They gave a nice amount of food although I feel like they could've put a little more cream cheese on the bagel. Messed up and the wife was mad at me this morning so I decided to order in brunch to surprise her. The food was wonderful! The portions were huge and I love that everything I ordered came with it's own side even the waffle pops and the beignets which really made the value worth it. And the Lolly Waffles were.... entertaining to say the least and wonderfully tasty (chocolate chip no fancy extras) but the Beignets were out of this world good. My lox croissant was fantastic, the tater tots and pasta salad were just right. My Partner is a vegetarian and all her food was clearly safe and not contaminated. OH and the Earl Grey tea with lavander was perfectly sweetened and so so wonderful. 10/10 will order brunch again soon. Also I'm not in trouble anymore ;). read more

Came here for the first time this weekend. I was so happy to see that they had Batdorf and Bronson coffee! There is only outdoor seating available but there are umbrellas at each table for shade. I would also note that while there was hand sanitizer at the front table many staff members were not wearing mask. I ordered the chicken pesto panini with a side salad and tator-tots. The Panini wasn't really pressed and was not warm. There was barely any chicken inside. I was disappointed with my panini but the side salad and tots were good! (This place has great salad dressings!) My freind ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich which looked hearty and she said tasted great. I would definitely come back here for brunch and try a different sandwich. My head was already won over by the amazing coffee! read more

We came here for brunch today (Sunday) and were very happy with our experience. Be prepared to wait a bit in line, and for your food as it seemed to be pretty busy. Happened to visit the Nest Cafe on a Saturday morning after browsing the Farmers Market across the street. I enjoyed its very relaxing, casual vibe. There is a nice menu choices with options to swap the sides (i.e. fruits) with a small cost. Both smoothies and coffee are very great drink options. I really enjoy my tater tots sides. My omelette is good, but really not out-of-the world. Next visit, I'd really love to try the waffle lollipops. Heard they are the true gem at this place! read more

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday and the place was pretty busy. I got in line and ordered within 5 minutes. I got my number and the turnover was rapid enough that I was able to get a table that was a half booth in the corner for our party of three. Our food came out within 5 minutes as well. We got the Beignets and a Southern Style sandwich. Both were excellent. the Beignets were soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of sugar. the chocolate dipping sauce was a nice touch, very thick. As for the sandwich, it was good as well, although it had a little too much spicy mayo for my liking. The croissant was fluffy and soft as well and the egg was real! We'll be back. read more

