I'm so glad we couldn't this place. We choose outdoor seating and there was no wait. Customer service was amazing. They were so attentive! Ordered: Breakfast Quesadilla (half order) Egg White Omelette w/hash browns and a pancake (not pictured) Two- kids chocolate chip pancake We need to address the size of these pancakes! They are so big!!! Normally I would have ordered one pancake for both kids but I knew they were hungry and they finished them. I snuck a bite and they are so soft and fluffy! They also brought out WARM maple syrup which is the just what these pancakes need. The quesadilla was so crispy on the outside. I still couldn't believe this portion was half an order! I would order this again. The eggs were fluffy and enjoyed the peppers, onions and sausage. The omelette was a great combination of veggies, cheese and eggs. I didn't try it but my husband really enjoyed it. He didn't leave any behind. I have to have a separate shout out for the hash browns! They are so crispy on the outside but still parts are soft. I also have to mention that we stayed at a nearby resort and this food was way better than we had at the resort. We also paid less for better food and bigger portion. read more

Once you have had their corn beef hash, you will realize you never knew what SOS was really supposed to be. Made from brisket, my guess, not diced pieces of meat out of a can. After hearing good things I wanted to try it for myself. When we walked in there were several groups waiting for a table. The hostess quoted us 20 minutes for a table. It ended up being 45 minutes before we were seated. It seemed like the lady was just making up numbers as she went. Many people left after the time she gave them was doubled without saying anything or apologized. While you wait you'll have time to read the "house rules" sign summed up pretty much says eat your food and get out, if you don't like the rules "by your own restaurant". So that's how the experience started, luckily it completely changed once we were seated. The server was extremely nice, food was great and the portions sizes were HUGE so, make sure you bring your appetite. This would have been a five star experience if ie wasn't for the long wait time that was improperly quoted and the the coffee was a bit watery. read more

I had the corn beef hash plate and when I tell you "Awesome", it is a fact. Made 100% from Scratch, you will not be disappointed. I can't believe I've never posted a review for the Pancake House. We've been here 20+ time over the years and the food is consistently excellent. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The place definitely needs to be bigger. You really need to get here before 9 to avoid a wait, even in the off-season. Pretty much everything is really good. Great service! We love PC but usually get it to go because it's always so busy. We decided to eat in today and had a very long wait which we expected. Our server was Nichole F and she did a great job. She was serving us (a six top) and another six top simultaneously and for all of our food and drinks out quickly. The Pancake House is a great local breakfast diner at the Lake. This place has a following so be prepared to wait for a table. The staff does an amazing job of keeping a flow going, and turning over tables. Weather permitting there is also patio seating. Everyone at The Pancake House seems happy to be there. It is a friendly, family run establishment. I would highly recommend the Quiche and Cheesy Hash Browns. Enough to share or take some home. Leftovers are even good! This was my first experience at the pancake house. I ordered The Number 2. The food was too good! I finished it before I could get a picture. The atmosphere is everything you would expect from the lake. I particularly enjoyed the since of humor displayed in the hot cakes logo. It's very fitting for the area. I would give it 2 1/2 if I could. There was nothing special about my breakfast, and didn't bother to finish anything on my plate. The pancake was okay, not great, and I certainly have had better. I am deeply impressed with this restaurant. At first I was a little apprehensive about eating here but much to my surprise, it was EXCELLENT!!!! Did you know you can order your food on the phone then drive to the window and pick up??? You can stay in your pj's and they give you everything you need to have a good meal.
