Not sure what the big buzz it's about. I been 2 times, first time I tried there pastrami it was just ok like any other pastrami. Second time I tried there tri-tip it was not what I was expecting. The tri-tip had lettuce and it look like a regular sandwich not a tri-tip sandwich. The ice cream is good. This place has NEVER disappointed me. The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because it's extremely cramped inside and the line sometimes has to go out the door, and standing in the hot sun isn't so fun-however, the food is simply AMAZING. I've only had the turkey sandwich (hot) and seriously it just gets better every single time. They also give you a choice (for your drink) of a can of soda, or their iced tea.. The iced tea is excellent! Very refreshing, has an orange twist to it. And last but not least, dessert. The orange icecream is sooo fantastic-tastes very natural and compliments a hot day very well. I've never had a problem with the customer service there. So, my only complaints would be 1) size. 2) their system in which they deliver your food. There aren't number cards so they're just wandering outside at the tables looking for you, which isn't a big deal but just seems like more trouble for them. Overall, this place is really great and I would definitely recommend trying it out. Be prepared to sit outside, but also be prepared for awesome food. read more

This place is a joke. I was picking up an order for my sister and her friends. They called and placed the order at 11am and let them know it will be picked up at 12:45. I left at 2:25 after arriving at 12:40 exactly. So unorganized. I didn't know which "line" to stand in. Apparently there are two lines in the 4 ft space they have up in the front. One is the regular line to stand in to place your order. The other, which was a sad excuse for a line, is for pick up/getting ice cream samples/ getting your cup of ice cream/refill your drink (why do you have to stay in this mosh pit type line to get a refill?). It was so crowded and gross because the bathroom is literally right there. How is that even sanitary? Disgusting. Tell me how people who got there AFTER me got their orders before me. Mind you these are not people who called ahead of time. I saw someone making a list of things to order for their group of people while waiting in line lo and behold they got their order before me. I also noticed they have no people skills. Bad attitude with all of them. Someone told a worker they had been waiting for their order since 12 which by this time it was past 1 o'clock and he shrugged his shoulders and said "my bad" lol okay. People actually waste their time waiting and pay for sandwiches they can easily make at home. Anyway. After nearly everyone was gone I finally got my order. Took a nice drive with the purpose of stopping at The Orange Works. Had the lunch special (sandwich, chips drink and jr. ice cream) for just under $10. I had the pastrami (offered hot or cold...hot of course!) Received our food outside after a short wait. The sandwich was VERY good with the bread being the star. The get it fresh daily from a local bakery. The meat and condiment ratio was great and you could enjoy all components. It's in the middle of no where (Strathmore) but it's well worth going a bit out of your way. The only thing to get is the tri tip sandwich with tea and it comes with ice cream (typically orange but they occasionally have other flavors).
