    Marc!

Tony is the absolute BOY. The service is always on point when he is working. Tony has done nothing but make me and my girlfriend and friends so comfortable and welcomed on every stay. The bar back Marc is absolutely a star. I love the monkey bar and I love the family all of us have created here. If you need a good regular spot with beer pong, ping pong, arcade games, and a juke box, MONKEY BAR IS THE SHIIIII!!! Big shout out to Tony and Marc.

    Drink time!

Elevated Hospitality: A Masterclass in Event Execution at Tom's Watch Bar…read more I recently organized an event for 120 guests at Tom's Watch Bar in Denver, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the initial contract phase to the final onsite execution, the team proved they are true masters of high-stakes hospitality. The Vision & Planning Working with Joanna during the planning phase was a dream. She is a consummate professional with a sharp eye for detail. She understood exactly how to translate our brand into the space, creating a custom Denver-themed digital design featuring our logo that played across every large screen. The energy it brought to the room was palpable--our Immediate Past President was so impressed she's already requested the same "wow factor" for all our future events. The Spread The catering exceeded all expectations. We opted for a diverse package that catered beautifully to everyone, including our vegetarian and vegan guests. The Savory: The mac & cheese was a crowd favorite, and the chicken tenders were perfectly crispy and moist. The loaded sliders and tater tot bar also kept the energy high throughout the evening. The Sweet: Do not miss the dessert bar. Specifically, there is a peanut butter bar with an incredible internal crunch that is absolutely addictive. The Atmosphere & Entertainment The venue layout is genius. We had a mix of indoor seating for both small and large group discussions, plus an incredible outdoor space with stunning stadium views. We brought in a third-party karaoke vendor, and the staff--Joanna, Zach and Matt--coordinated with them so seamlessly behind the scenes that I didn't have to worry about a single technical detail. Between the karaoke, Jenga, and cornhole, there was never a dull moment. The Service What truly sets this venue apart is the personal touch. Zach and Matt are absolute stars. Knowing I was busy managing the entrance and welcoming guests, they went out of their way to check in on me personally, ensuring I had food and a drink in hand. That level of care for an event organizer is rare and deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a venue that combines a high-energy atmosphere with white-glove professional service, Tom's Watch Bar is the place. Request Joanna, Zach, and Matt--you'll be in the best hands in Denver.

I ordered a Riesling and we shared the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza and an order of buffalo wings. The flatbread happy hour special is pretty solid- $8 instead of $14. It was fresh and hot. A little greasy, but it tasted good. I liked the wings as well but the portion seemed a little small for the price. Service was good and we enjoyed our meal. @azfitfoodfun

I sat there long enough without a menu that the CUSTOMER NEXT TO ME finally handed me one--shoutout to her for unexpectedly joining the waitstaff. Eventually, one of the two bartenders appeared and took my drink order. About 15 minutes later, the drink arrived. Food, however, remained an elusive concept because he never came back to take my order. To be fair, he was extremely busy. There were other customers to attend to, people to socialize with, a computer system to stare at in visible confusion, and--most importantly--limes to cut. I don't know what those limes had that I didn't, but they received a level of attention and commitment I could only dream of. Meanwhile, I watched other guests receive service while I sat there wondering whether I needed to submit a formal application to order lunch. As the lone Black woman dining by myself, the difference in attention was hard not to notice. I can't tell you what was in his head, but I can tell you what happened: other people were waited on, while another customer had to give me a menu and neither bartender bothered to take my food order. Eventually, I accepted that lunch was not part of my dining experience and left. One star for the drink. Five stars to the random customer who apparently recognized that restaurants traditionally provide menus and take food orders. And my sincerest congratulations to the limes--I hope they're very happy together.

The ambiance has a cozy coastal tavern feel which is a nice contrast to the rest of the hotel. Our group ordered both cocktails and mocktails and everyone enjoyed their drinks. It's nice that there are non-alcoholic options that aren't just soda or fruit juices. We started with 1/2 dozen west & east coast oysters, trout dip, & both the French onion and clam chowder soups. Everything was enjoyable. Was it the best I've had? No, but it still hit the spot. I agree with some other reviews that the bagel chips with the dip are a little on the dry side and not quite enough for the amount of dip, but no one seemed to mind. The dip was definitely more heavy on the cream cheese, but had good flavor. Our group loved the soups. The chowder being the standout. I will typically always order a FOS if it's on the menu and this one was pretty good. Nice Gruyère cheese and an oxtail broth. Also not the best I've had in Denver but one I'd order again. For entrees we got the lobster roll and the fish n chips. All enjoyable, but not worth the price in my opinion. The lobster roll was a bit small and for almost $50 that was a bit of a letdown. Enjoyable for sure, but wouldn't order again at that price point. The duck fat fries were good and we enjoyed them with the aioli. Brooke was our server and she was warm and attentive. Would dine in again, but would also make a few different choices next time.

This small pub/restaurant (and kid friendly) is located within the Palace Brown Hotel. The decor…read moreis nautical-themed and pretty cool. Frankly, the pictures online look a lot better than the place in person but it is still nicely decorated. We only wanted drinks and a smallish snack so we ordered the Smoked Trout Dip and "Bagel Chips." The dip was good (likely mostly made of cream cheese) but the bagel "chips" consisted of three halves of an everything bagel stuck in the dip. The bagel halves were so hard, you could easily chip your teeth on them. Honestly, we should have sent them back but I almost never do that anywhere. We sort of gnawed on them to make them softer and, in fairness, we cleaned the plate. For drinks, we tried a tiki-themed cocktail and a mocktail. Both were good. Our service was good. Parking can be a little difficult in this area but we found metered street parking about a block away. Watch your teeth if you see any bagels on your plate.
