The minute i stepped into Bad Roman I immediately knew i was going to have a good time. I loved the moody lighting and the giant boar at the front. Friendly isn't enough to describe how accommodating and helpful every single person we've come across was. Our group had some dietary restrictions and our server walked as through the menu to make sure everything was covered. After some very thoughtful suggestions, our cocktails came out first and they were amazing. I particularly loved the Amalfi Diet, which was served in a little diet coke bottle, delicious and cute! The food was ridiculously good. Perfect medium rare steak, lobster pasta presented table-side not just for fanfare but with intention, not to mention the humongous seafood tower that felt like both a treasure hunt for accoutrements and an embarrassment of riches in the form of literal jumbo shrimp, crab legs, oysters and caviar. The lemon-shaped lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everything was presented and executed perfectly. Bad Roman just instantly transports you into your own little world where you don't have to worry about anything other than what to order (though they can help you with that too! Thanks Brendan, Rex and everyone else for the amazing recommendations) and it's crazy to think they haven't been open that long. An amazing addition to our little neighborhood.

Walking into this restaurant is such a vibe! The asthetic is amazing, beautifully designed. It's super viby. I dined with a girlfriend and we started with the roasted garlic babka bread and oh it is so good! Light buttery and garlicky. We also got the yellowtail crudo, also good. The spicy gem Caesar, that had lots of cheese and some yummy crunchy ciabatta crumbs. We shared the chicken scarpariello rigatoni pasta and it had great flavor. We finished with the lemon cheesecake dessert that is super cute and also yummy. It was my bday so they brought out some sorbet with a candle in a super cute dish. We also had some drinks, and overall this place is superb! The vibe, the staff and the food are all great. I will definitely be back!

For a restaurant that just opened less than a month ago, it was very very impressive. Priced perfectly and not gouging prices like most restaurants today. Very very reasonably priced. The food was incredible and delicious. The lobster pasta was probably the best lobster pasta I ever had. Perfect spice, right balance of flavor and not heavy. Steak was great too and all the apps we ordered. A lot of table side service which is great! Service was outstanding! For a Beverly Hills restaurant, service was excellent. The ambiance was my favorite! It was posh, chic, elegant, and everything that you want in the perfect restaurant atmosphere

Such a fun Saturday night out at Bad Roman steps away from iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Sexy and chic restaurant with great service if you have Linn as a waitress. She made the whole night amazing by taking excellent care of our table. We enjoyed the ravioli a top the filet cooked medium. It was outstanding! Great steak in my opinion! The lemon cheesecake is definitely worth a try if you like those flavors! Presentation, flavor, and ambiance all made for a fun night. Drink menu was vast, espresso (nonalcoholic) perfect to waken up the night. Mocktail list available as well greatly appreciated!! Will be back!

Bad Roman is a beautiful restaurant with a very lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, I don't have much more positive things to say about my experience there. The food was extremely mediocre, especially for the price point it is at. For upwards of $40 for a bowl of pasta, I expect something delicious, not bland and simply edible. The Agnolotti Bistecca was $48 and the steak in it was extremely dry. The Penne Luongo tasted like buttered noodles with some truffle. The Spicy Lobster pasta was the only dish that was actually pretty yummy! Additionally, we had to wait 40 minutes to get seated for a reservation we made 3 weeks prior--it almost felt like a game to get us to buy drinks at the bar while waiting. I only say that because I saw an influencer online also have that exact experience of waiting almost an hour for her reservation. Bad Roman is a good spot for a couple of drinks, the ambiance, and maybe a crudo or some dessert. But, for a full, expensive dinner in LA, you could go to much better spots.

I got the skirt steak cooked medium rare -- flavor was good, but it was a little tough to cut. I think it would've paired even better with some garlic butter or chimichurri on the side. The mac and cheese was SO good and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely something I'd order again. The pork chops were delicious and packed with flavor, but the spinach underneath was a bit too bitter for my taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy, soft, and comforting. We also loved the Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad -- both were super solid sides. Drinks were perfect and balanced out the dishes really well. Service and atmosphere were great too. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menu next time we are in the area.

We sat in the lounge area and it was perfect. Got the ham appetizer, the burger, fries, and the raspberry sorbet dessert. Everything was incredible, one of the best burgers I've had in Los Angeles. Service was also great. I even called about an hour after I got home because I started getting a scratchy throat and realized I didn't specifically ask if there were strawberries in the raspberry sorbet (I'm allergic and that was completely my mistake for not double checking before I chowed down) but the host that answered was super nice, I could hear in the background her double checking with a server, who then even double checked with the kitchen to make sure they were giving me the correct answer which I really really appreciate. Side note, no strawberries in the sorbet I'll most definitely be returning here in the future.

We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. The Tomato cocktail was my favorite by far -- savory, balanced, and not overly sweet. Blackberry was a close second, really refreshing and easy to drink. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. Overall, I'd come back for drinks and would give the food another shot since the menu changes pretty frequently but this particular meal didn't totally hit for me.

