not very close to me. The place is super cute, and the decor is beautiful. I loved the different seating options, including the tea room, bar, and regular dining tables. The space feels open and inviting. One big plus is that this location has a host who takes your info and texts you when a table is ready. At the Deerfield location, finding a table was always a struggle, so this was a refreshing change. Parking was easy and right up front. Even though they were busy, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. The kitchen was running behind, which they let us know in advance. It took about 40 minutes to get our food, and my order was incorrect. However, since I wasn't in a rush, I didn't mind. They quickly remade my order and even added a loaf as a kind gesture. Our coffees came out right away, and the service was excellent. This spot is perfect for a girly brunch. We already have a table reserved for April, and we're excited to go back! read more

Going into this place, I was skeptical. Its very pretty, they clearly put effort into an Instagrammable look. That being said, the drinks and food warrant it! Absolutely delicious, and they offer healthy options that I felt comfortable ordering. The ambiance is very cutesy. Horrible service, my wife and I ordered coffee and breakfast. I asked if we could have water to start us off, waited for our water for 42 minutes before asking the host where our waitress was? The table next to us arrived 10 minutes after us ,and ate almost their entire meal before I said anything to the host. As we were walking out the door he approaches us and says our order didn't go through we waited 42 minutes and didn't even get a sip of water lol.... I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody seemed like a nice spot. I had the manager call his name was Craig, seemed like a very nice guy very apologetic to me, I do understand as a business owner you can't control everything that happens in your business, and mistakes will always happen. Craig even said he would give me a voucher for the next time we come in, that I never received and to be honest didn't plan on coming back anyway. read more
