The finished product looks and feels wonderful, the coin of antiquity and the gold pedestal having been carefully cleaned and burnished to reveal the subtle detail of the two thousand-year-old coin surface. About a week ago, my fiance brought my original engagement ring to Gem Design Jewelers to finally get it repaired. We went back 3 days ago so that they could size it to my finger, which was a very pleasant experience. Victoria was very kind and helpful (and my baby *loved* her). I asked them about price/timeline for eventually resizing my inherited set, and that's what made my experience yelp-worthy. Jeremy came over and fully explained what he would do to resize, and ultimately restructure, my set. He was very considerate of my wedding stress and reassured me that he would get them to us by Wednesday at the latest. I had no intention of leaving my very meaningful wedding set there when I walked in that day, but I am *so* glad I did! I loved this set very much from the beginning. But the way Jeremy redesigned it to my finger when he resized it, and restored it to its original beauty by fixing prongs etc (things I would not have thought of), is CRAZY.
