I recently saw on my IG feed the salons pics and some of the women who have had cuts there. They had pretty cool hair so I was like hey, let's try this place for my wife. I booked her appt on yelp Saturday morning on the 13th through the book now option. I was like wow! Got a time for today, and a good early time. Was pleased with how seamless this was. Wife was happy appt was set. Things were great. Keep in mind my wife has had bad luck with haircuts and has been dying for a haircut and looking forward to it. Later that day before the appt I got an email saying it was canceled and moved to the 18th at like 3pm. I tried calling several times that day. No answer. Nothing. Straight to vm of a lady that doesn't even say that she's with the salon. This I think Tuesday or Wednesday I finally am able to get a hold of someone I forget if I called or they called me. Rebooked the appt for today 10/8 5pm which was great cause I'd get home watch the kids, and my wife could relax and get her hair done. Now to today 10/18 I get a call informing me the lady I spoke with booked me "for the wrong day" and that we needed to resched tomorrow. Seriously....... so this is my first impressions with a business. 1 canceled app, 1 rescheduled app, and then a "I'm sorry we booked you the wrong day" Poor customer service, Yelp "book an appointment" function is worthless if they don't have their appt books aligned with it, no one working the phones apparently on weekends which is pretty weak from a financial stand point for future clients. And on top of that I will tell you and everyone else looking for a haircut to avoid BEENE AND COMPANY and take your money elsewhere. UPDATE***** today the manager Shelly reached out to me, took responsibility for the mix up and changes and offered my wife a chance to come back at 50% off for service. Shelly didn't try and shuck and jive. She apologized. Very admirable. My wife didn't feel comfortable going back to a place to have someone work on her hair after we had given a poor review, understandable. I do thank Shelly for reaching out to me to make this right. I have updated the rating to 3 stars in light of all of this.

After I sat down, I was asked again which pedicure I wanted and repeatedly pressured to upgrade to gel for an extra $20. I had to say no at least five times, which felt very pushy and uncomfortable. The pedicure itself was good, but the service was disappointing. The hot towels and paraffin wax were only left on for about two minutes before my 7-minute massage started, which felt rushed compared to other salons. During the massage, I was also repeatedly asked if everything was okay, which made it hard to actually relax. Overall, the experience felt more focused on upselling than customer service. I was not impressed and will not be back. I would rather drive farther for better service elsewhere.
