According to other comments, it gets busy here but we went during a week day so did not have to wait (although one customer complained that their food took a while to get there and they were just right behind us getting into the restaurant so I don't blame them) As from me. I do love that they had a variety of omelettes (I went with the Greek). My cousin ordered a platter of some sort. He asked for 2 eggs but it sure did look like a 1 egg serving. I also got the waffle + caramel banana. We thought the food was okay. Not bad, not special. I appreciate the home comfy essence that the small restaurant gives off.

Don't walk....run here for the food and Service!! 5-stars across the board. And that doesn't even include the Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. Delicious!! There are enough pictures of the food so I will post a different kind of picture....the proof the food is so good. A picky-self eating teenager, a growing boy, and two adults hopped up on early morning coffee and this is all that was left after we licked the plates clean

This place was so good! I love sausage gravy and when I saw they had an omelette that came with sausage gravy I had to get it. But I was surprised, usually when you think of sausage gravy you think of a huge heaping over the eggs but this was even better. The gravy seems folded in with the cheese and the whole thing was such a savory delight. Potatoes cooked perfectly and they didn't skimp on the butter on my bread. This is a small space so you may have to wait. They take your phone number and call you when your table is ready. There isn't a hostess stand so I had to go towards the back to ask a waiter how to get on the list. Very close to old town so stay afterwards and take a stroll to the farmers market or perhaps the train station.

Cute location in non-descript strip mall in downtown Manassas. Visited on a Friday before lunch rush. Made it just in time to be seated right away. Watched 3 other parties come and go because indoor seating was full. Seems like a family owned business. The two servers had great attitudes and were very attentive. Midnight in Paris crepe was delish! Great appetizer before our breakfast came out. Recommend the biscuits and gravy and New Orleans omelet.

Omelette Cafe has always been great in our book but this place completely leveled up and I'm here for it! During our last visit, we had Country Fried Chicken, freshly-squeezed orange juice, and crepe. I really found everything excellent! The crepe (new on their menu) was fantastic as well as the Country Fried Chicken. The service was amazing and the prices are reasonable as always. I wish this place expands because they definitely have loyal customers like us.

Brunch time! Another spot to add on the list .Easy check in to get a table at this brunch spot wait time was like 5 minutes even when it was crowded and the service was overall good and the food was tasty I tired the new Orleans omelette with there house fries and fresh squeezed orange mimosa. The seating was nicely distributed and comfortable. The food and drinks were a good price range not overly expensive definitely will recommend this spot if your looking for a comfortable breakfast and brunch spot for friends or family or even for solo travel 10/10 experience

Super simple brunch stop, this place is straight forward and super casual. The staff was sweet, patient, and helpful while dealing with my high maintenance food allergies. They realized we were there to catch up with one another and gave us time and space for our socializing and didn't rush us off, super sweet. I could tell most others were there for a quick bite and the staff were appropriately attentive with them as well. The food was straight forward, simple, and delicious. Hit all the right marks for our cravings. I will come again.

The food and service were outstanding. The only minor drawback is that the space is a bit small, but overall the experience was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Pancakes were good I asked for crispy bacon and got crispy bacon. Seems there was only one waiter and with most of the tables occupied he seemed overwhelmed but still provided great service. I was alone but I will definitely bring my family back sometime.

Very small restaurant, no really waiting space for seating. Can be confusing to determine who gets the next table since there is no hostess or station for waiting. Luckily it was nice weather when we went that sitting outside was nice. Many omelet choices; chorizo omelet was ok. My son had the steak and eggs. The steak was very tasty. I have read good things about this place, we were disappointed. Service was very good, friendly, prompt. Husband got the chicken fajita omelet. It was smaller than expected. Sour cream and salsa were inside the omelet and took a while to discover. The veggies were small. The home fries were actually pretty good but could use a little more salt. I ordered blueberry flavored waffles. The word "flavored" should have been a clue. The waffle itself looked good, crispy and fluffy. No butter, was not given syrup, large dollop of whipped cream ream instead. The "blueberry flavor" was the smallest amount of a blueberry jelly that was just dragged across the top of the corners. It would be easy enough to add fresh blueberries to a base batter when ordered. This was ridiculous The website listed several coffee and espresso items, apparently it's only the new Warrenton location. Their coffee was watered down, they pour the cream for you if you ask for it instead of letting you do your own. My husband asked for sweet tea, they didn't say they didn't have sweet tea, they just made it for him, would have preferred to be told they had tea and brought him sugar. The tea was also weak or watered down tasting. Don't plan to return.

