4oz. Alaskan King Salmon cooked to perfection

So the family wanted to try something new this weekend, and we stumbled upon this place. The views are spectacular, and the food amazing. Ambiance complements the view and the vibe. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner.

Very classy place with gorgeous views of the ocean. Perfect for a birthday dinner or date night. I love how the entrees come with a palette cleanser and cheese soufflé. The waiter was really attentive and took great care of us. Oysters- 5/5, comes with a really good icey mignonette sauce Roasted Pheasant- 5/5, loved the taste of the meat and the sauce complemented it perfectly. Seafood stew- 5/5, lots of seafood variety Seafood salad- 3/5, is VERY huge and has lots of toppings, didn't have much seafood in it Spinach gnocchi- 4.5/5, the sauce is super flavorful, and the mushroom in it was an interesting touch

Had an amazing dining experience here. Our waitress was accomodating and attentive to our needs. She was knowledgeable about the origins of the seafood in the area and had an excellent recommendation for a wine pairing for our oysters. Attention to detail was impeccable, even with the appropriate cutlery placement. Our food came out quickly and it deserves the highest praise, the pastry on the tart was perfect and our food was well balanced. This place is an absolute gem with an amazing view. Thank you so much!

Beautiful view of the water through the large windows and beautiful dining room! No wait on a Sunday a little after noon. Got some raw oysters that were served with hard cider mignonette that paired very well. The fried oysters were delicious but their sweet potato fries were the best part of the dish!! A must try side. Parking is limited in the front of the store and you may need to park on the narrow side of the road nearby. The service was very friendly and attentive as well!

Amazing views of Samish Bay. Fresh oysters right along Chuckanut Drive. For oysters, we had the Totten Inlet & the Royal Miyagi. We also had the Gnocchi and the Halibut Chowder Soup. To compliment my raw oysters, I had a Pale Ale IPA. Unfortunately, our table was super wobbly. The staff is friendly and our server Leah was super nice. FYI, children below 9 years old are not allowed in the restaurant. They also want you to refrain from using your cell phone, but I took pics because I'm a hardcore Yelper amd want to share my experience!

This was definitely one of my top food experiences ever. The restaurant's a bit fancy, but the patrons aren't- aka, you don't need to dress up, but there's a ton of silverware. We went on vacation on a Tuesday, so it wasn't very busy. It's also not noisy, it's a nice quiet space to have lunch. The server was also quite nice. The booths are very comfortable. I got the king salmon, which was delicious. A very light taste of balsamic vinegar, and all the flavours combined perfectly. Mushrooms, cedar, and raspberries- I'd have never thought of that! Anyone who wants to avoid "fishy" fish- this is for you. I had it with sweet potato fries, which I always like, and those came with a very nice homemade garlic aioli sauce. Very smooth and not a super strong garlicky taste. My tablemates' food: one had the bouillabaise, and said it was excellent, with a very light broth, and tons of nice seafood. The other had the fried oysters, and thought they were very well prepared. We finished off the afternoon with desserts; my tablemates got dessert wines and we got a slice of cheesecake to share. It was fantastic, as all cheesecake is; this one had a light nutty taste that wasn't overwhelming. This restaurant really made me appreciate fancy restaurants and just how nicely tastes can pair that wouldn't normally be paired in daily foods.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Had lunch on Christmas Eve on our way to Bellingham. Everything from the white tablecloth ambience and stunning views to attentive service and outstanding food, there is nothing lacking here! We had a nice two-top by the window and started with a dozen oysters - two each of what they had available. The mignonette was like an apple cider sorbet. Sounds weird but it was the perfect way to highlight the different flavors of the oysters, all of which paired nicely with both the Albarino and Muscadet. We moved onto the beet salad next, which was chock full of delicious roasted beets and fresh spinach. Afterwards, we were then brought an intermezzo of quince sorbet in Cava. Wow, even that was a winner! For the main course we had the Black cod special with chanterelles and a tomato Chardonnay sauce. The fish was super fresh and flaky, and the presentation was gorgeous. It came with a decadent side of goat cheese soufflé. Our server, Leah, was very friendly and provided superb service. We definitely recommend this for a nice occasion meal. It is a small restaurant so make reservations ahead of time.

