Was intimidated to walk into what looks like a princess castle that we just enjoyed the view from outside but brought up the courage to walk in and we were in owe with the buildings beauty and it's antiques. We stopped by this cute little cafe for breakfast one morning. It's located in the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort. They have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, desserts, soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch. I ordered the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a croissant. It was easily the best breakfast I had during my entire stay. There is a small area to eat inside but there is also a huge patio in the courtyard with several tables for outdoor eating. read more

I bought cracker jacks in a box they were soggy and stale. I pointed that out to the helpers and the next morning the boxes were still being served. The breakfast was a microwave preformed egg, crispy but tasteless bacon and OK cinnamon roll.They served me a three dollar cuppa coffee that was the exact same as the free coffee that was 10 feet away . Gail got grumpy with me getting my money back even though she hadn't given me the coffee or poured it yet. Only go if it's the only thing open. read more

Very cute place with some interesting food products, gifts, bakery goods, sandwiches and specialty coffee drinks. We opted for an everything bagel, with egg, cheese and ham and a cappuccino. The coffee was excellent, the sandwich just ok. Nothing special. It's tough to find really good authentic bagels in the South and this was no different. If the "everything" on the bagel delivered the promised flavor punch, we would have enjoyed the sandwich so much more. We had just got in and everyone was a bit tired from the ride. Nobody had the desire to sit-down somewhere. My wife went to grab sandwiches and snacks for us, to which we all really enjoyed. I had the smoked salmon BLT, my wife a pimento BLT and my son a turkey croissant. The BLTs were very good, and no complaints from my son. A hit for something quick. read more

The reviews are correct, great place for breakfast sandwiches and fresh pastries. The sausage egg and cheese was excellent and so was the cinnamon roll. After breakfast, stroll the grounds of the Club and marvel at the architecture and the many "cottages" and other buildings that were built in the 1800s. A great way to spend a morning with good food, a quiet location with plenty to see and do. The lunch menu looks inviting so will have to try it on the next trip. Bike friendly area so easy to get to no matter where you are staying on Jekyll. read more

I believe this is now called the Jekyll Island Club Cafe. We ate here just about every day during our stay at The Westin last week. We were here so often, by day 2, the employees knew us and we knew them! Because the food over at The Westin isn't so great, the Club Cafe is a fantastic breakast/lunch option! They brew Starbucks coffee and lattes, serve fresh pastries and muffins, and have delicious, fresh salads and sandwiches. The shrimp salad croissant and the cuban sandwich were my personal favourites. They're open later than the Jekyll Market (which sometimes closes before the posted hours) so oftentimes we'd wander over after dinner to grab some yummy ice cream cones. Stop by this lovely outpost of the famed Jekyll Island Club and spend some time with the wonderful staff, you won't be disappointed! read more

This is hands down best place for breakfast on Jekyll island. No it doesn't have a large menu but everything from breakfast to lunch is done well. The market's croissant doesn't even compare and the eggs are made fresh which is also something the markets didn't seem to be. So if you want easy and relatively cheap breakfast or a simple mid priced lunch this is the place to go on Jekyll. read more

Definitely try the turkey sandwich. One of the best I have ever had. And delicious cookies which I got for 50% off because it was after 4. It is a small take out or eat in place in the Jekyll Island club. Excellent latte in the morning. I wish I could have tried all the pastries. The staff is warm and incredibly helpful. read more

This is now called the Club Cafe. It had some of the most amazing cheese grits the best that I have had since I moved to Georgia. It's a little more expensive but it is quality food and there's a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely go back. read more
