Just a photo of the outside it's in Eugene, Oregon. I highly recommend it if for breakfast.

Well, first off you can't go run with the parking lot is full. The place was jammed. The food was excellent. I had a just a plain little waffle. They don't make those big Belgium deep waffles. It's a nice crispy little thin waffle with warm, maple syrup and butter it was excellent.

Maybe it was an off day but it took for fucking ever to get our food, swear people who sat down 20 minutes after us got their food and we still had to wait 20 more minutes after that. I'll give them some grace and just write it off as an off day but it was not great service. Food was okay. Might come back for a redemption brunch.

Pancakes are definitely the way to go. We had half order of coconut pancakes - the tropical syrup is AMAZING, and the bacon and eggs with 3 pancakes. They asked how I like my bacon and I request crispy. The bacon is thick, and crispy is more like dehydrated than your traditional crispy bacon. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the pancakes stole the show.

The service was ok but the wait for the food was wayyyyyy to slow. The omelette took more than 30 minutes for it to be ready and the eggs benedict as well. People beside us who sat down later were getting their food way before we were. The pancakes are good but just not justifiable because of the price. Its 15 dollars for a stack!

My bf and I visited Oregon for the first time, and decided to stop and grab breakfast before heading home. The food was below my expectations, my potatoes were undercooked, eggs overcooked and my pancakes were lacking flavor. The service was quite quick and we appreciated this, however, our waitress didn't have a very welcoming demeanor at all, and at each request she wasn't very thrilled to fulfill them. The ambiance was extremely loud with no music playing. I truly would not recommend eating at this establishment.

A great little breakfast house chain that started in Portland. This one is right off of campus and when parents are in town for university or some sort of sporting event expect a wait. Well worth it too. I went with the green chile omelette and a side of biscuits and gravy..Allgood! I had some fresh squeezed orange juice that hit the spot. All Ducks sport pictures cover the walls. SCO Ducks!

We were lucky and came around 8:30 on a Sunday, beating the crowds. We were seated right away but there was a full waiting room when we left. This is a no frills old fashioned diner with an extensive menu so something for everyone. I was feeling simple so I ordered a scramble and the pancakes on the side. The pancakes are everything you would want, fluffy and flavorful. The scramble was simple, like something you would make at home. I only wish the menu offered more combinations to be able to try more dishes because they all sounded so good. Having a pancake sampler or the option to upgrade sides would be a nice touch.

Still the best pancakes and coffee in the universe. The omelettes are fantastic too. Given the great service and extensive menu it's no wonder this the original best breakfast restaurant in Oregon.

I couldn't remember the pancake my wife got. Maybe banana?? Regardless, it was great. I got the pancake meal. The bacon was the best. Nice and thick bacon. Cooked to perfection. The service was great. The ambiance was a typical diner. I loved it. The staff was all college kids and it brings a great atmosphere.

If you're looking for classic American breakfasts with traditional diner style service, you can't go wrong with The Original Pancake House. This one is located near U of O, so if you're visiting a friend or have a kid that goes to school there, this is a great spot for breakfast. We went around 8:30 to try to avoid a long wait, which I had read usually starts around 9-ish on game days. It was perfect timing. We were able to get a parking spot in their small lot (there is also street parking all around), and waited maybe only 5 minutes before we were seated. The pancakes are, of course, the focus here. My husband got the apple pancakes and they were tasty. Our son ordered the French toast, which was also fluffy and delish. I got the eggs benedict and it was the perfect hearty breakfast. I asked for crispy bacon, and they delivered. Service was good; the servers were all friendly. You get your tab at the table and then pay up front at the cash register. There's a coffee refill station where you can help yourself, too.

I tried both savory crepes and I think the shrimp avocado was even better. If you are gluten free, pay attention to the gf menu vs the regular menu, many of the toppings have gluten so the gf versions are less exciting. The cashier helped me a lot. She pointed out I should go with the mango raspberry bc of the chocolate syrup... the custard has gluten so I needed one with a different sauce. Good tip! My one complaint is they maybe need more prep surfaces. The employees were absolutely drowning and the wait was long for food to be made. I'm not docking a star though because that seems really hard to change with the space and they're just popular! Still putting it in my review bc you should know if you don't have a lot of time, you should eat somewhere else.

The crepes, althought it appears to be sweet, I didn't think mine was too sweet at all. This is just another fun way to enjoy ice cream.
