This location is really unique. The entrance and dining area are filled with velvet covered furniture and dark woods. The menu is full of delicious choices and most dinners include salad and a scoop of ice cream. The house pesto dressing is so delicious. The mizithra pasta and broccoli is my favorite and I highly recommend it. We love the garlic cheesy bread appetizer as well. Service was fast and friendly and prices are good for what you get. I do believe you have to pay for parking if you use the lot next door, but there are free spots around as well.

The food took a while to come out, so we entertained ourselves best we could. lol

Overall Meh... service was great, ambience was unique, but the spaghetti took a while to come out... also, we didn't taste the $20 ingredients we paid for if I'm being honest. We ordered the special brown butter spaghetti and it just didn't have the execution I've seen with this dish. Kids meals was neat with the cotton candy toppers worked. Bottle of wine was $40 for a 2024 Pinot. Again, wasn't horrible but for $100+ tab, you expect higher quality.

Over the years we have stopped here many times. We've always been pleased with the experience. This time we decided to come by a bit earlier in the evening. The place was empty and we were seated promptly. Our server was warm and welcoming, and very energetic. We did notice right away that the prices have increased a bit, but unfortunately that isn't overly surprising. The bread and salad were served quickly. Entrees came out promptly and were fresh. We finished the meal with the signature spumoni ice cream. All in all it was another pleasant trip. The ambiance really can't be beat to bring you back to childhood nostalgia.

Got seated immediately, drinks and appetizer came out within minutes, and the food followed quickly after. Food was delicious, perfect portions. Ambiance was relaxing and laid back, music playing in the background.

Made a reservation here on a Road Trip to Kansas. I knew it was a tourist thing with ify reviews. Such a cool place! Loved everything about the vibe. The service. Wow, the service. Everyone working there seemed like they wanted to die The hostess was THE WORST! No smiling barely a hello. And when we left she just stared at us. The waitress was better in spirits. The bus boys were on the phone. It was comical how miserable everyone looked. The food was good to mediocre. Over all ok food, decent price. Fun experience.

We love the The Old Spaghetti Factory restuarants so whenever we are near one of course we are going to stop in. This particular one we have been to before in Saint Louis. Can't go wrong with anything here you order. This particular visit we didn't have reservations but got seated after about 10 minutes. Our server, Dmoriya, was extremely attentive and friendly. We were impressed how the very young staff helped out each other and worked together. Our food came our hot and we never had to ask for more bread or refills on our drinks. Overall, we had one of the best experiences we have ever at this location and we also like its unique decor.

I haven't been to The Old Spaghetti Factory since I was little, so I decided to try them again for Valentine's Day this year. The interior was absolutely beautiful and provided a cozy, romantic ambiance. The service and food was great. We were able to find a good god parking spot that day surprisingly. I'm excited to go back!

Failed to provide my full order, failed to provide a refund, and failed to make good spaghetti! While traveling for work, on 26 August I ordered delivery using DoorDash. My hotel (Hilton) was just under 1 mile from the restaurant so maybe this is my fault for not just walking. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and tiramisu for dessert. They were packaged in 2 paper bags for delivery. The dasher only picked up the bag with the spaghetti, leaving behind my $9 tiramisu. Here's where my main complaint begins- I called the restaurant and they confirmed that the tiramisu was indeed still sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up, but refused to deliver it or to refund my money. They said I had to call DoorDash for support, so I did. DoorDash says that only the restaurant can fix the problem or provide a refund and they offered to call the restaurant on my behalf. So DoorDash negotiates a refund for the tiramisu, restaurant agrees, and as of 28 September (1 month later) I have not yet received the refund. Also, for a restaurant called the Old Spaghetti Factory, I really expected the spaghetti to be made faster and to taste better. It took an hour to get food from 1 mile away, and the noodles were overcooked and the sauce was not flavorful. It tasted like the used too much tomato paste and not enough of basically everything else.

Very important, join waitlist instead of walk in to wait. Visited on Friday evening on president day weekend, we waited for 3 hours to get seated!!! We were asked to wait at their bar area, finished our drinks for two rounds and yet no sign of getting the seat. Spaghetti, meatballs, mizithra cheese with browned butter, and the spumoni ice cream. All were mediocre not worth the wait.

