We ate there for our 20th wedding anniversary, drinks were great, Salad was great but I ordered the seafood ravioli and the pasta was way too thick and pasta tasted so nasty I didn't eat it and they didn't take it off, thank God hubby ordered the perfect dish and I shared it with him. Came here to eat around 7pm on March 13 and the food was okay. I went to eat at the bar by myself and the seating in the bar is pretty odd. The place is dated and needs some interior upgrade in my opinion. The bathroom is clean but smells extremely weird. The servers are extremely friendly and did their table touches just enough. The food was okay, but not impressed with my entree and salad. The bread and butter was probably the food I most enjoyed eating. The fettuccine alfredo came to my table cold and it was okay to where it wasn't too good or bad. The salad was iceberg lettuce, purple, cabbage, carrots, and croutons served with caesar salad dressing, which, in my opinion, the dressing doesn't go well with the salad. My daughters and I went to an after season softball banquet here, and it had been many, many years since our last visit. The food is okay, and honestly it caters to younger childrens' appetites. We looked at each other and laughed about what our likes and tastes were way back when. The concept is great with the three-course meal, and of course younger kids like the ice cream at the end. Two of us got lasagna, which was fine, but my ballplayer made the mistake of getting the brown-butter myzithra pasta, and that meal in itself is very dry and boring. I warned her lol! Our table ordered the Sicilian garlic cheese bread (did they run out of garlic?), mizithra cheese and browned butter spaghetti with a side salad and balsamic vinaigrette, the chicken parmigiana with vegetable minestrone soup. Their balsamic dressing was oil with Italian seasoning, absolutely no vinegar. The soup had 2 beans the rest just vegetables, almost like one of those "clean out the fridge" soups. I grew up with this restaurant. It's changed little over the 40+ years I've come here. I personally love the way they do the mizithra cheese in brown butter, but I have enjoyed nearly all the other sauces as well. I've never had a problem with the service and really enjoy the atmosphere, especially when It's full of families and friends, it has a very festive feel. Probably the worst pasta place you can go to, I can't believe this place even has 3.6 stars reviews. I ordered the mac and cheese and my wife got the chicken fettuccine Alfred and it was awful. Well that would be an understatement because the Mac cheese, looked like it had some cheese on it, but not like an actual cheese sauce. When I tried to eat, it tasted like a boiled, bland pasta, with some of it's water in it. I have had some bad Mac cheese before, but this isn't even Mac cheese to call that. They should put it on the menu as boiled pasta with some "cheese" that you will not taste. The fettuccine was the same thing, and i think the chicken tasted like boiled chicken from the water of the pasta that was sitting it. The staff doesn't what they are doing at, I even spoke to the manger who said will be refunding me the money (which never happened). The manger wanted me to drive 30 minutes back from house to pick the rest of the stuff that they didn't even include. When me and wife placed the order we were asked multiple questions about what sides we wanted to have with the pasta. So when we arrived there, we were greeted and sent to the window, where a young person there keeping track of the orders and "suppose " to go over what you are getting in the back. This person actually had very long nails and kept on touching the dirty screen with their fingers and nails. I'm surprised that a person who handles food can have long nails like this. They received my ordered didn't bother to look in the bag and just handed them over to me. When i got home, I discovered I only received the pasta, and when I called them and asked for manger. The manger told me to come back and pick up the rest of the orders. When I told him that I'm already not in the area and I'm 30 min away, he offered to refund me the money. Long-standing, classic favorite of mine. I always get The Manager's Favorite often torn between getting Meat Sauce & Mizithra Cheese or Clam Sauce & Mizithra Cheese. They changed the Clam Sauce recipe some years ago and it isn't as good as it once was. Sometimes I will get the Potpourri but I'm generally not a fan of mushrooms in my spaghetti sauce. One time I got the tortellini. It was really good but I missed The Manager's favorite too much. The salad is always served on a chilled plate and always crisp and delicious. Best thousand island salad dressing anywhere. And the excellent spumoni ice cream for dessert. Hard to find spumoni ice cream to buy in a grocery store anymore. Back in the day, milk, coffee or tea came with the meal free. Easy to order take out but not terribly friendly pickup in the bar at the Spokane location if you can't navigate payment with the QR code. In one word, underwhelming. I ordered spaghetti with mushroom sauce. Don't remember what hubby and daughter ordered but their meals weren't all that great either. The sauce on my spaghetti could only be described as fresh from the jar, the mushrooms were cooked but flavorful? Not really. Invest in some spices, maybe some flavored olive oil. Something to take your food from the off the shelf to amazing. The bread was good, too bad the bread knife was dull. And the spimoni? I can safely say I still haven't had spimoni, what I got was chocolate ice cream with ice crystals and an ocassional cherry. I was really surprised at how bad my overall experience was at this place. Service was extremely slow which is understandable since they were pretty busy during my visit. The night