I used to go to one of those "prestige" salons, but my nails were constantly popping off or breaking. I started thinking maybe it was me. I eventually took a break, but decided to give it one more shot--and I'm so glad I did. I found The Nail Collective and Cheyenne, and everything changed. Turns out, the problem wasn't me--it was poor prep and product quality at the other place. Cheyenne is incredible. She helped me transition from growing out my nails with Gel-X to a hard gel overlay, and her prep work is immaculate. She takes her time with a thorough dry manicure before doing any enhancements, which makes a huge difference. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 (I'm 42 now), and Cheyenne is the best tech I've ever had. Her French work is flawless, and on top of being insanely talented, she's also a genuinely lovely person. The salon itself has a great vibe--fun music, good shows playing, and a super positive, friendly team. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but the quality more than justifies it, and they're willing to work within your budget if needed. This place is a hidden gem. I spoke with Melissa and we never once had an occurrence of disrespect or being rude on either behalf. It seems as though you have mistaken our situation with another. Or simply trying to justify your choices regarding our review. Either way, thanks for the response. The real issue still persists, why would someone need nail polish repair within 24 hours of service and then a 2nd time 48 hours later. I started going here because a friend highly recommended it. The shop itself is really nice, clean, welcoming. Overall I do not like to give bad reviews but I have to be honest about my experience. I like my nail tech and things were going well. I get the hard gel manicure which takes quite a bit of time so I didn't mind paying for the service. What started to bother me was the recent "up charge" without justification. To give more context. I get one color, I don't change the shape, I don't get any designs. And I did EVERYTHING the tech asked. Come in every 3 weeks instead of 4 and she was asking am I hard on my nails-when it occurred to me that maybe they aren't curing properly to have so many "messed up nails". I work from home and I don't do anything crazy for my nails to be lifting EVERY TIME I get service. And one day they started charging me an additional $15 for something that could only be explained as filing my nails. I reached out to the owner ask if she could contact me and the manager of the store called and said she would only charge $15 if the client went more than four weeks between service or getting a reshape and she would investigate and she would get back to me. I had to cancel my appt because my nails were literally falling apart (I sent a picture) and needed to get them done right away. She NEVER reached back out to share her 'findings' after I canceled my appointment even though I expressed I still wanted to do business with them. And to add insult to injury when I spoke to my friend who gets the same service she said she only gets charged extra when she changes the shape of her nails or gets an added service. She CONSISTENTLY pays the same thing and she goes every three weeks and her nails last/no lifting. I'm just very disappointed in the inconsistency of the pricing and service provided. read more

I recently visited Brandy for a nail makeover and couldn't be happier with the results. Although I brought an inspiration photo, I wanted adjustments to match my black toenails--less length, different shape, and altered colors. Brandy worked her magic using gel and a special technique for the lines, making my nails look incredible, even better than the photo could capture. She was meticulous, taking the time to explain each step, suggesting Jax over the acrylic I've used for years, a choice that proved superior for my nail beds. Despite my tendency to chip or lift my nails within days, they've stayed solid well past the 72-hour mark this time. The salon, located about 25 minutes from my home on Rainbow near a freeway and behind a Burger King, is well worth the drive. It boasts an eclectic design with multiple nail stations, pedicure chairs, and private rooms for waxing and esthetician services, all under a super cute decor. I spent 5.5 hours at this establishment for mediocre work. The ladies working here never offered beverages despite the lengthy duration, and the establishment felt overall very cold. The 2-hour pedicure proved bare-bones with no massage included, cold water, and limited color options. Anywhere else is probably better than here. Save your time. Update: The owner's reply is a clear attempt to save face and filled with flat-out lies. Please disregard and recognize that it's a red flag when an owner responds to a customer's complaints in such an aggressive and untruthful manner (for example, we were never offered water, massage with pedicure, or shown the array of colors! They can improve listening skills. This review could have been avoided Today I went to this new nail spa, thinking, wow, this place has great ratings. I checkin, request the bougie pedicure with French style, but state NO GEL, it gives me ingrown toenails. They say, that's okay, enter my info on the tablet, and send me on my merry way. I begin my pedicure. I state the tech in conversation that I don't do gel polish, just regular because I get ingrown nails and that I'm a runner. We were talking about this for a few minutes too. I only do gel on my finger nails. More nodding in response. When she starts prepping my nails for polish, I noticed she brings out the UV lamp and swatches for gel. I remind her that I'm doing lacquer and she looks surprised and said there were no options for lacquer, only clear. What a surprise after we start the service! This is very irritating. If someone could have LISTENED there would be no miscommunication and I would have selected a different place for my needs. Very disappointed. Asked to speak with a manager and surprise! They say there are none there . I told the front desk that I had repeatedly asked for no gel and they denied that I said that. So I pay 45 for a base pedicure, no polish. They missed out on a full 80, but hey, guess that's no big. Look, I realize that I'm the ripe old age of 36 and living in the last century. Gel is just something I can't do for my toes. It hurts me. I wish I could do gel but I can't. And I really don't like being gaslighted about what I asked for. I think they weren't paying attention and decided to push that responsibility back onto me. It's been many years since I've gotten my nails done and I was referred here by a good friend (her nails are always *chef's kiss*). I am not disappointed. I love this place and Stephanie (also the owner) is absolutely amazing and I want no one else to touch my nails. The vibe of the shop is fun and relaxed and everyone is friendly. You will be spending some time to get your nails done (I get Gel X stilettos and it's around 2 hours) and you pay for what you get. The Nail Collective has been one of my favorite new businesses to find in 2021 - I have not had great luck with finding a solid nail tech in Vegas, only to find one last year and have her move. TNC came up for me on a Yelp search and is close to my work, and I have now had two great appointments with Ali B. Making an appointment is as easy as going to the website. Pricing is fair and transparent, as it's listed on their website when booking. Location is clean and has a fun style, complete with a neon sign for your nail-fie afterward. Service is great, offering drinks and friendly conversation. Though I've exclusively worked with Ali, all the techs here seem to be experienced and open to different styles of nail art - I like that I can come in here with a couple of photos and they can make it work. I always leave here loving my nails. The best part here though is the commitment to quality and attention to detail. Gels are removed via a sanding device rather than soaked, which is SO much better for your nails, and they use quality product (lots of Tammy Taylor) for consistent quality across all techs. With the techniques and products used here, my nails do not chip or lift or break and they are the healthiest they've ever been when consistently getting gel manis. read more

I've gone a few times so far and my nails turn out perfectly, exactly as I want them from pictures I show the nail techs! I have found that all of these ladies are extremely talented and have lots of clients individually, to me, that speaks volumes about the quality of work they do. A talented lady named Alexus did my nails the first couple of times I went and this last time I went to a lady named Christie did my nails. To be honest, I would go to any of these ladies because from what I've seen they all do amazing work! Had a great experience with Christie. This was my first time coming in to this shop and I honestly forgot to look for nail art ideas. I told Christie I was fine with whatever (because I actually am lol) and to do what she thought would look great and she did.