This is my first dining experience here. Upon entering I felt less than welcomed. We told them we were meeting up with our party and the four workers standing behind the host stand just stared at us and looked at each other. The group ordered garlic cheese bread as an appetizer, it was tasty with a good helping of sauce. Upon sitting with our group, the waitress asked if we would like a drink. I ordered an espresso martini as I have been trying espresso martinis from many different restaurants as a personal mission to find the best one. This was the worst one thus far. The menu stated Kahlua was in the drink, however, the drink came pitch black. It tasted like vodka, espresso and the "dash" of simple syrup was too much syrup. It was not good. I asked the waitress for it to be remade with kahlua and she stepped around the corner with the glass. She came back, said they "miraculously" had one made up and I'm pretty sure she gave me the same drink back and asked if it was better, still with no Kahlua. She said that was only in the latte-tini. See menu photo for actual drink listing. The spaghetti was good, I ordered the Pot Pourri. It was a sample of three of the sauces on a plate of spaghetti. You receive spumoni ice cream with the meal, although, there is no longer a choice of flavor. There used to be a vanilla and chocolate alternative. The ambiance was difficult to describe, I guess this is a chain but we sat right in front of the kitchen hallway. At one point we had to ask the waitress to refill water and when the boxes came out, they were small Chinese takeout boxes. I had to wait for her to return to ask for an additional togo box. I would suggest trying this place at least once, the food is good.

Went to The Old Spaghetti Factory meeting friends. Went there few times but not in long time. Service was very friendly and always gives us to order. I ordered the sampler's. I have 4 small amount of spaghetti. Marinara, meat sauce, clam and Parmesan brown butter spaghetti. They were delicious. I'd come back again

I was taught by brother that you should book your first dinner reservation as after flying all day, one is tired, and not able to make good decisions...hence eating at a TGI Fridays in New Orleans on our first night. I have heard about that since. Charlie's had the perfect vibe going as it has a great reputation. Wendy was also simply amazing and shared may stories of St Louis and was just a tremendous server. The only thing that tricked us was the Toasted Ravioli. It has meat in it, and my wife is vegetarian. The Arancini was terrific and the table bread was also quite tasty. My wife had the Manicotti and I had the Chicken Lemonata. So great. The bottle of the house Gitto's Red was the perfect wine as well. Although claiming to have invented the toasted ravs, really did not enjoy them. Caprese salad was good for this time of year- early June. My go to meal to rate Italian restaurants is chicken Marsala, and was unfortunately the worst. Chicken was overcooked, rather tasteless and hard to cut. Very little sauce, but good mushrooms. Side of red pasta helped but was too sweet.

I was visiting St. Louis for the first time and I wanted to try foods that St. Louis was known for…read more(according to online research) and toasted ravioli kept popping up. Being from the Bay Area in California, I had never heard of toasted ravioli so I added it to my itinerary. I found this place on Yelp and saw that Guy Fieri (another Bay Area native) had featured it on his show so I settled on Anthonino's. I walked over from the Botanical Garden on a Friday afternoon around 12pm so that I could get a better feel of the streets, locals, surrounding shops, and the Hill neighborhood. The area was very calm, clean, safe and had a sense of pride. I enjoyed the sights and sounds throughout the streets and by the time I arrived at the front door, I was super excited to eat. I was seated quickly at the bar and given a menu and water. The bar staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to and also took my order within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly filled up behind me and it was a lively environment. I really appreciated that the TVs had sports shows on (huge sports fan and was in town to visit Busch Stadium) so it gives you something to look at. I ordered the toasted ravioli and a tiramisu. As a solo traveler, I have to limit how much I can order so this was the perfect amount for me. The food was amazing and I wished that I could have tried more plates. The ravioli had great flavors and texture and the tiramisu was so creamy and fresh. I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself. The customer service from all staff members was amazing! Thank you for this experience :)

While traveling through Missouri, my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. I searched…read moreYelp and came across Anthonino's. I also remembered seeing it featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we figured it had to be worth a try. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but noticed a few open seats at the bar and asked if we could sit there instead. The two bartenders welcomed us right away and told us they would take good care of us throughout the evening. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I started with an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli ($14), which is handmade in-house and filled with ground beef, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheese, served with marinara sauce. It's one of the dishes featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala ($23), and I went with the Bolognese ($17), made with veal, pork, red wine gravy, cresta di gallo pasta, stracciatella, and Calabrian chili oil. The toasted ravioli arrived looking great. I tried one without the sauce first. The fresh pasta didn't fry up quite the way I expected. It was more flaky than crispy, and I was hoping for a little more crunch. The filling was decent but could have used a bit more seasoning and flavor. The marinara sauce also had a bitterness to it that wasn't my favorite. When our entrées arrived, both dishes looked and smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. My wife's Chicken Marsala had good flavor overall, but the side pasta was very gummy, and the sauce again had a bitter note that seemed to overpower the dish. My Bolognese was the biggest disappointment of the evening. When I think of Bolognese or a rich meat ragù, I usually expect a wider pasta such as pappardelle. The cresta di gallo pasta wasn't my favorite choice for the dish, and it also had a gummy texture. The sauce itself suffered from the same bitterness that we noticed throughout the meal. Looking back, I probably should have ordered the Carbonara once I realized the Bolognese wasn't being served with the type of pasta I was hoping for. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't quite meet the expectations we had after seeing the restaurant featured on television and reading the reviews. The service was excellent, and the bartenders did a fantastic job taking care of us. While this visit was a bit disappointing, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked great, and I would be willing to give Anthonino's another try and order something different.

