Checked the breakfast out 1 times me had Western omelette 2nd time had sausage gravy over biscuits flavor wise it was ok the omelette is only a 2 eggs omelette so it is small sausage gravy over biscuit was good just to. The home-fries were good. Only two minor issues one is I wanted ketchup for the home fries bottle at the table was empty the waiter never did come back around both times I was there. Waiter drops the food off and that's it till it's check time. So good luck if you need anything. So I went to 3 tables looking for ketchup all of them were almost empty finally found one on the fourth table. When it comes time to pay the check the waiter stands over you hoping to guilt u into leaving a large tip on the device . Lol I took the device out of his hands and gave what I thought was an appropriate tip and printed my own receipt from the device . I thought he was gonna have a baby because I took the device. Maybe he thought I'm feeble minded as to not be able to figure out how to use it .lol I do hate it when they stand over you. I'm so glad I found this cute little shop on Yelp! A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and he wanted to grab brunch so we decided to try this out. Portions are very generous and with "omelette" in the store name, you have to try one of their omelettes! It comes with home fries and your choice of bagel. Super filling and super delicious. It's a small shop so it definitely gets crowded during peak hours - but that's how you know it's good! We came in on a Sunday morning, we understand it was busy. We got sat outside at a table with one chair for two people and they never brought us another chair. Servers were dropping food off at other tables outside meanwhile we were never acknowledged after we got sat. Another guest offered us their chair because they were finishing up. They have a great menu with a variety of omelette styles as well as standard breakfast favorites including eggs Benedict and bagels. I had the Southwestern style & James had the Depot. I used to LOVE this place and order for them almost daily. I stopped because of a very poor customer service experience, and after almost a year, decided to give them another shot this morning. Bad taste in my mouth all over again! I placed my order online and the delivery driver showed up without one of my items. When I asked, he told me that they ran out. It was a drink order, so I asked why nobody called me to ask what I'd like instead. He could not provide an answer, and I didn't want to give him a hard time for something he may not have had control over. I called the establishment and was told the same thing; that they ran out. Ok, fine...but why didn't you call and ask me what I wanted instead of omitting my item and STILL charging me? He too, had no excuse. I asked him to just refund the charge and he said "OK!" then HUNG UP ON ME. I called right back and asked, "Did you just hang up on me?" His response was, "Yes! You asked for a refund for your item so I'm going to refund you." I told him that is NOT how you deal with something like this. You do not charge someone for something and then when THEY have to ask to be refunded because you didn't have it in the first place, just hang up on them! In this time where people are trying to support local businesses as much as possible while being selective with where they spend their money, this establishment has once again missed the mark! read more

Well, I took my wife for lunch today to my favorite breakfast place. The place looked like a bomb went off, dirty floors, trashed tables, and servers hanging about in a huddle. My order was messed up, the salt and pepper shakers were dirty and empty, There was no Coffee, the mugs had stains and the place was dirty. My usual server was on duty and at one point mentioned Cinco de Mayo day to me. He knows full and well that I am German and I took this as a ribbing on his part. My comment was simple: you are right, but it is a Mexican holiday and it does not apply to me. Well, did I open a can of worms, an employee, female type, teenager, and Latino took exception to my comment and stated that she should walk around with a sombrero and my comment was insulting. Really? well, let's see...St Patrick's Day, Eid, Christmas, 4th of July, Yom Kippur and many other holidays or special days DO NOT APPLY TO ME. While I will gladly take the time off, I do not celebrate those days. To the Teen that took my comments personal: As for insulting, learn the meaning of the word, and do not assume that every comment in the restaurant is about you. What makes this situation even funnier...my server is also not from Mexico. Lastly, if you where as focused on the success of the restaurant as you are on what you perceive to be comments about your heritage, this place would not have looked the way it did. read more

Ordered Nova Eggs Benedict which typically comes with 2 spears of grilled asparagus and home fries. Substituted fruit cup of cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Service was nonexistent or at least inexperienced. 4 or 5 gentleman walking around whose sole function appears to take your order or ask you if you're ready for the check. Exception was one lady (who actually brought my order - minus my side which I had to ask for.). Staff needs basic training on servicing and reading customers. Had to all but brew my own coffee when it came to refills. Never did my waiter check on me, my meal, or coffee/drink refills. The atmosphere is fast dining with about a dozen four person tables inside an two outdoor tables. No music or sound track to cover clanking of dishes and kitchen prep. Hopefully, service will improve. Oh and as I was writing the review- the one lady came over and asked me if I was done. Something that didn't happen to any other guest. I was there my friends and the lady basically quick us out , I was still drinking my coffee and she said that was a business that there was people waiting and that I had only 5 minutes to finish drinking my coffee and leave , it's not like I wanted spend the whole morning there.
