I need to understand why this place has limited hours. I've been wanting to try this place for the past year but couldn't because of work. Finally got to try their roast beef and mortadella sandwiches today. These sandwiches are hefty! The roast beef was tender and paired well with the peppers. The mortadella was a bit salty than I'd like, but the pesto cut through the salt. Overall, they need extended hours for everyone who doesn't work in that office building!

So this place has been on my radar for quite awhile but I knew it would be hard to find. Today I finally committed to wandering around in the parking lot until I found The New Yorker Deli. It's pretty much at the end of the street on the left side. Yelp Directions had me stooping at the 2840 lot but it's farther to 2945. The parking lot in front of the New Yorker is actually blocked as you need a badge to raise the barrier. Fortunately the New Yorker is right across from the parking barriers so just park outside of the barrier. The chalk boards inside are overwhelming so grab a printed menu and observe all the deli yummies they have to offer. I tried the following: Roast beef mozzarella egg aioli BF sando $7.50 delicious but could use more sauce. Mawin chopped sando scrumptious sort of like a bacon cheeseburger $12.50 Pastrami King stacked high like all the photos and delicious $19. The New Yorker is the definition of a hidden gem but well worth the journey.

Needed to find lunch and YELPED!! This New Yorker deli , being from Yonkers nY myself had to check it out . So glad I did , the service was pleasantly friendly and the menu is huge . I got a sandwich named Yonkers and it's hot bbq chicken w/ bacon , bbq sauce, lettuce and tomato . The sandwich is HUGE mad worth every nickel(pennies not made anymore lol) If you find the location it's in an executive building around back and is very welcoming and nice outside seating as well as indoor seating. It's a MUST try as the cold cuts are Boar's head brand (true New Yorkers favorite) Next time I visit I will be having a Cubano

A few of my colleagues and I stopped in at The New Yorker Deli and we were impressed. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but the portion sizes definitely make it worth it. The sandwiches are huge! Honestly, if I had known they were going to be that big, I probably would've just shared one. They also have outdoor seating, which was perfect since it was such a beautiful day when we went. We took full advantage of it and enjoyed our lunch outside. The girl at the front who took our order was very friendly, and she even brought our sandwiches out to us while we waited. Great service and great food. Definitely a spot worth trying!

A taste of New York! If you want tasty, fresh, fully loaded meat of your choice, this is the place for you. I stumbled on this deli, wow, what a gold mine. I went back 2 more times in one week, this was one of the best sandwiches I ever tasted. Tremendously delicious! A bite hidden in a Business center, however, tons of parking available. Be prepared to taste goodness that melts in your mouth, just trust me on this one!

First off, their sandwiches are huge. Worth the price. I only ate half of my sandwich and didn't each again for nearly 8-9 hours. The service was friendly. Once I arrived there was one person in front of me but a few more arrived shortly after me. Inside is decent. Maybe about 20-30ppl can be seated. I tried the Albany. Very flavorful but the sauce used kind of threw me off. I will be back to try more options. I also tried the OG chopped cheese. Quality ingredients but the sauce also threw me off.

My new fave sandwich spot!!! Can't wait to come back and try all the other options. My hot sandwich, the Gramercy, was delicious. Perfect size- big enough to share. The chicken was moist. The bread was tasty and held up well. Then the service! Amazing! Staff was accommodating, even gave our dog treats, and owners checked in on us and everything. Love the New York ambiance , felt like I was in NY! Outside there's ample seating under shaded trees. I did go in the morning to avoid the crowds during the afternoon rush. Not too hard to find- drive in past the fountain and all the way to the end and it's on your left! Can't wait to be back- probably tomorrow!

The New Yorker deli is a small place located in a commercial building. As we entered we felt like we were in New York City. We were greeted as we entered and served pretty quickly. The food was delicious. I would eat here again. You're missing out if you don't. The menu definitely has something for everyone.

This deli is hard to find. It's located in the back of a large office complex. There are a few signs toward the back that direct you to this hidden gem. They are open Monday thru Thursday only. Once inside you are greeted immediately by a very friendly person. The counter and walls have all kinds of signage that give you that new york deli vibe. There is a small amount of seating inside and outside. They have a sign inside that let's you know all orders are made to order so it could take 15 mins to receive your food. The place is clean and bright. The menu is huge. I ordered a king pastrami. Orders include a pickle and side of macaroni salad. They pile on the meats so you can easily share your sandwich or have it for a second meal. My favorite sandwich is pastrami and I love that they shave it. My sandwich was delicious. I recommend that you try this excellent new york deli, if you can find it.

