Delicious! We were at the end of a 10 hour drive and stopped in Pocatello for the night. We seriously considered just getting fast food across the street from our hotel but decided to go to The Nook instead and were so glad we did. The food was so good (we ordered the Huck Fin, the Johnney, and 2 cheeseburgers), the prices were reasonable and the owner was really nice. He was very accommodating of our kids' requests for changes to the cheeseburger and he also threw in some chocolate, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend! read more

We tried this nifty spot during a holiday on our way home from a camping trip. Hubs and I shared a BLT with tots on the side. I've never had so much bacon (cooked to perfection BTW) on a sandwich in my life. Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, bread lightly toasted, and mayo in the mix with just the right amount. The tots were fabulous. We will be back again to try the burgers. This guy cooks to perfection. read more

Food - 5 Service - 5 Value - 5 This place can be hard to find, but if you look for the entrance to Station Square, then you are at the right place so just head inside! Great place for a burger -- the single patty is more than enough. The price on the menu included your choice of fries or tots (extra charge for tots). I got the swiss mushroom burger and it was awesome -- mushrooms were generous and large. The tots were also great too. The price also includes a free bottle of water. This place was so good! It's in the middle of an indoor shopping center so we almost didn't find it, but I'm glad we persisted! It's a mostly one man set up. He was so friendly when we got there, letting us know that the menu changes a little based on what he can get, so our Huck Burgers had raspberry jam, not huckleberry, but they were still phenomenal. My kids got a double burger and Bro Burger. They both loved them! The littles got hot dogs which they also liked. Just a warning, in case you have picky eaters. He cuts the hot dog in half and grills it, so it has some black spots in the middle. Exactly like you get when you grill a hot dog, so not a bad thing, just letting others know. The portions are large and everything is fresh. Lots of super fresh veggies on the burgers! The owner/cook came out to check on the food while we were eating too. The tables are right outside the "restaurant". You order inside where there is small counter and grill. You eat right outside that inside the common area of the shopping center (still indoors). The food is cooked to order, so it's not "fast food" but it was quicker than we expected. He did say he only had 4 friers, so if you order more than 4 things that need fried, it takes longer. He still was able to get our 3 orders of fries and 2 orders of tots out super fast. And the servings are huge! read more

These people are friendly and know how to make excellent burgers! I had the mushroom and Swiss, the hubster had the pastrami burger, both were good sized and delicious! The fries are from scratch as any idaho restraunt should, the tots were awesome too. read more

The Brian is the best Pastrami sandwich I have had in 15 years and the BLT gets you ALL the bacon cooked to perfection.
