Came here for a quick bite to eat while on the road. Food: -Chicago Style Calzone: 4/5, Lovely crust, light and crispy, Very large size., Filling of multiple cheeses and tomatos and basil. The tomatos and basil were very good. Cheese portion was also good. Could use with a little more salt in the filling. Otherwise it was solid. read more

we welcomed in 2021 around a bonfire and Tuscanos. We had margherita pizza with red sauce, chicken wings, zucchini sticks and my favorite. The linguini pescatore fra diavolo. A bunch of squid, mounds of extra large shrimp and clams that seem so fresh. The staff is super sweet and friendly and really takes care of yeah. Very unsatisfying experience here tonight with delivery. Disappointing especially because last summer when visiting the area we had an excellent experience and we're excited to have their pizza again. Called several hours early for a delivery time to coincide with our hosts' timing. Had to phone in the order because their online ordering system is not great, particularly with the gluten free options, which are hard to make work with their preexisting pizzas. Anyway, the delivery was quite late. Had to call them to check where our pizzas were, they hadn't taken our phone number with the initial order. They also didn't ask for our phone number when we called them to find out where our pizzas were. The others in our group who had ordered separately had received their pies yet ours were still MIA. When pizzas finally arrived, they were not hot and they were not very good. The two gluten free pies were actually quite bad. Overcooked and not good. The veggie pie was decent, but the crust was kind of hard and the pie was luke warm. Our first experience had been so good I might give this place another shot but I might be more inclined to try another place altogether. read more

Placed my order today (11/19/21) at 630pm for large cheese pizza, small pepperoni pizza, two appetizers and one chicken scarpariello. Called 3 times to check where order was and kept getting "10 more mins". Total $101.41 and no food ever arrived but they charged my credit card. I ordered a grilled cheese and fries from here. The grilled cheese was horrible! How do you mess up on grilled cheese? I'll tell you how... The bread was drenched in butter. The bread was soggy. The odd thing they did was doubled the bread on my grilled cheese (idiots) so the middle part of the bread was just soggy white bread. They used cheap cheese and bacon bits. Just unbelievable. Looking for some five dollar a roll crappy paper towel. Same quality as the $.99 rolls at the grocery store I suggest going to this place. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. You would think a pizza place that does mostly take out and delivery would be able to thrive at a time like this but to be like that tells me a little bit about them. I'm not giving them my money anymore and neither should you unless of course you run out of toilet paper and they're the only game in town!!! I have ordered from Toscano Pizzeria via grubhub multiple times and the food was always decent. Today I spent $55 on dinner for my family. My baked manicotti was dried out, burnt on the bottom and stuck to the foil container. It was also extremely salty. I also ordered a side of sausage, and it too was over cooked, dried out and overly salty. My wife ordered gluten free penne caprice and it too was over cooked, over salted, and contained the same dried out burnt sausage. The gorgonzola bruschetta appetizer was also terrible, and was not at all as described on the menu. What makes it even worse is that I paid in cash and tipped the driver 5 bucks for being earlier than expected. After I posted this review I was contacted by the Manager and he offered to make the entire order again. I took him up on it and it was definitely much better, though the baked manicotti was a bit on the salty side for my taste. My family enjoyed their second meal. read more

I didn't like the pizza at all, the crust was just crust not much taste at all, the sauce isn't bad but it was hard to enjoy it because of the crust and the fake cheese they use, you can tell if the cheese is made from real milk or oil by how much grease builds on top your pizza, plus you will taste the real cheese. The Salad was fresh but the toppings they offer are to expensive, a reg house salad could cost you $20 bucks depending on what you add on it.. You should see what Matt E. Very disappointed, overall the meal was decent but a person in our group ordered gluten free pasta with meatballs and proceeded to find multiple foreign strings (possibly plastic) in her food. I love the pizza here, it is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm craving pizza. Their salads are always great too with nice fresh lettuce (mixed greens, not just iceberg!). I have also tried their chicken parmesan dinner and liked it a lot. I ordered the Chicken Marsala today, and I have to say I was disappointed - it was just not good. Didn't get any flavor from the marsala wine or the mushrooms, and they had put some kind of thin strips of beef in the sauce which just tasted weird. Just stay away from that dish and you should be fine. Overall, great place and I wish it was closer to home, not just work for me so I could regulary order pizza from here on our pizza nights! read more

I just ordered the arugula salad pizza and garlic knots and they were not good at all. The arugula salad pizza had maybe 4 tiny slivers of prosciutto and the arugula was soggy. The garlic knots has absolutely no flavor. It was just break. There wasn't any garlic on them. read more

This place is great! I have yet to visit their actual restaurant but with free/incredibly cheap delivery why would you leave your couch! I live in Westport and none of the pizzerias around here have really been so wonderful to make a weekly habit. This place is tho! Reliable, consistent take out options. Delicious chicken fingers, especially with the honey mustard sauce. Nice chopped salad and wraps too. We must order from here once a week. Only issue is sometimes orders get mixed up. You can order online to avoid any issues. read more

When it comes to pizza people usually pick a favorite place to go. Tuscano Pizza in Southport is our family's favorite place! It is a family business and the guys that work there are always very friendly and the service is excellent. The pizza is delicious! Not too salty, which is what I find in other pizza places, great crust and sauce. The other items on the menu are great too. And they sent the wrong dressing for the salad. I sent them an e-mail letting them know I wasn't satisfied. The manager contacted me the next day and completely redid the order at "no charge"! I called and ordered a pizza from Toscano to pick up. The guy who answered the phone told me 20-25 minutes. I got held up a bit and arrived 40 minutes later, expecting my pizza to be waiting for me. When I got there the guy seemed surprised ... then told me they'd been really busy and it would "just be a couple more minutes." A "couple more minutes" later, while I was still waiting ... he admitted they forgot my order and hadn't even put it in the oven yet. He offered a discount ... but how do you forget an order when your business is take out and delivery? I walked out ... and won't order from here again. read more

FANTASTIC pizza / sandwich spot that is one of the only family businesses in the area. Open till 11 on weekdays ! I asked for a broccoli rabe pizza and found, much to my delight, fresh mozz and sausage on it! All of which cooked perfectly. The staff and owners are very friendly and the owner cooks the pizzas himself so you know that every pizza gets a final inspection for excellence.