I ordered the Nest Salad. It was ok. It's a salad. There was really nothing special about it. I did have it to go and the 'protein' was put in a separate box. 1-The salad was huge, a whole meal in itself 2-There really wasn't enough dressing 3-The greens were large and long. They needed to be cut but there were no plastic knives in the bag. 4-The protein was also not cut, and again, no knife 5-The lemonade was ok, kind of bland. It didn't have the zip of lemons and it didn't have the sweetness of sugar. Friends ordered California Croissant and Panini. They said their's were really good. When we first transitioned to the area, my family ate at this restaurant every day for a week. We tried a wide range of foods and nothing disappointed us. My kids had the pancakes and beignets.....delicious. I tried several sandwiches, and all of them were delicious. It's a really small restaurant with not a lot of seating area inside; however they do have an outdoor dining area. The service is fast and the staff is polite. We were asked to leave after we finished our coffee and breakfast to accommodate two people standing inside the cafe but they had not even ordered. It is a walk up and order place. What was odd was that waiting for a few minutes is expected in Alpharetta and always happens to us when we eat in that area so why they made a fuss over two people waiting is so not necessary. Other tables had been there longer than our 30 Mins but a server came over to us and said they needed that table? It was very inconsiderate to interrupt us, esp because it is not like we were there any longer than people At other tables. We can take our 70.00 to another business the next time. Nice brunch spot! There was no way to make reservations but this spot is FCFS. We waited in line and relatively quickly made it to the front. After ordering, we made our way to a table ( table space is at a premium). I ordered the White mocha and my wife ordered the strawberry mocha. You can tell from first sip, the great coffee used here! WOW! We ordered banana walnut pancakes, lolliwaffles, honey french toast, beignets, tater tots, eggs, sausage and bacon. The pancakes were made from scratch and cooked perfectly. The banana and walnuts were a bit of an afterthought and nothing to elevate the dish. I would definitely get the blueberry pancakes next time. The tater tots were very good and came in a mini fry basket. The beignets were excellent also served in the cute fry basket. My son loved the chocolate chip lolliwaffles ( waffles on a stick), and his eggs and sausage. The wife had the French Toast and said it was good but the bread choice should have been different. The baguette was a bit tough for her liking but the taste was still very good. We had a beautiful outdoor celebration here. It's a first come, first served situation. We had a group of 7 so we found seating and then headed into order. You get a number and they bring the food out to you. I got a sandwich wrap with a gluten free wrap so good and the tater tots and fries are cooked in a separated fryer from breaded items so could have the tater tots, yum! They were light and crispy and the wrap was so good. I got a dirty chai tea latte which was amazing. They add a shot of Expresso to the chai tea! Everyone else enjoyed their food too. Quite a few in our party had the basic breakfast (sorry forgot the name on menu) which is bacon, eggs and toast. Others had the croissant sandwich and the beignets, which looked so good. The fruit cup was a combo of many fruits and plenty of pineapple. The inside has only a few tables but lots of seating outside. Dogs are allowed outside. It is in a quaint part of Alpharetta and close to Main Street with all the boutiques and stores. So glad we found this little gem through Yelp! read more

Orders are placed at the counter here and numbers are given out for the staff to run the food out to your table of choice. There is a little station with a choosing of salt, pepper, a couple different hot sauces, and you can grab a cup of water. My friend ordered egg & cheese croissant sandwich with ham and a side of fruit. The fruit was sour and not fresh at all, but she says her sandwich was good. I got the Fresh Garden Croissant sandwich. The sandwich was to be made with eggs, provolone, tomato, field greens, and chipotle mayo. I got this served with tater tots. The tater tots themselves were good, no complaints. The croissant for the sandwich was wimpy and cut with too much croissant on the top and almost no croissant on the bottom. It felt like I was holding the egg instead of the bread. There was no favor on the sandwich whatsoever and the promised chipotle mayo was nowhere to be found. I grabbed salt & pepper as well as cholula to help the situation. All in all, get a lunch item or a smoothie, but skip their breakfast offering. read more