First time visiting The Omelette Cafe earlier this morning. It was rather late for breakfast - about 11:30 am or so - but they serve breakfast all day (I should say - as long as they are open). I ordered the sausage gravy over biscuits, which comes with crispy potatoes, plus two eggs over easy - and a water. Food came up quickly. Sausage gravy was tasty. As always - I add black pepper and hot sauce to the sausage gravy - and eggs. The potatoes were hot and crispy - they needed just a tad of salt - which I added. The Men's restroom is need of a renovation and cleaning. The exhaust fan grill was clogged with dust and needs to be cleaned. There was an open hole in the wall near the floor - which is probably part of the HVAC system - but the hole was uncovered and missing its vent cover. And everything in the bathroom needed a good cleaning. Service was very good. Paid at the register with Apple Pay. #TheOmeletteCafe

Easily one of the best breakfast spots in the area. The portion sizes don't look like they could put you to sleep but boy did they! I've had this spot at least 3 times in the last two weeks. Every time I try something new and it's all worth it ! I can see me becoming a regular here ! read more

We came in on a Sunday morning, we understand it was busy. We got sat outside at a table with one chair for two people and they never brought us another chair. Servers were dropping food off at other tables outside meanwhile we were never acknowledged after we got sat. Another guest offered us their chair because they were finishing up. After finally getting a second chair, we sat at the table for over 10 minutes. Ultimately, we left after never being greeted at the table. read more

I'm so glad I found this cute little shop on Yelp! A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and he wanted to grab brunch so we decided to try this out. Portions are very generous and with "omelette" in the store name, you have to try one of their omelettes! It comes with home fries and your choice of bagel. Super filling and super delicious. It's a small shop so it definitely gets crowded during peak hours - but that's how you know it's good! There's so many different food options that I'll have to make another trip out here again to try the rest of the menu! read more

Came for brunch with my father around 1:00pm, ordered the pancake platter and my father ordered the Mexican omelette. We were pleased to see how fast the food came out and how well it looked. The server was cool dude and was very polite and helpful. The establishment looked family run so that's always a plus. read more

An amazing find an old town Manassas! Our broker found this gem of a breakfast spot for us to all grab a bite together. The food is really fresh, and delicious! The home fries are some of the best I've ever had, really well seasoned without a lot of onions or peppers. The biggest winner was fresh squeezed orange juice, which I highly recommend. In town for a funeral and tried this place, the service was slow, the food even slower and definitely not worth the stars that swayed our decision to dine here. The only good thing was the fresh squeezed orange juice. No lemons for the water (after waiting 15 minutes for the water). The can of tea marked .99 was almost $3 on the bill. The creamed chipped beef was just gravy over soggy toast - no beef. The flies flying all over seemed to enjoy the food though so at least someone was happy. Did I mention the servers have no personality? Awful! read more

What an outstanding breakfast experience at this new Cafe that was formerly the Deli Depot! They have a great menu with a variety of omelette styles as well as standard breakfast favorites including eggs Benedict and bagels. I had the Southwestern style & James had the Depot. We were both amazed at the quality and portion. They use 3 eggs in each omelette and it comes with your choice of fries or bagel. Great family owned local restaurant in Old Town Manassas, check it out! read more

I had breakfast here two days in a row. I chose the delicious experience of the French omelette, then the Greek. Although the cafe was busy there was only a short wait. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent...young yet professional personnel. Family friendly, couples, singles. I used to LOVE this place and order for them almost daily. I stopped because of a very poor customer service experience, and after almost a year, decided to give them another shot this morning. Bad taste in my mouth all over again! I placed my order online and the delivery driver showed up without one of my items. When I asked, he told me that they ran out. It was a drink order, so I asked why nobody called me to ask what I'd like instead. He could not provide an answer, and I didn't want to give him a hard time for something he may not have had control over. I called the establishment and was told the same thing; that they ran out. Ok, fine...but why didn't you call and ask me what I wanted instead of omitting my item and STILL charging me? He too, had no excuse. I asked him to just refund the charge and he said "OK!" then HUNG UP ON ME. I called right back and asked, "Did you just hang up on me?" His response was, "Yes! You asked for a refund for your item so I'm going to refund you." I told him that is NOT how you deal with something like this. You do not charge someone for something and then when THEY have to ask to be refunded because you didn't have it in the first place, just hang up on them! In this time where people are trying to support local businesses as much as possible while being selective with where they spend their money, this establishment has once again missed the mark! read more

Delicious! The menu has everything you may want for breakfast! The pancakes were yummy and the bacon crisp! I couldn't resist the biscuits and gravy and they were accommodating letting me order one. Well, I took my wife for lunch today to my favorite breakfast place. The place looked like a bomb went off, dirty floors, trashed tables, and servers hanging about in a huddle. My order was messed up, the salt and pepper shakers were dirty and empty, There was no Coffee, the mugs had stains and the place was dirty. My usual server was on duty and at one point mentioned Cinco de Mayo day to me. He knows full and well that I am German and I took this as a ribbing on his part. My comment was simple: you are right, but it is a Mexican holiday and it does not apply to me. Well, did I open a can of worms, an employee, female type, teenager, and Latino took exception to my comment and stated that she should walk around with a sombrero and my comment was insulting. Really? well, let's see...St Patrick's Day, Eid, Christmas, 4th of July, Yom Kippur and many other holidays or special days DO NOT APPLY TO ME. While I will gladly take the time off, I do not celebrate those days. To the Teen that took my comments personal: As for insulting, learn the meaning of the word, and do not assume that every comment in the restaurant is about you. What makes this situation even funnier...my server is also not from Mexico. Lastly, if you where as focused on the success of the restaurant as you are on what you perceive to be comments about your heritage, this place would not have looked the way it did. read more

