10/10. The location is perfect on k street and the inside is gorgeous. They didn't skip on the aesthetics. Bathroom is super clean as well as the whole location. I felt super cozy inside and the staff was hella nice. I got a Gami double burger with Bacon and it was perfect (very large burger) but not overwhelming with toppings (I hate those big burgers that are taller than wider which this wasn't). The curly fries and waffle fries were to die for. I saw they had milkshakes when I was leaving and will need to come back and try.

This place is amazing !! Burgers are so juicy and fresh. Ordering is à la carte . Gami sauce on the burger is so good but the pickles ... Spicy and tangy . I could eat my weight in pickles. Waffle fries are seasoned perfect with herbs. The shoestring fries are crispy and salty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a must try if you want a great burger.

Had the BBQ Ribeye Burger. It was pretty good. This location is closer to home but the atmosphere here isn't as chill as the Carmichael location. Limited indoor seating only - like 5 tables. Definitely built for takeout. Loud music and staff was more interested in their own conversations than with us, the customers. Next time I'll drive to Carmichael!

Gami burger was one of the first places my fiance and I tried together for a burger since I transitioned to eating meat again and it was def a special experience The double cheese burger was juicy and the gami sauce is amazing. I really love the onion rings as well-thick and crispy. Its nice to see them open up a second spot in midtown. Even though I don't tend to eat a lot of burgers this is def a go to place for one! The owner i believe also owns concept coffee (i think?) If so his baked goods are also something special !

When I heard Gami was opening a midtown location, I was ecstatic. I loved the Carmichael one and was only deprived of going there often due to my drive from downtown. The midtown location is just as good!! Been here a few times now and everything has been equally stellar each time: food quality, portion size (spoiler: huge), speediness coming out, and really chill and nice staff. Today I got the Royale with Cheese special, waffle fries, and some of the nice cold (free) water they have set out for all. The beef patty was a 6oz wagyu and I couldn't finish it, but took the last few bites to-go because it was THAT good. Great outdoor seating too!

Gami was pretty hyped up in the sac food scene so I was excited to try it out with the new midtown location. Double cheeseburger: B Solid burger, the patties are thin almost like a smashburger thickness so I'd recommend a triple. I believe you can customize the sauce too so I tried their house sauce but thought their wasabi aioli is better. Curly fries: A Fantastic curly fries, very crisp and very well seasoned. Tastes great even without any dipping sauce. Wasabi aioli: A+ I'm in love with this sauce and it works perfectly as a dip for fries and as a sauce on the burger. Highly recommend trying this one out!

Had marked this as a want to try place. Not too far from the place I was at so made the trek. Well it's pretty much street parking so had to park a few blocks away. The girl at the register was helpful. I ordered a single burger and fries. They do not have combos. The place is small with a few tables to sit at. My complaint is tgat the the two customers ahead of me go their food brought to them but I had to go pick mine up. The person that ordered after me also go their food delivered. The burger was okay with a difference is being sunomono cucumbers so more on the sweet side. The onion rings were tempura style but batter was too thick for me.

Loved checking out their original location and I was so excited to have one closer to me in Midtown. We stopped by while exploring Midtown on a Saturday afternoon and since we had our dog with us I grabbed a table outside while my husband popped in to order. I had been telling him about this spot and was so excited for him to give it a try. Originally we were going to share a burger and keep walking around, but when he saw the menu he decided we were each getting a full sandwich. He ordered us the Single Gami Burger and the Pastrami Sandwich and we shared both. At first he was wary of the house made pickles because he prefers dill and doesn't like sweet pickles but their house made pickles won him over, especially on the sandwiches. Both sandwiches were delicious, but we loved the pastrami sandwich and would maybe even try a burger patty with pastrami on top on a future visit. Their house sauce is also very good. On top of burgers they also offer hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, an Ahi Tuna sandwich, kid friendly items, salads and sides. The location at K and 23 is great and inside is modern and welcoming. There are some tables outside as well. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

