Came here because I saw they had a current scone. I had one of those on a visit to Queena once and it was just an amazing flavor. The price was reasonable so I bought one. The place was very small inside but it had some space available to sit. They had other pastries I was intrigued to try, but didn't want my eyes getting bigger than my stomach. If it tastes anything like I remember, I'll make a return for more and with a follow up review. For now a thumb up for the friendly service and selections they have to offer. Happy Yelping!

Mannnnn these cookies are the Heaven Sent ! These cookies are bigger than my hands! I ordered the Ginger snap cookie I believe it's called. Whoah buddy was I in for a flavorful ride. The ginger is definitely in there. It reminds me of my childhood for some odd reason. I love the texture as well... It's firm but has a softness that makes it a little bendy and chewy. I've been here about 3 times and won't stop! I also got the iced coffee which was good as well. Check it out for yourself!

Iced latte with skim and Splenda is actually divine. Pricey but very cute, love their seating. Tons of pastries and food options. Always seems to be locals.

We stopped by The Muffins Cafe, lured in by the promise of baked goods and cozy vibes on Google Maps. While the staff was extremely friendly (seriously, gold stars for that), the assortment of items they had was pretty underwhelming. My friend went for an almond croissant, and I grabbed a large apple cider (since none of the pastries particularly excited me). The croissant looked like it had been through a tough week -- flattened and not exactly inspiring. My friend gave it a respectable 8/10 (he's nice) but made it clear it wasn't the best almond croissant he's had. As for my apple cider, well, it was definitely apple cider. Not much to report there. The kicker? The prices. Six bucks for that almond croissant felt a bit steep, especially for something that lacked the puff and pizzazz you'd expect at that price point. But hey, we're in Manhattan. Would I stop by again? Maybe, if I were in the area and needed a friendly smile. But for standout pastries or drinks, I'd probably look elsewhere. 3/5

This coffee shop is on the small side. I do not come here much but if I find myself in the area and I am hungry I may stop in. The staff was not the nicest but, maybe I caught them on an off day. In order to pay I have to be on my tippy toes since they have their card machine high up. I got a sesame bagel with butter. What a pretty tasteless NYC bagel this was! They also have some table and chairs indoors but it is kinda crammed in there. They do have cool decorations though. They have bagels hanging on the wall. And superman stuff too.

This is such a great spot. I went on a warm and sunny day and the vibes were perfect. Of course I had to get a muffin and it was super good. There's lots of seating both outside and inside. It can get a little busy, but not too crowded or where service is slow.

I went in at 4:45 on a Friday and the store had a weird smell to it. Like the burnt aspects of coffee, tea, and bread. They sell coffee and pastries. Do they do any of them spectacularly? No. I asked for a cortado and she asked, "small or large?" It was a bad omen I guess. The cortado was so-so. I tossed half of it. The corn muffin was edible. Prices are pretty good for the neighborhood. I like that they have a bench in front to sit and people watch. Give it a shot and then write your own review.

Everything that we got was good- brownie, espresso, loaf cake, cappuccino. Felt the pastries were a bit $$$. Some seating inside & outside.

I ordered an iced espresso and I was given a cold brew and charged 9 dollars for it because they called it a custom drink.

Amazing food options and great taste. I found this place over a year ago while visiting NY and every time I return I must visit it.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.