Food was quite good. Menu is limited but has some interesting features. Could use more breakfast sides. Options were home fries or fruit. Ordered Nova Eggs Benedict which typically comes with 2 spears of grilled asparagus and home fries. Substituted fruit cup of cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Service was nonexistent or at least inexperienced. 4 or 5 gentleman walking around whose sole function appears to take your order or ask you if you're ready for the check. Exception was one lady (who actually brought my order - minus my side which I had to ask for.). Staff needs basic training on servicing and reading customers. Had to all but brew my own coffee when it came to refills. Never did my waiter check on me, my meal, or coffee/drink refills. The atmosphere is fast dining with about a dozen four person tables inside an two outdoor tables. No music or sound track to cover clanking of dishes and kitchen prep. Hopefully, service will improve. Oh and as I was writing the review- the one lady came over and asked me if I was done. Something that didn't happen to any other guest. The wait was one person and another table immediately opened up. What a dining experience. Not. read more

Finally crossing this place off my list, ordered delivery this morning. I was surprised that the eggs Benedict was still intact and not cold when it arrived, which was awesome. There was something missing though, from the taste that I can't quite put my finger on. The home fries were great and salted perfectly. I think the expectation for the Mexican platter would be that there would be a bit more, but still very good as well. Overall not too bad, I'll have to try other items if I swing through on this again. read more

The service was not good! They are not friendly, they don't check on you to see if everything is ok or if you need anything else. I was there my friends and the lady basically quick us out , I was still drinking my coffee and she said that was a business that there was people waiting and that I had only 5 minutes to finish drinking my coffee and leave , it's not like I wanted spend the whole morning there. I think she was rude and she should treat people with kindness cause everyone that goes there makes that restaurant stay in business. read more

This place is a little hole in the wall inside old town Manassas. Great place for breakfast (both here and to go) But don't be fooled, they have burgers, sandwiches, salads, even desserts!! Very versatile but their omelette are delicious and can't go wrong! They have good portion sizes and service is pretty speedy. The side of potato's was perfectly seasoned and warm. Roach visited our table at the end of our meal. We were sitting right by the kitchen. They didn't seem surprised. We asked three times for lemon before they told us they were out...of lemon. They made my meal missing one of the six ingredients (capers) but didn't warn me or tell me that they were out or ask me if I wanted to change my order. They served three of us and left the fourth person without food for a while. Also, who doesn't carry decaf coffee? They wanted us to talk to the manager but we jetted after we saw the roach. My Mom is throwing up right now she is so grossed out. read more

The Omelette Cafe is a very nice little neighborhood gem. The menu was great with lots of nice options, without being overwhelming. The food was well prepared and served fast. Location is great and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. My only critique is that the staff needs to be trained to be a bit more welcoming. The staff was very nice, but need a bit of coaching to make the place achieve 5 stars. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. The owner is rude and disrespectful towards the customers. There's over 100+ employees in my job and we've had all ordered from this establishment at some point or another. However, there are many times where the order is incomplete or the description online does not match what is on the plate. This has happened quite often and to avoid complaining my coworkers sometimes just let it be. But not today, the order was completely wrong and my coworker is in recovery she can not eat what was sent to her. We called to ask what could be done and the owner got loud and would not listen. As a business owner, he should listen to understand not listen to have a comeback. That's a basic rule in customer service. He went on to say that he has multiple businesses and he decided not to service us any longer because he needs to make money not lose it for fixing his own staffs mistakes. This is fine because as an owner he has the right to refuse service but he just lost over 100 customers from this establishment alone for being petty, rude and refusing to listen. read more

My wife and I had an amazing first visit to The Omelette Cafe, and I can guarantee that we will be going back again and again. We arrived a bit after noon and the restaurant wasn't too busy. The service was friendly, the seating was comfortable, and we received attention right away. I ordered the eggs benedict and I was blown away. The hollandaise sauce was homemade, and I could tell - the flavors were rich and tasty. The eggs were perfectly poached, the home fries were crisp yet almost melted in my mouth, and overall it was one of the best eggs benedicts I've ever had. My wife ordered the fresh made orange juice (amazing flavor and obviously as fresh as it gets) and the the Canadian omelette. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the hams and onions were nice and fresh and the home fries once again were amazing. If you're looking for a breakfast in Manassas there are a fair number of options, but The Omelette Cafe has become my immediate, number one go to place moving forward.
