The Century Orleans 18 and XD is located in the Orleans Hotel and Casino. This was my first time coming to this movie theater so I wasn't sure exactly where it was inside the casino. We had parked outside the main entrance towards Tropicana street. It was only a short walk from the main entrance and up escalators to the second floor to get to the movie theater. It was also next to a large arcade as well! We had already purchased our tickets through the Cinemark movie mobile application and ended up getting snacks. There is now a XL popcorn bucket offered by Cinemark and we ended up getting one of those as well as a few sodas. The checkout process was seamless, since I'm a movie rewards member, they scanned the QR code for discounts. Outside of the snack area was additional condiments, napkins, and even extra butter if you wanted! The Mortal Kombat II movie was in theater one. The seats were comfortable, reclined, sound quality in the theater was awesome, and the movie was great! I'm not sure the next time I'll be back at this movie theater as we usually go to the Santa Fe Century or the Suncoast Century since it's closer to our house, but if there is a limited showing, only available at Century Orleans 18, we would come back to this movie theater again!

That's a pretty disappointing combination when you're already paying a premium for snacks. Something the theater obviously has no control over, but is still a huge negative for me, is that they serve Pepsi products. No Coke means I'll never be purchasing a beverage here. I'll be back since this is the closest theater to me, but I'll also continue exploring other theater brands. She informed us our theater number and where it's located. We arrived 45 minutes early so we can stop by the concession stand to pick up some popcorn, snacks and drinks. We decided to leave the line in the concession as we've been waiting for over 30 minutes and didn't want to miss the trailers. We left the concession empty handed which was disappointing. We chose good seats at the very top, middle section overlooking the screen. Great quality in the surround sound. We liked that the seats were huge, couch like, wide and you can adjust the level of reclining while the drink and food holder was spacious. Our area was clean however, the row below us and beside us had popcorn all over the floor. We exited the opposite side of where we came in and the floor was so sticky. When we were coming out of the theater, there was an employee with a broom waiting for the people to leave so they can enter and clean. As people were leaving they were saying have a good night. I thought that was so kind. Seems like they have great customer service from the interaction I had with 2 of the theater employees. They were nice and polite. Management needs to keep the theater clean and make it consistent. Also management needs to hire more staff to help the 2 young man at the concession stand and maybe station several employees for each theater to be cleaned. One employee can't clean the whole theater in a timely manner. I feel bad for the employees because you can tell they are wanting to assist everyone but they lack the support. The lounge recliners are comfortable and we love the swing tray tables that come with them. The seats also have heat settings. The temperature overall felt comfortable and I usually run cold (my average temperature is always 97.7°F).  I was in jeans and a t-shirt and also didn't ever feel the ac blasting. I thought it would be since it's been getting warmer/hot out lately. I was in stadium 10, middle of row J, and noticed one of the tray tables was a bit worn down compared to the others. It still worked fine, but parts of it were peeling and I could see how it might scrape someone depending on how they sit or move. It stood out since everything else I've used there has always been in great condition. The bathrooms are clean, which I appreciate, but I do wish they had more kid friendly options like lower sinks or soap dispensers. Even having a small swing step stool under the sinks (I've seen them in other locations around here for restaurants) available would help. It's a family oriented place, so that seems like something that could really make a difference. Not every parent can lift their child up, especially if they're dealing with an injury or holding another baby or other items. I also wish there were sanitizing wipes available again, either at the entrance or somewhere inside the theater near the steps. Overall, this is still our go to theater for family movie days.

There was an issue with our room that pulled me off of a hot crap table at the New York casino and go back to deal with. Of course I was mad but what made me hotter was Yesenia. She made it so hard with her attitude and I felt like she was making me more mad on purpose. A quarter fell out of my wallet when she asked for my ID and she slammed it on the counter. I asked her if I dropped it and her reply was "obviously". She kept rolling her eyes and talking over me making me feel like what I'm going through is not a big deal and I'm inconveniencing her. If she didn't want to be there, she should've stayed home. In the end I decided not to wait for the manager after waiting 10 minutes and dealing with Yesenia. FYI the problem was that the shower handle would not turn, no matter how hard it was turned. I'm pretty strong and felt like I would've broke it. We waited 30 minutes for the people to come and fix it, no one came and I called front seat to switch rooms and me compensated. They offered $150 room/beverage credit because nothing else was available. Person on the phone told me that I could use a digital key to get in, but it didn't work and we had to go downstairs to get this heat made and that's where we ran into the major issue, Yesenia. Do I think I was compensated adequately, yes in hindsight. Do I think she should be fired? Possibly as her attitude is bad for business and the customer experience. Do I think she should be a reprimanded, definitely . No customer that is gambling what I gamble should be treated like how I was by that person. This kind of stuff should not be tolerated and should be looked in to. I expect to be contacted about this because you operate a reputable company and a clean property and I feel like this should be talked about. And just an FYI I had to leave a hot crap table having large line bets and the table was going great. This crappy experience cost me in more ways than one as no one needs extra stress.