I came to the nest cafe with two other friends for brunch on a busy Sunday morning. My friends and I sat outside since there was no more indoor seating. It was drizzling a bit outside but I'm glad there were umbrellas over the tables. The line was pretty long to order food but it went by pretty quickly. I ordered a breakfast plate for myself and placed a to go order: southern style croissant sandwich. The breakfast plate came with your choice of toast, a sausage patty, bacon, eggs, and your choice of a side. I chose tater tots as my side. The plate was pretty standard. Similar quality as complimentary hotel breakfast. I think it was left out for a bit because the bacon and eggs were room temperature when I received my plate. I wish I could have changed my eggs to be sunny side up but the cashier insisted that they only do one style: scrambled. Im not sure if its because they strictly adhere to their menu or if its because they use an egg mixture instead of real eggs. Thankfully, the eggs were fluffy and the bacon was also pretty good but the sausage patty was the only thing that was dry. The tater tots were definitely the best part of the meal. They had great flavor and texture. The southern style sandwich was slightly below my expectations. It's a croissant with fried chicken, chipotle Mayo, pickles, and scrambled eggs. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that they used chicken tenders instead of chicken breast. This made the sandwich feel pretty low quality... especially when compared to the flavor, texture, and pricing of a Chick-fil-A sandwich. I have a feeling that the manager might respond to this post suggesting I try their California croissant or their Lolly waffles instead. Sure, I will try them but why not bring the other items up to the same standard as well? Overall, average food and semi-ok service. I stopped by here with some friends on a Saturday around 11:30 am. A lot of people mention parking, but it honestly wasn't too bad. I ended up parking in the retail parking which is under a few buildings down the strip and accessible from the back. It was pretty crazy busy, which I did expect with how popular the reviews were. The dining room is SMALL. I think there were maybe 9-10 tables inside with quite a few more outside. We were thankfully able to grab and indoor table while we were in line to order our food. Just know that you have to be alert and looking for a table while you're ordering. Overall, the staff was super kind and we didn't have to wait too long to order or receive our food. Our table had the chocolate chip lollipops waffles, California club panini, and the chicken caesar wrap. The chocolate chip lollys were absolutely delicious! Super soft on the inside. The California club was okay- it ended up being kind of a mess. It kept dripping all over the plate and my shirt, so definitely don't order this if you want to stay clean. I was off work, so my boyfriend and I decided to go have a date brunch somewhere. I saw the lolli waffles, and had to try them. We sat outside, and basically you go inside and order and then they bring your food to you. Wish someone had told us that, because we finally asked where the server was about 15 minutes after sitting outside. Unfortunately every table does not have an umbrella, and so it got a bit hot out there, plus my boyfriend hates to be in the sun. But it was packed, so we had to do with what we had. We ordered the blueberry lolli waffles, along with a white chocolate latte, and I got a breakfast wrap with chipotle. He got some waffle fries and a panini. Somehow he wasn't very impressed with his food. The latte I have to say really didn't have much white chocolate flavor and wasn't very sweet. The lolli waffles were really subpar, a little soggy, and way overrated over than looking cute. My wrap came out wrong, but by the time I was able to tell someone I had eaten half of it only because I was starving, but was missing egg and avocado. They said they would not bring me a new one, because I ate half, so they brought out a side of egg, cheese, and a little avocado. I didn't think that was the greatest customer service. I really felt they could have brought me out a fresh half wrap at the very least, but anyway. It was a decent wrap once the egg and avo came out. I think it's a little pricey, especially the waffles, and felt the food and service was a bit disappointing. My boyfriend rated it even less stars than me, so I guess we won't be back. read more

Man this place is so popular, just had to try it out! It gets really crowded here since it is a small space so come early. We came around 11 and it was not so bad, as soon As we sat down at a table though a horde of people came in and were watching you like a hawk to see when you were finished eating lol! Management should rearrange the furniture to try to make room for a couple more tables. The food, oh boy! It was so delicious specially the tater tots. The beignets were ok though... they were more like fried donuts with a little bit of powdered sugar on them. Quality of the food is beyond exceptional! They give you the right amount of food. The pancakes were so fluffy but they don't provide enough syrup, you can always ask for more though. So I originally came to this restaurant because it is right by my job & I was looking for a breakfast place that had healthier. What I like about it is that they have healthy, semi healthy, and the delicious unhealthy options. They're only open until 3, but they serve breakfast and lunch all day. There isn't too much seating inside, but it's designed to be a quaint restaurant and there is also more seating outside. I decided to try the egg & cheese croissant sandwich. It came with a side of fruit (strawberries, pineapple, grapes, & blueberries) and it tasted fresh, which was a plus. The croissant sandwich was good too. Pricing is a bit on the higher side, but it's in Alpharetta and it's not a chain restaurant, so I guess that's expected. I had The Nest on my list of places to try and our usual breakfast place was closed so we went for it. I got the Breakfast Plate which includes bacon, eggs, a sausage patty and toast. I got some extra bacon as a side. And I added a stack of pancakes, which were nice and fluffy. We both noticed that the eggs were these ribbon-like strips of egg. Unusual, but tasted just fine. I may a friend for coffee at the Nest on Friday at 10 am. Business was booming and every table was full with a large teenage birthday party making up 12 girls. My impression is that the Nest needs to invest in some management training. There was a long wait to order, long wait to receive coffee and it when it arrived it was not warm. Both of us wanted to replace it but unwilling to wait in another long line. A very poor experience, lack of management control and attention seems to be the root problem.