Nick, the manager, was SUPER cool, and our server, Ariana (I hope I got her name right!), was an absolute doll and the definition of professionalism. I decided to try something different from the menu this time, and let me tell you, by the time I said, "Take a picture..." my food was gone! That's how good it was. My mother and I both had the Turkey Reuben -- hers with fries and mine with the apple kale salad. My mom even mentioned to Nick that the sweet potato fries should definitely be added to the menu! My dad ordered breakfast and wanted sausage... no sausage... BACON ONLY! Work on that, The Henry! Thanks to Larissa, we decided to give The Henry another try, and I'm so glad we did. The service, the atmosphere (the music and sunshine were perfect), and the food were all ooooooon point! Sometimes you've got to give people the opportunity to make amends by showing a little grace, and I'm happy we did. This visit completely changed our perspective. We'll definitely be back... promise!

Two days ago Los Angeles Magazine published the following article by Leo Li:…read morehttps://share.google/HxL9oDf3vhjQAtjRF "Where to Watch the World Cup in Los Angeles," looking through it I found The Henry; a place in my neighborhood. The write-up on The Henry makes it sound like a fun place to watch a game after work. I called in advance to make sure that the information in the write up was accurate. I was told that they expected heavy traffic for the game and dinner service. I inquired about a reservation near the bar with a view of the game. I was informed that the "high top" tables near the screens were already booked but that I was welcomed to sit at the bar as available. Up to that point I hadn't heard anything that I wasn't prepared to hear particularly on a Friday during the World Cup so I took a chance had went there with a friend hoping to have a great time. We arrived shortly before 5pm to enjoy a bit of the happy hour menu before dinner. We were greeted and offered a table by the bar near the screens with the condition that we needed to be done by 6:30. Well that wasn't going to work because the game started at 6pm. We sat ourselves at the end of the bar about 20 feet from the two tv screens...perfect! The good: the space is beautiful. Warm pretzel bites with fondue were amazing. The garlic fries were crispy. The Sangria was delicious. The bad: bar service was minimal despite a sparse crowd at the bar. I had to reach across the bar counter to grab myself drink coasters for my Sangria, beer, water and my friend's beverage because the condensation kept dripping on my clothes. The bar tender never bothered to come back and check how my cocktail was as most bar tenders do. The fact that there were three makes it more astounding. The really bad: there was a power outage in the restaurant (not the entire block) 5 minutes before kickoff. 10-15 minutes into the game the power came back on but only one tv was functional. Early on there was a bit of a rush to rectify the matter but as time went on, it seemed to become a non-issue despite concern from those around the bar that we couldn't watch the game. No apologies were offered by management at the time. Not even water was offered a jester of good faith while they sorted out the issue. Like a few others, we decided to cut our losses and left at half time. The buzz at the bar was to meet at Lucky Strikes to finish watching the game. Prior to leaving I approached a woman who seemed concerned with the tv malfunction and asked if she was part of the management. She responded that she was and I proceeded to explain my utter disappointment in the experience. She looked profoundly distraught with my observations...At least that's what I told myself in order to not feel like this had been a complete waste of time. We left without having dinner while watching the game. What a shame because the menu sounded appealing. Oh, BTW the high top table in front of the tv was still vacant by the time we left at half time. Not sure it would've mattered because the tv was malfunctioning anyway. I am truly puzzled by what made the author of the article think that The Henry would be a great place to catch a game of any sort. Our server, the space, decor, location and menu items we tried were amazing. The overall attention to detail, attentiveness to customers and overall experience was not one that I would recommend on a Friday night during the World Cup. CLEARLY, the author missed his mark on this one. Oddly enough, we ran into four others from The Henry at Lucky Strikes. No electricity/media issues there.

They had the Easter bunny come to take photos with the kids and handed out eggs. Val was our server and was great, and Maya, who was helping her, was honestly amazing. She was constantly checking in, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and making sure everything felt smooth without ever interrupting the moment. The food was also so good, we loved the chilaquiles and the cinnamon roll was definitely a favorite. Everything came out perfect and the whole experience just felt easy and enjoyable. It's not often you notice a server assistant this much, but Maya really stood out she was so nice and sweet and made us feel welcomed. I would absolutely come back and would love to have them again.

Service was slow, they assumed we wanted everything at once, and some of the food was subpar and definitely not on point. Because we asked for our "breads" after 30 minutes just to get started, they though we suddenly wanted everything (our breads being scones and a cinnamon roll). We should have stated or they should have asked, would you like us to bring everything out at once or the small plates first. First miss. Eggs Benedict was bland, under seasoned, and english muffins like two plastic frisbees. Second miss. Slow service and attitude of server not the friendliest, third miss. Table service was slow/inattentive. We had to ask for silverware on more than one occasion. Service seemed somewhat more disorganized than usual (it's usually a little disorganized, not always great). I'm taking this, unfortunately, off my go to/recommended list as it's become inconsistent and no longer worth taking chances on for the service and food.