I have had salve osteria on the hit list for a while, and my expectations were far exceeded. This place is both insanely busy and also a hidden gem at the same time. It does not get the attention, nor press it deserves. The place is jumping with good people and good vibes. I got their New Years special which was prix fixe with prime rib as the main event. Everything was superb. The cassoulet had a beautiful spice with a velvety texture. The crab tom yum risotto was so decadent. Silky smooth from the coconut with a beautiful herby finish from the mint chili oil to complement the crab. I never thought I'd say this, but the brussel sprouts stole the show! Cooked in some bacon fat they were crunchy, salty, and perfect. Oh, and the prime rib was everything a kid could ever dream of. Fatty and the cacao rub was amazing. The horseradish was spectacular. The whipped potatoes were light and airy. Think of mashed potatoes in whipped cream form. A texture and flavor combination I will now dream of because I imagine I will never get to experience something so lovely again. As for cocktails, i kept it simple with a martini... I mean, it is a gin bar, how could I not? The service was great. I was dining solo and the servers and bar tender kept me updated, well taken care, and treated with intense hospitality. I did have one issue: I ordered a Barr Hill Vodka Martini at a premium price, and it had a strong taste of Juniper. I alerted the staff and they were very apologetic and understanding, unfortunately the manager assured me it was Vodka and didn't acknowledge the possibility it tasted like gin. I'm guessing bartender failed to rinse the shaker properly after the previous gin shake, resulting in a vodka drink with a strong gin flavor. The staff kindly replaced the drink with a lower quality vodka that helped satisfy me. The situation was resolved, but I walked away feeling misunderstood and dismissed by the owner. She didn't like the red onion, but had asked for balsamic vinegar on the side, which she added to the salad, and when I tried the balsamic vinegar, even I realized that it is one of the best that I have ever had. My daughter went with the gnocchi, and said that it was among the best that she had ever had. We shared a veal and mushroom risotto between the two of us, and it was perfectly moist, the veal was not overpowering, and it was perfectly cooked. The veal just simply melted in the mouth. My osso buco came on a saffron risotto, and the osso buco was fantastic, tender, and simply delightful. I enjoyed the marrow very much, but I almost wished that the dish came with polenta, not risotto. However, it was still magnificent. We took dessert to go, because we couldn't finish everything at all. However, this is definitely not going to be the last time we come here. The ambience was fantastic, very intimate, darkly lit, but still noisy, with people having fun here. Our service was top of the line, with great humor. Give this place a try. You won't be upset, neither will you regret it. Our compliments to the chef, staff, and owner. What a home run.

The restaurant looked amazing, and I was somewhat surprised that they served their regular menu as opposed to a limited menu as many places do on a holiday. My daughter and I both had the salmon meal while her friend tried a special, grouper. My salmon filet was perfectly done and the pasta and fresh vegetables it was served on was fantastic. Tori had an aperol spritz and it was delicious while I stayed with a soft drink so nothing to share there. Both of them enjoyed their entrees commenting on freshness and flavor. For dessert they selected cannellonis and I had a slice of their house made cheesecake and a cup of coffee. Dessert was just as delicious as the entrees were. It is very costly but for a white table cloth dinner to celebrate both a birthday and NYE it was amazing. The service was splendid, our server was a beautiful young lady with suggestions on selections, the bussers were busy seemingly there waiting for you to finish so that they could remove your plate. I hope to return soon on a dinner date that with a lady I would like to impress.

It really is consistently good and we've never had a bad experience here. We started with cocktails and I had the espresso martini. It was very good! She had more of a fruity martini and also enjoyed it. They give you bread which is always a plus, and we started with an appetizer of mozzarella fritti which was fresh mozzarella and fried. Delicious. We also obviously had to get the salad and it was so good with the house dressing. We had the chicken piccata and the pollo Soto. My piccata came with a side of pasta and was very tasty. I loved the lemon and the capers. Our server was kind and helpful. I definitely recommend making a reservation because we went at noon on a Saturday and it was poppin! I'll be back :)

The interior is nothing fancy, but it has that standard charm of The Hill. The service was excellent, we had Katie. She could have told us she went to WashU and majored in waitressing and we would have believed her. Prompt, professional but slightly personable. Good combo. The food was GREAT. We couldn't decide which was better, the Chicken Picatta or the Chicken Speidini. They were both super high quality poultry mixed with a rich and flavorful sauce, yum. Katie even let us make the side shells "pink", by mixing marinara and Alfredo for us. The only reason I'm subtracting a star is that our salads were a bit wilted -- my Mom kept running into some weird looking greens. Regardless, we'll be back.