First time here and already planning a return trip. We stopped in on a Thursday night around 7 p.m. before a Kings game, and it was a bit busy. The space itself is pretty small with limited seating, but there are a few bar-style seats and some extra chairs available that we figured we could grab if needed. Luckily, the timing worked in our favor and a table opened up just as we were got our food. Ordering can done through tablets, but since it was our first visit and we had plenty of questions about the menu, it was nice that there was still a counter option. The cashiers were super courteous and helpful while we asked about everything, which added to our experience. I ordered a single cheeseburger with onions and mayo and added NY cheddar, although I'm pretty sure the American cheese that normally comes on it was missed. Even with that small mix-up, the burger and the waffle fries were both fantastic and packed with flavor. We also grabbed a side of the wasabi sauce for the fries and holy moly... I did not expect it to be as good as it was, but it was seriously delicious and something we'll absolutely order again next time. I also tried to get the butter brickle milkshake, which sounded incredible, but unfortunately they were out that night. Definitely putting that at the top of the list for the next visit. This place is high on the list for best burgers!

Couldn't be happier that there's a location in midtown now. The burgers and fries are fresh and made with quality ingredients. I love that all of the fries have different seasonings so you can mix it up. The new location is smaller than the fair oaks one but it is clean, modern, and easy to order. The employees are kind and will check on you even though it's order at the counter and self service. Honestly nothing on this menu is a miss. All the items are unique in their own way.

I've been to the original Gami Burger location before so I was excited to hear that they opened one up closer to me. This part of K street is pretty busy but it's a great location since it's close to the Golden Bear and the beer garden. I believe it used to be a Burger Patch before. I came here on a Thursday night and it was relatively busy but the tables open up pretty quickly. It's definitely smaller than their Arden location. You can order at the counter or at the kiosks (there's two). Pros: our food came out quickly after ordering. I ordered a double patty burger with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Waffle fries were good. Food is on the pricier side. Cons: parking can be hard to find since it is located downtown.

Wow! Let's start over WOW! A friend recently told us about Gami Burger and last night we gave them a shot at the midtown location. Definitely, unassuming as you walk in though we were greeted by an enthusiastic staffer. The menu can be overwhelming so ask for suggestions. We settled on the Royal, a special burger with the works and an ahi tuna burger with special coleslaw and avocado smash. Both were delicious! For sides we went sweet potato fries and waffle fries. Both cooked and salted perfectly. The sweets were - yes- sweet and a bit spicy, and love the thin and crispy texture. Seriously dear readers this is the best burger place in Sacramento and I'd bet top ten in Cali. Enjoy!!

Solid smash burger with some of the best waffle fries. Yum! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Service was great and the food came out quick. Dr pep bottle was a rare bonus! Check em out!

This is one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I cannot wait to eat it again. The onion rings were also incredible. Simple and delicious.

Food included the 1/4 lb. brisket (lean), pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, and fries. The lean brisket surprised with how good it was. Would order again. Might skip the mac next time, and others have mentioned the price point. Lots of families and friendly atmosphere.

Wow the food was as good as the beer!!!! service was on point and the patio was busy with a large party but we were off prime time so little to no wait. Parking was a bit challenging as they are in a neighborhood but it can be found. Open modern interior with a beer area that will make any lover beyond happy. The somewhat open kitchen is always fun as well. The Food: Smokehouse Dip: OMG a smoked french dip? Yes please. Nicely sliced smoked meat with a bun that had just enough integrity to survive being dunked in the jus but soft enough to eat without. The melted cheese added a nice counterpoint to the smokey meat and helped offset the saltiness of the jus. Add a bit of their house bbq sauce and it was perfect. Onion Rings: Like a moth to flame I will order this everytime. perfectly friend and just the right batter to onion ration. I could eat these all day long with one of their beers Caesar Salad: Crisp lettuce and plenty of parm. The dressing could have used a bit more acid but was nevertheless good Beer: Pilsner served in a cold glass. Nice and crisp it was a perfect beverage to cleanse the palate between rich bites.