started off with 2 of our drinks being incorrect which was made worse by the long bar wait times (10+ minutes to get another drink). The lights and overall atmosphere seemed inconsistent and I found myself being blinded by the rail car's headlight the entire evening. Food arrived lukewarm and honestly didn't taste all that great (I've experienced better flavor from Olive Garden). I will give them the benefit of the doubt that their other dishes taste better than their ravioli. The cheese bread we ordered was also pretty dry and flavorless. At this point I overheard the table next to us complain that their silverware was dirty so I glanced at my own and found dried on food chunks on both my fork and spoon. I brought this up with my waiter who proceeded to not even look at the silverware and tell me that it's probably just dried water (it was definitely food). The prices were relatively high with my ravioli being somewhere in the $20 range. For the cost, we could have went to a less noisy and more intimate restaurant. He never bothered to ask if we wanted bread or to check in during our meal. Overall he wasn't friendly nor did he seem motivated or want to be there. We had Spaghetti Alfredo, spaghetti with browned butter and mizythra cheese, and a manager special of spaghetti with mizythra on one side and meat sauce on the other. Of course the bread and spumoni ice cream were great. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. When I called to make a reservation they person said that they weren't taking reservations. However, when we arrived 5 groups arriving after us were seated before us because they had reservations. When asked about it, the person at the counter said they were sorry but we received bad information and that they were accepting reservations. I was a little incensed. So, after an hour wait we were finally seated. The wait staff were friendly. I would go again but next time I would demand a reservation! read more

I have been so disappointed in OSF in Spokane lately. it has been our go to place for take out when we are too tired to cook. The last 5 times we have gone there, they have omitted items in our order but charged us for them. We have learned to check our bag closely before leaving the restaurant. But what has prompted me to finally write this review is that they have greatly reduced the amount of Mizithra cheese they use on their Mizithra cheese/browned butter spaghetti. There is simply not enough topping for the amount of pasta. Since that has been a favorite and we virtually always order it, we plan to go elsewhere for our takeout now. So sad. Went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory with our elderly parents after attending the Spokane Symphony's Sunday afternoon Bring Crosby Christmas performance. The Old Spaghetti Factory has always been one of our favorites, but we haven't been for a long time due to lack of parking. In the past the service has been very fast, but last night we waited over an hour for our food. When we were finally served it was lukewarm at best. Evidently, they were backed up on to-go orders, and that is why it took so long to be served. Our waitress (who was very nice), said the drivers that deliver the orders can be quite demanding. I would think dine in customers would take priority. Not sure when we will be back. read more

An excellent food experience For an appetizer we ordered the olive tapenade, which was served with toasted bread slices. It had a very full flavor, and the bread was perfectly toasted and buttered, which added a little extra sprinkle of something to the flavor. We couldn't stop eating this! For an entree I ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce. I was pleased to discover that they offer Angel hair pasta as an option, because it's my favorite pasta type and you rarely find it served in restaurants. The spaghetti was excellent, the pasta perfectly cooked, and there was a perfect sauce-to-pasta ratio. It was a large portion, and I ate nearly all of it very quickly, saving a little for later. The meal came with a house salad, and a loaf of fresh house made Sourdough bread, as well as a scoop of ice cream at the end, all included in the cost of the Meal! For dessert I had opted for the Tiramisu instead of the ice cream that comes with the meal, and it was well worth it. I was stuffed from the meal, but I ate every bit of that fluffy, flavorful house made dessert. And I thought I couldn't be more impressed after my meal! I ate everything so fast that I didn't realize until the end that I had forgotten to take pictures, but here's a look at the Tiramisu. Where's the service anymore? Just got back from eating at the Spokane location. I have to say it was not great, it was subpar. First of all the prices for this food doesn't reflect the experience we had. There were 6 people at lunch on Sunday August 18th at noon. The server/waitress was young and not enthusiastic at all to service. I am empathetic that we all have days where we are tired and or not comfortable yet with service but with 6 people you would think that management would see that the waitress was struggling in her section. We ordered and the food was ok, I had the lobster and crab ravioli, it was awful! It was cold and hard with a tasteless sauce on top. We had to ask numerous times for refills on our drinks and napkins. At the end of the meal the waitress was handing all her guests at different tables their check at the same time. This is not great service as she then had to take all out checks and ring them up at the same time, that's going to take longer and she was away from all her table for a total of 10-15 minutes. Tasted like something you could get from near the convenient store. Total was around 17 dollars and I felt like with that amount i could get a decent meal somewhere else.
