The Galley (pastrami on rye) was perfectly delicious for a Saturday brunch. Always nice coming here. Good service too!

It was so nasty. The eggs tasted like rubber and there was no flavor. I asked for cheese and they put a thick stack of american cheese on a quarter of the bagel. They barely put any bacon on the bagel not to mention that the lettuce didt even taste real.

    Freaking amazing

Good sandwiches and quick service. This place was busy to! Lots of different types of sandwiches to choose from. The menu includes options for patron with dietary restrictions. Bread is good, toppings are fresh and vegetables are crunchy. The price point for quality feels right. Parking in downtown is hit or miss, location is in more of a walkable area. Staff is polite and a definite recommend.

Good sandwiches but be careful if you craft your own. Don't add too many "things" like I did otherwise it will turn soggy pretty quickly if it's not toasted. That's what made it a bit underwhelming for me. Make sure to let them know if you'd like it toasted because I didn't mention it and my sandwich probably would have been better if it was toasted. Prices quickly add up if you add tomatoes, cheese and avocado spread. They have soups, salads and signature sandwiches that may be worth trying. Friendly staff and speedy service! Nice outdoor seating area too!

Beach themed sandwiches, salad, ice cream shop: love How It Works: You take a paper, write down your order and voila- out comes your sandwich within 5 minutes, maybe less honestly. Self-seating, friendly staff, clean place with Hamptons-like decor/feel. I ordered The Dreamland: multigrain bread with hot turkey, warm Brie, arugula and fig spread. Sandwich was definitely tasty and nicely portioned. I thought there wasn't enough Brie and too much fig spread...will def ask to have that changed next time Great place to grab a quick bite, esp in Bethesda with so many office around!

This place is great and I came here two days in a row while visiting Bethesda. I love the casual vibe and the two sandwiches I had were delish! First was the Surfside and I'd give it a 9/10 for taste and 9/10 for flavor as the mustard makes it! SURFSIDE $10.95 Roasted turkey, havarti, bacon, avocado, and whole grain mustard on sourdough. Second was the Sconset and I'd give it a 9.5/10 for taste and crunch and just pure yumminess: SCONSET $9.95 Hummus, muenster cheese, sprouts, tomato, carrots, cucumbers and avocado on multigrain. The place is clean, so convenient and open 7 days a week. I already miss these sandwiches and want to go back to MD so I can have another one soon!

I'm never impressed with anything I order here. I think your best bet is the cheesesteak. Over hyped. Maybe other locations are better

Had a cheese steak sandwich which was among the best we've ever had. I hope they open one in Virginia.

I've been to this location three times. Each time, I've interacted with different team members. The personalities and friendliness of the team there is top notch. I've had some good laughs and conversations with them. The location is always clean, the service is fast, and the sandwiches are tasty! My go to, you ask!??.... "The Wreck!" Make no mistake about it. Thank me later! The sandwich is beastly good!! Loaded with just about every meat and topping, they have to offer. You can go full Monty or scale it down to your liking, but either way it is mad delicious and you can't go wrong with this sandwich. You can't go wrong with this sandwich shop and I recommend!

I've been coming here for years, and it's always a dependable, tasty stop when the hunger pangs strike. My go-to is The Wreck -- loaded up and, of course, with extra hot peppers. It's not just a sandwich; it's a life experience. Every bite feels like it's giving my taste buds a standing ovation... and my sinuses a pep talk. I also love their chili -- hearty, comforting, and exactly what you want on a chilly day (pun absolutely intended). One of my favorite things is the mix-and-match approach here. Half a sandwich, half a salad, whatever combination makes your stomach sing -- they make it happen. I'm partial to a sandwich-and-soup or sandwich-and-chili combo, but honestly, they could hand me a sandwich and a pickle and I'd still be grinning. The Pick-Your-Pair deal is my secret weapon for avoiding food FOMO. I get a little bit of everything without having to choose -- because why should lunch be a time for difficult decisions? I will say, I do miss the days when the rewards program felt, well, more rewarding. You know, something that made loyal customers feel like VIPs instead of "Very Intermittently Pleased." But that's a small gripe compared to all the deliciousness they serve up. A few Potbelly-themed jokes for flavor: Why did The Wreck go to therapy? It had too many layers of emotion. What's Potbelly's favorite band? Bread Zeppelin. My doctor told me to eat more greens... so now I get extra lettuce on my Wreck. Problem solved. Whether I'm craving a sandwich that could make a grown man weep, a bowl of chili that hugs your soul, or a meal combo that lets me have my lunch and eat it too -- this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

She's funny, attentive, and gives honest food recommendations if you're undecided on the menu. She's also incredibly talented -- we watched her balance six cups of coffee to another table without using a tray! On our first visit, a Saturday morning, we ordered the blueberry pancakes (I love when the blueberries are cooked into the pancakes instead of just sprinkled on top), scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, potatoes with onions, and coffee. Everything was affordable and delicious, so much so that we came back two days later. On our second visit, a Monday, we asked to be seated in April's section! She actually remembered us because we shared the potatoes the first time and she even asked if we wanted to share them again (yes, please... and she brought two small plates!). This time we had scrambled eggs, potatoes with onions, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, toast, and a biscuit. We even dropped some quarters into the tabletop jukebox for the full diner experience. I'd definitely visit again and have already recommended it to relatives who live in the area!

Diner atmosphere is appropriate for a throw back diner probably because it needs a renovation. Overall an ok place to grab basic food for reasonable price with good service.
