The following review was posted on June 28, 2012 using the name of "Ivy B". I doubt there are many "Ivy B.'s" in Laguna Niguel, so I suspect this was a sham review using my name. I have never been to Ibiza Nails & Skin Care nor am I aware of anyone else who has gone there. I was not the author of that review. It is interesting to note that the review openly praises another salon in the same review. I have no opinion one way or the other on Ibiza Nails & Skin Care since I have never utilized their services. Since most of the other reviewers have posted positive comments for the salon, it is probably worth checking out for yourself! Ivy B. Laguna Niguel, CA 1.0 star rating 6/28/2012 I had the WORST experience in my entire life. I bought the groupon and when I went in to use it (after making an appointment) they stood there, rolled their eyes, and laughed at me. Literally laughed at me. I would NEVER EVER go in there again, and I am telling everyone I know to not waste their money in there. I'm going right back to my absolute favorite nail salon Sunny Nails. They put me in what I call "The groupon chair" which was about 6 seats over from everyone else under the air conditioning and next to the open back door, which I had the enjoyment of listening to screaming children from the daycare next door the entire time. Relaxing right? Oh did I mention that the manicurist PULLED my own headphones out of my ear. My music wasn't even on yet and she yanked it out of my ear without even asking first. I was appalled. The so called "customer service" was horrible. The girl who was doing my manicure didn't even know how to remove silk wrap acrylics. Really? I could have done that myself if I knew she didn't know how to remove them. So she shouted across the salon to ask another 3 women how to do it until someone else came over and YANKED them off of me. Talk about people starring at me. The "European pedicure" was basically an exfoliating scrub, and then a "warm towel" that was not steamed warm, but dipped in luke warm water from my foot soaking tub. Yum. Then a 2 minute massage, not even 2 minutes each leg, 2 minutes total.. Then the manicurist painted one nail and got up to go talk to the owner or manager for 5 minutes while I sat there. Then while my hands were in the UV ray machines she got up to get some food and the machines turned off and she looked at me and turned away to make a phone call. Then she finished off with squirting lotion on my arm, doing one rub and saying "you're done." Then she "gladly" shoved my sandals on my feet without even taking the paper towel out from in between my toes. This was a birthday gift and I was hoping to have a relaxing time which sure didn't happen. read more

I always have a great experience at this nail salon and felt a review is worth sharing. From the moment you walk in, it's relaxing and peaceful. The salon is kept clean, organized, and very welcoming. It's well-maintained, with sanitized tools, spotless workstations, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is professional and genuinely friendly. I don't feel rushed at any point, and they take the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood what I wanted. It's not always easy to find a place that balances efficiency with great customer care. I especially want to highlight one nail artist, Kaia, who truly impresses me at each appointment. Kaia is incredibly talented and detail-oriented, taking her time to shape and design my nails exactly how I envisioned and sometimes by surprise as I trust her to do what she does so well. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it shows in the precision and creativity of the final result. On top of that, she is kind easy to talk to, gentle when giving nail care. Overall, this salon exceeds my expectations in professionalism, cleanliness, and friendliness. I too went to this salon because it was close to my home but the service is really bad and I've given them 3 chances. Not only do I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes after my appointment time for service but the girl I use "Susan" constantly jabbers in Vietnamese about the customers to her coworkers and not in a nice way ( I speak Vietnamese) and is distracted constantly by the goings on of the salon so her work isn't too good. The fact that they don't give a damn about the clientele is clear in spite of those fake Sweetie and Honey names they call you! My advise? STAY AWAY! read more

A-okay review for this nail salon. I have been coming here for a few years now. I am welcomed into the salon and don't have to wait very long for my technician. I wish the salon was sometimes quieter - I don't like when people visit and talk loudly on their cell phones. It's annoying. I bring my own polish as they don't have a huge selection, but that's okay with me. I like using the same color anyway. Prices are reasonable but I only get a regular mani and pedi. I recommend this salon. read more

The quality of care and products used are ten out of ten. I buy several gift certificates annually because that is what my friends and family want. Very clean environment and relaxing!!!! I have been going here for quite a while. Their pedicures are great and one of the girls spends extra time on my ingrown nails. I wish they would more consistently play music and chat less. Another thing... I wish that they would give me coupons on a more regular basis. Even $5 off would be nice. I spend a lot of money here and customer loyalty would go a long way. read more