As a huge fan of Katz's Deli in New York, every pastrami sandwich inevitably gets measured against theirs. The New Yorker Deli is the closest I've come outside of New York--so close in fact, that it's now my #1 choice simply because I don't need to book a flight to New York to enjoy an excellent pastrami. The bread was toasted perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft inside--and the pastrami itself was ultra tender and rich with flavor. Their Pastrami absolutely holds its own against the best. I also tried the chicken salad, which was equally impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the balance of flavors worked really well together. Even though I ordered takeout, the service was fast, the restaurant was spotless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail, quality, and customer care really sets them apart. If you're craving a true New York-style deli experience without the trip, The New Yorker Deli is a must-visit. FYI, the restaurant is in an office complex. Don't let that fool you, if you do you miss a treat. Hint: The restaurant is on the right side of the building. If you come into the complex and turn left to park, know that you'll have a nice walk.

Bowery, one of best sandwiches I have had in a long time, 12/10 recommend!!!

Found this spot on Yelp and it was a bit confusing to find due to being in an office building, but was worth the trouble! I got the Nolita and it was delicious! The portion was huge and one of the best sandwiches I've had!

This sandwich spot was amazing! So many different choices. Customer service was great! The inside was actually bigger than I expected! Can't wait to go back.

Nope, there are not. Just stopped in today (6/1/26). Only GF menu items are salads.

My body almost turned me around immediately, but I was sooo hungry and it was almost 3pm and I hadn't eaten all day. But the place was really really dirty, there was leaking water on the floor in front of the many potato chips near the cash register. I watched a little girl (unknowingly) dance around in it and prayed she didn't slip. Anyway, I ordered the tritip plate with double potato salad. The tritip was "ok" it was sliced super thin. And so it wasn't tough or anything. Not necessarily how I like it sliced, but ok. The sauce was pretty good. The potato salad was super bland. Only thing that was delicious was the slice of German chocolate cake that I got from an outside vendor called "Terri Does Dessert". THAT was super good! But yeah, this place. I don't know. I don't think they would pass a health inspection.

My to-go order is the Hornet on a Dutch crunch roll with everything on it except mustard. Make it a combo with chips and a drink, and you'll have an incredible lunch. The ambiance is different from other sandwich spots in midtown. The chairs and tables are older and worn, and it's small inside, but it's also inside an old house that was converted into a restaurant. That alone makes this place unique. People hang out inside or outside with friends and enjoy the vibes. There's a real sense of community that the Sandwich Spot brings along with uniquely crafted sandwiches. The restaurant is in a really cool old Victorian house, and the staff were super friendly. The interior was clean and looked like a nice place to dine in, but I ended up taking my order to go. I ordered the #19 with turkey, prosciutto, avocado, and swiss on a dutch crunch roll. The bread had just gone into the oven, so we had to wait about 10 minutes, but I can't complain because it was baked fresh to order. Overall, I thought the sandwich was very good, but honestly not quite as amazing as people online had made it out to be. It was definitely good, but I don't know if I'd be dying to go back when I think Ike's, Mr. Pickle's, Corti Bros, and maybe even Nugget or Sprouts make more interesting sandwiches. To me, those places use slightly higher quality ingredients as well, though maybe I just didn't order the best sandwich here. Overall, it was a good sandwich and a good experience. My expectations were probably just a little too high. I wouldn't be dying to come back but also wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go there for lunch.

For those living in the neighborhood this is such a convenient spot. This is a smaller grocery store so you won't be able to find everything, but what they do have is plenty. There's fresh produce, wine, beer, shelf stable items essential to everyday recipes, and where they really shine is their deli and butcher area. They also have some prepared items like desserts, salads, dressings, pickles, dips, and more. On my latest visit I ended up ordering their Italian Hero ($11.99) from the deli counter, and picked up some of their pickles and house made caesar dressing. Everything was high quality and I loved that they have these options available. The Caesar dressing is delicious and I'll definitely be stopping in again for more. I've been using it on salads since picking it up. It had a good amount of parmesan cheese so The pickles have a very unique flavor, they're definitely tasty but not my favorite version of Dill Pickles- they are more tangy and zingy that traditional dill pickles, not bad just not what I expected. (I was thinking more kosher dill, like Claussen pickles or like the pickles you'd get at a Jewish deli). The sandwich was the star of the show, for $11.99 it was HUGE, the Italian Hero comes with prosciutto, mortadella, salami, roasted red bell pepper, and provolone- all sandwiches also come with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and pepperoncini. The combination of ingredients on Dutch Crunch bread was amazing and I think having roasted red peppers as an option is underrated, it elevates a sandwich so much. While I wouldn't do my normal shopping here, I would absolutely come for specialty items or pick up needed items for convenience. I'll be back again soon!