Breathtaking vistas, mouthwatering cuisine, and exceptional service! I particularly loved the selection of oysters.

Service was amazing. Food was top notch. We loved everything but our top dishes were the mushroom tartlet and gnocchi. The gnocchi is top notch and a must try. Will definitely be back again.

The outside of this restaurant is deceiving. I would have never guessed the inside and the quality of food based on the outside look. Instead of "never judge a book by it's cover", it is "never judge a restaurant by the outside". I would consider this spot "fine" dinning based on the quality of food, service, table setting, and the views outside the windows! I do not eat anything from the water. However, I was impressed by the oysters served to my partner. I had the best ravioli dish ever. I was very happy especially eating lunch here after a hike. There are limited restaurants in this area. I recommend this place! Lunch after a hike!

Great view

The food here is always good & the view even better even on a cloudy day. They only serve wine & beer. The menu is small & doesn't change very often. We ways enjoy our time here but it is Very pricey.

The menu is much the same, and executed flawlessly. We had the Pepperoni & peppers pizza, with pepperoni that cups perfectly and just the right amount of Mama Lil's to make it interesting but not too spicy. The potato leek pizza was delectable, and the Blotto burnt potatoes with Labneh and chili-vin has my mouth watering just writing about it. Paired with an exceptionally funky Orange wine, this will be my go-to whenever I'm in Bellingham. Be mindful the place gets busy! Staff is kind and efficient. You'll love this place!

Being treated to Chuckanut Manor is starting to be a tradition for me. This is my second time to…read morethis wonderful place. The first was my birthday last year, chosen by a friend (I'd never heard of it). This year I was asked where I wanted to go. I did not hesitate to say here! I couldn't be anything other than delighted in my decision--from the pleasantness inside, the wonderful view from our window, the delightful staff and the incredible food and drinks, this place is wonderful. Lucky me that my birthday was on a Wednesday so I could be totally influenced to have oysters-on-the-half shell due to a generous Wednesday night special. I do love raw oysters--and these were so tiny and briny and so incredibly good, I could have eaten five dozen! (I am kicking myself for not finding out what kind they were, but no matter. I would be happy with any they are serving here, I am sure.) I had already planned on having the Oysters Rockefeller (known here as Manor Rockefeller), and so, despite having just downed some oysters, I went ahead anyway and am glad I did! They were wonderful. And there was no real reason for me to pause for a moment in my decision, having already had oysters, because these were soooooo different. It was almost like eating a delicious oyster casserole in a shell. The Mediterranean Mussels were wonderful! (Notice, I was having a dinner of appetizers...) The broth they came in was beautiful (and drinkable, if one were so inclined). I loved the surprising tastiness of the Mama Lil's Peppers swimming around in it. At first I wondered if they would be too hot and compete with the flavor--overwhelming it--but no! Not at all. They were a perfect and flavorful touch. Absolutely wonderful. (And having said that, I know that "pepper heat" is an individual thing--I can tolerate a goodly amount, fyi--I just didn't taste these as hot at all.) Our server, Drew, was immensely helpful (and always charming!) He paired our food with a delicious wine. I guess we would assign my bowl of clam chowder to the dessert category--very thick and creamy--along with a lovely after-dinner cocktail, made by the wonderful and delightful bartender, Sherry. She made me a lovely mocktail to start--I asked Drew to have the bartender just make something up on a whim. It was pretty, colorful and delish with what in it, I have no idea. But, not only was it delectable, it was a vision! All festive and fuchsia, with a "bartender's cherry," and a hot pink umbrella. When I learned Sherry made it, I was so happy because I remembered her from last year--very skilled and very fun to chat with. A wonderful birthday--I highly recommend the Manor.

For the prices you would expect a 5 star cuisine. We've…read morebeen here for dinner several times and lunch a couple times. The dinner menu is far superior but still lacks options. No matter the time of day you come here I wouldn't expect very many meals to choose from but you should expect a substantial bill to follow it. Example, The fish and chips from the kids menu is exactly the same as the adult lunch menu. Kids, around $15 Adult, $35 3 fish sticks with probably 15 fries. Today's service was better than the other times we've come here. The building is pretty cool and the view is nice.
