Tried the banana coffee after a recommendation from a friend and it was so good! I will say it's a little pricey at $10, but it's one size and the size is luckily bigger than I thought it would be. It comes iced and if you're sensitive to caffeine like me, you can order this as a decaf banana coffee--and it still tastes amazing! I ordered this on a super hot summer day and it was so flavorful--a mix of coffee, banana, coconut, and chocolate. Would definitely get this again!

Rachel is fabulous, she is so busy and yet so tentative to all of the customers she helped while I was there! The coffee was fabulous and I can't wait to go back and try the banana drink next time! The environment is great, a place to meet with friends or set up a small work station for a small amount of time. I had a great time! Thank you Rachel!

This Saturday I checked out the Organic Bean for the first time! The corner coffee shop is so cute and welcoming. I ordered a lavender latte and browsed next door at the Beetle Bodega while I waited for my coffee. The service was great and the latte was delicious. I'll be adding the Organic Bean to my local favorites.

I love this little area that The Organic Bean Cafe is tucked in! I have frequented the Green Belt before for other shops, but today was a first time visit for OBC! Such a cute little cafe and much larger with seating in the back, that I was unaware of. I would most definitely return to for a coffee date or to do a little work at! Upon entering I was so warmly greeted by the barista. She was so friendly and really made the experience so lovely! Their menu features primarily classic coffee, espresso and tea offerings, along with a few specialty items. She mentioned their Banana Coffee is one of their most popular, which is a chocolate banana latte of sorts. I did not try it this time around, but will most definitely be trying next time around! I went for a classic cold brew, no sweetner and heavy cream floater. Simple and delicious! I then got one of their more popular pastries, the blueberry streusel muffin, which was DELICIOUS. So moist and flavorful with massive blueberries and a delicious topping. They also had a chocolate chip banana muffin offering. The barista let me know their pastries are 100% GF, vegan and paleo. I never would have known! They get them from a local baker and is the only cafe you can snag them! They also offer outside seating and overall well worth a spot for any caffeine needs! I will definitely be visiting again!

I have been on a vanilla latte kick lately and desperately needed one yesterday while in Downtown Mesa. I've been to Downtown Mesa PLENTY of times, but had never visited The Organic Bean Cafe, and I'm sorry to say I have regrets of taking so long. I ordered my latte and browsed while it was being made, and I saw the space beyond the coffee bar. It was a small area of some tables and chairs, cozy and quiet. As a former writer (pre-mom stage), I probably would have been here with my many notebooks and extra pens. I loved the latte and helped me power through the rest of our stroll through Downtown Mesa Great coffee, great look, great service!

Wow! I feel blessed to live within a 5 minute drive of OBC! Their coffee is always on point. I love my coffee creamy and tasty - and OBC does not disappoint. The interior has great vibes and is very clean. They have opened up more to their coffee shop to allow for indoor seating. A great place to meet up with a friend. I believe they also have wine there as well! Service is always great! I am always greeted with a smile. I'm happy to continue supporting my local coffee shop!

Boutique little coffee shop that really cares about clean sourcing and proper brewing. Coldbrew is smooth and chocolately. Cappuccino is perfectly foamed. I asked for an extra shot and a touch of cinnamon. Sometimes they have gluten free treats. read more

Not sure what brand of coffee they have sourced but, it is really really good. I usually need at least a small amount of creamer to cut the acid/bitter in drip coffee but, NOT here!! So smooth, so tasty and reasonably priced. read more

The mocha ice coffee was excellent and also the organic gluten free cinnamon small bagel. One of the owners was there and really helps makes this place the 5 star rating. It is a hole in the wall type place but worth the time to find and enjoy. I am a tourist and love places that are hidden gems to find. read more

Cute little place tucked away in downtown Mesa. Love finding local businesses like this to support. I'm a tea drinker and they only have a couple to choose from. I've been wanting to try this cafe for quite some time since moving to Mesa. It's super cute, and I was greeted with big smiles from behind the counter! It has an extended area which I think literally just opened two days ago. I came during a time when several customers came and ordered at the same time. The owner and her associate were so so gracious and overly apologetic for my having to wait. They didn't have to apologize because there was nothing to apologize for! I really didn't mind! Also, I honestly didn't wait very long! We all have to be courteous of each other and understand that we will all get served when it is our turn. I can understand her concern because people these days don't seem to want to wait for anything, but it was such a lovely day! The weather was beautiful, and I waited at the front patio! The owner expressed her care in wanting me to have a good first time experience, and I did! If there are a lot of customers, that's a good thing! I had the banana coffee, and it was yummy! I definitely recommend it, and I am positive that any drink on the menu will be just as excellent. You can customize your own drink in addition to what is already on the menu. You can see that the owner takes great care with making each drink and truly cares about customer service. We have to support local small businesses because they really care about what they do and the service they provide. Thank you to The Organic Bean Cafe! Will definitely be a regular customer. Wow. What a fantastic spot! I'm skeptical of any new coffee shop and rolled the dice on OBC- thinking they had the best vibe out of all of the other local shops I observed on yelp. Boy was my intuition rewarded well over in terms of flavor, vibe, dub reggae music, and really nice conversation with the owner! I'm super picky about my coffee... I have a professional machine in my house and I know the family who roast my beans. This place really delivered and hit the right buttons on my quad shot hot coconut cream americano/latte. This is hands down my favorite coffee shop ever. The owner is a sweet, beautiful soul and makes a killer cup of whatever floats your boat. If you tell her your favorite flavors, she gets a twinkle in her eye and whips you up something perfect for you. The little outdoor area is always cooler than everywhere else in the city. If you can find this place, it's worth the cup of Joe. It's a bit pricey in my opinion- but I still think the coffe was pretty good. I'm a bit of a coffee snob but like a lot of variety to mix in creams- they didn't have that much but we're more focused on the beans. Nice roasters and sampled a few options. I went here over the summer shortly after they opened. It's a quaint little space in downtown Mesa. They are one of the few coffee shops that serves bulletproof coffee. I don't understand why this isn't a staple for every coffee shop given its popularity. I really wish OBC was closer to home! read more

This place has the coziest atmosphere! Walking up to the door my friends and I felt like we were in a different city! A fabulous new addition to downtown Mesa. This place is amazing! The cold brew coffee was fantastic, the atmosphere absolutely charming. Totally worth the wait if there is a line. The double cappuccino seriously rocks. Super dig the staff/owners. I like the recycled barn wood decor. The handmade horseshoe stools are super sweet. Nice little shady spot to enjoy outside or in the winter you can take your drink out to the sunny spot by the quiet street. Great location. read more

Found this gem on Yelp and went for an experience for the lavender americano coffee. The coffee is smooth and the aroma of the lavender is distinct. I like this little place with a mom and daughter team brewing up a cup of custom made coffee (mom asked me for the sweetness, ratio of milk, and my usual taste before she made my coffee). I will definitely come back! read more

A little pricey but it's a good value considering the drinks are usually larger than other other coffee shops. Plus you can tell that the atmosphere is great, the ladies are very wonderful, and all the ingredients are high quality. If you're into the Mesa small business scene definitely visit, and give the banana coffee a try, they even gave me the leftover banana to eat! read more

I visited Organic Bean Café and instantly became obsessed with the banana coffee. The owner Rachel is so sweet and inspiring. You don't walk out with just a coffee in hand. You leave feeling happy and full of joy. This spot reminds me of the local cafés I used to love back home.
