I highly recommend the nice guy!!! I celebrated a birthday here with a group of friends on a Friday evening and everything from the food to the ambience was absolutely amazing! They were super accommodating, as we had initially made a reservation for 8 people but they were more than happy to help us squeeze 3 more spots into our party last minute! They also gave us a great table in the center of the dining room right by the live jazz piano, and didn't rush us out at all. The photo booth in the corner is also a super fun addition to the restaurant, and the drake spritz, burger, rigatoni, kale salad, and burrata were all incredible. Parking is a bit of a pain, but valet is available for $15. It's chic, but not uppity, which is hard to find in WeHo. I would definitely come back here for a future celebration! I read some reviews about this place being some special celebrity hideaway, the staff being stuffy, it being difficult to get reservations etc but one weekend after getting our tickets we just said f it, lets walk over at 6pm on a Sunday and see if we can get a seat at the bar. It was that easy. They let us right in and we found two seats. Service and cocktails were great. Food is tasty but a little pricey as expected. It is really DARK in there. They do have a little light clip so you don't look like an a**hole using your phone flashlight. I'm not sure why the ratings are so low here, maybe it's the hype? It's a restaurant like any other restaurant, go in with regular expectations and you'll have a good time. We like coming here before the largo as a special treat now! read more

This is my favorite place in the area by far. Fabulous atmosphere, service, and food. We sat at the bar around 8 on a Saturday and got there right before it got busy. I was skeptical just like everyone else of this place. Reviews weren't great but was interested to see why celebs kept coming back. I made a reservation for a friend's birthday probably a month in advance. Day of the reservation, you'll receive a text to confirm your reservation for the day. When we got there, we were terribly late (over an hour) due to car issues. We tried calling and even contacting them on social media to let them know we will be late but don't even try. They never answer the phones, which is ridiculous. However, when we got there, the restaurant was empty and they gave us no issues and seated us. So if you ever wanted to walk-in, as long as you're there rather early (6-7pm) you'll be fine. Once we got seated, we ordered some cocktails. Their drinks are pricey but quite good. (Tbh their saving grace) Service was good, extremely attentive. For starters, we got the cheesy garlic bread. They used some kind of whole wheat bread. It was decent. Marinara sauce was good. As for entrees, we got the few of the pastas and a salmon. Honestly, the food was OK, but for the price, I expected heaven in my mouth. But it wasn't heaven. It felt amateur-ish. I had the squid ink campanelle, and the mussels was grainy and the garlic was quite raw. All in all, it was alright. this place is absolutely incredible if you're looking for a romantic date spot to take your person. it's very dim inside and primarily lit by candles, and sets the mood, along with a frank sinatra kind of singer who sits in the corner serenading everyone the whole meal and the great thing is that it's not too loud and it's very warm and welcoming. parking was really chill but primarily valet so i would bring some cash for that. the food is amazing we got the shrimp scampi and the meatballs to start and the scampi had the perfect bite of heat and the red sauce on the meatballs is just sweet enough to cut through the acidity of the tomato we got the rigatoni bolognese and the cacio pepe for the entres and the pasta you could tell was made to order and in house - the bolognese was exploding with flavor and the cacio pepe had just enough black pepper and was not overwhelming the desert we had the chocolate chip bread pudding, the mascarpone on top was delicate and the bread pudding was not too heavy like it tends to be - absolutely insane i would give this place more than 5 stars if i could and will forsure be coming back read more

Our reservation was for 9:30 and we were waited over 45 minutes until they found / cleaned up a table for our party. This was the second time we had come here and had to wait over 30 minutes after our posted reservation time, but hanging around at the bar and the drinks made up for it. Drinks: foggy memory & head huncho are my favorites. Both light and not overpowered with taste or alcohol. Spicy Silina was also great but incredibly spicy for my taste. Food: meatballs, any pizza & spicy rigatoni are pretty good dishes. Pizza is on the thinner side and crispier crust which I prefer, but pasta was cooked a little less than Al dente. Your not allowed to take any photos not of yourself or your food and to be specific with the flash on but if you've been you KNOW you need the flash to see anything because it's extremely dark inside, they make you use their Photo Booth which is free but still!
