Each pie is made in high heat oven bake. Thin crust pizza with a fluffy and airy crust that exudes a soft, warm, slightly Smokey aroma with each bite. Toppings can vary depending on the day, but I normally like to mix both a tomato based sauce and white sauce pie. So therefore always a group venture. Diavola was a show stopper. A tomato based sauce with Fior di latte cheese and perfectly crisp pepperoni. Not gonna lie, I ate 3/4 of the pie on my own. Bianca was a white sauce with Fior di Latte and uniquely a lemon preserve. Pretty distinct citrus flavor so not sure how many of you will relate to it. Very unique flavoring. Had 2 slices but not a pie you can eat alone in my opinion. Make sure you're with a partner or group. Overall loved their pies and looking forward to trying the Napoletana and Fungi.

Everyone was extremely friendly and apologetic about the wait. I hear there's a sit down location opening next week! Very worth it though, the margarita special was sooooo good. I prefer the crust a little burnt, so it was perfect, but My husband said it was a little too dark for him. The tiramisu was very fresh and delicious, I felt there was too much mascarpone and the espresso could be stronger.

I had a craving for Esco's pizza (a telltale sign that Esco's has now occupied my brain more than the neighboring pizzerias) so I popped in on a Sunday and found that they had slices of oxtail pizza. I immediately ordered it. They also had jerk chicken pizza and a chicken pesto pizza. After talking to the woman behind the counter, I decided to order pesto pizza, since she recommended it and it was the best decision! The chicken pesto pizza is so flavorful. Chicken pieces were cooked tender, not dry and it was fully marinated in the pesto. Great fresh tastes of basil, Parmesan cheese and the pine nuts, one slice was enough to be a satisfying meal. Buuut, I didn't in this case, because I still had the oxtail! The beef was tender with a slight crispy edge and was served generously on the slice. Jalapeno slices add just the right amount of heat. It comes with a a side of consomme where you can dip your pizza. I would definitely come back for both slices. People from Esco's are mad friendly and hospitable which is a huge pull for me. Bumped up the rating a star!

The crust is thin, the slices fold the way they should, and everything lands in the "decent" category -- nothing mind‑blowing, but nothing disappointing either. It's the kind of place you hit when you want a quick, familiar, New York-style slice, and you don't mind paying a bit extra for the convenience and size. Overall, decent pizza at a premium, but it gets the job done.

We showed up late on a Friday so we weren't gonna be able to eat inside. No issue we when to the window and got three slices. The tomato pie with ricotta, the Sicilian corner, and the special which had chorizo and green sauce of some kind. We sat in my car and took a bite of each slice and ... wow. Everything was amazing. UH MAY ZING. Our favorite was the Sicilian corner but honestly, it was all great. We even ordered the cheese cake for dessert and it was dense and delicious. I will for sure be back and am excited to try some other selections.

The inside dinning area is very small, but trendy in a hipster kinda way. It's your typical Echo Park restaurant with good food, and lots of customers in a cramped space. Seating is very limited so most people end up eating their pies on the standing tables outside or on the sidewalk. They have a small takeout window for pre orders. The online ordering process isn't the easiest and the pick up process feels a bit clunky but the service is great. It's not the most relaxed dining experience but that's part of the charm. The pizza itself was good, almost great but something is missing. It's a Detroit style pie, made to order and topped with high quality ingredients. The cheese pull is on these slices is great. It's a very good pizza for LA but definitely not the best pizza you'll find in LA. They have a great chocolate chip cookie and a surprisingly appetizing dessert list for a pizza joint. I would definitely recommend trying Quarter Sheets if you're in Echo Park or if Detroit style pizza is your thing. Just be prepared for the chaotic set up and limited seating.

I can't speak to the pizza because apparently as a woman getting served is a bigger challenge.

They offer both pies and by the slice. You pick up the slice and the crust is so thin! You hold it up in wonder but before you take that first bite, you gotta fold it. Pinch the crust and fold it in half, tilt your head and take a bite at the end! That's how you do it! The sauce is awesome and I really luv the crust. Don't like the crusts? Give them to me. They have all your traditional toppings!! They're open late and there are always slices available. Don't see a topping you want, ask for a cheese slice and then ask for toppings. They will then heat it up in their fast ovens. They have calzones and salads. For those with a sweet tooth ask for a Cannoli! You can also buy a ball of fresh dough if you want to make your own pie at home. The Palms location is off Overland but don't drive too fast or you'll miss it! My partner, with pretty high standards, said he hasn't had a calzone that tasty in a LOOOONG time. The only reason for the one missing star is because the dipping sauce was not marinara but tomato sauce. So it doesn't cling onto the garlic knots, was watery, and a little plain. Regardless, we'll be back. :)

The Caesar salad was really good, and the branzino was honestly one of the best I've ever had - great presentation too. I'm giving 3 stars for service because we waited way too long for our bottle of wine. Sitting outside in their back patio was enjoyable, while the indoor dining area is cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Everything looks appealing and well-presented, but unfortunately, much of the food lacked flavor. I ordered the Pappardelle Genovese pasta, and although it looked delicious and had plenty of meat, it was surprisingly bland. I even added sea salt to try to enhance the flavor, but it was still only average. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's not something I would order again. The drinks were fine and looked cute, but nothing particularly memorable. My favorite item was the beet salad. It was delicious and well balanced, with mixed greens, goat cheese, hazelnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette. That was definitely the standout dish of the meal. Overall, the ambiance, decor, and presentation were better than the food itself. While it's a nice place to visit and enjoy the atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return for the food.
