A must try because it is so so good. We got the good Italian boy and good Italian girl and they were big, flavorful, and worth every penny . Amazing Italian sandwiches.

The Pass 207 St Phillip St The pass is not your average neighborhood sandwich shop. This place is rolling out fresh ingredients and I'm here to tell you it's LEGIT! I got the "Such a Nice Italian Boy" The burrata on a sandwich is pure genius. Every bite is a glimpse of Chef Anthony Marini's fine dining roots. I can't wait to try more. Also the @drinkfizza Blood Orange kombucha was amazing. Great vibe inside. Highly Recommend you stop in for a to go sandwich or enjoy the comfortable sitting area.

The best sandwiches of my life. I wish I could try them all!! The roast beef on the bear was so tender and flavorful. I will be dreaming of this place

This sandwich was so delicious, I can't wait to visit again. I will be thinking about it until I can have another.

Yes, We Finally Watched "The Bear"

Where to start for this small but intimate Italian sandwich shop in downtown Charleston. You walk in and suddenly feel at home, like you've been there too many times to count but you won't stop coming back. You're handed a menu to look at as if deciding which sandwich to conquer is a quick decision. As a first time guest, but long time lurker on their Instagram feed, I asked the recommendation on which two sandwiches to get from the lady at the register. She steered me in the right direction as the Yes, We Finally Watched "The Bear" was an incredible sandwich. Lightly toasted but perfectly crunchy sesame seed roll in a way that isn't going to cut your mouth when you eat it. Crunching into your first bite, you'll notice the roast beef, and house roasted balsamic onions almost spilling out of the sandwich. As with most and sandwich, the fresh mozzarella is the perfect addition to an already flavorful sandwich. Also included is the house-made pepper shooter aioli, and EVOO. We opted for takeout but ended up sitting in the small dining room area as we scoured the walls looking at all of the art, local signage and other aesthetically pleasing wall art. As we were enjoying our meal, the owner/head chef came over himself and checked in to see how we were doing. I understand the price might deter some customers (~$17 for a sandwich) but the sandwiches are pretty huge, the ingredients are fresh and the flavor is immaculate. Already planning on coming back & one of the best sandwiches in the area hands down. Photos below don't do it justice as I barely got these two before digging in.

The Pass located on Phillips St in Charleston SC is a cute take out restaurant.Their Turkey sandwich was delicious and has a very generous of meat. served on a Ciabatta bread. The sandwich along will leave you full and Satisfied. They do offer delivery service . They offer everything from sandwich to Cheese, wine and Charcuterie Boards. Quaint place to have a glass of wine and meet up with some friends.

I arrived at the Pass a little after 2 pm on a Friday and they were sold out of all greens so no salad or greens on the sandwich so I ordered the The Panino di Basilico. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful and I see why they are busy. By the time I arrived the place was pretty empty and they closed shortly after due to selling out of items. So I definitely recommend this place for the fresh and tasty sandwich and recommend going earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.

Finally made it here after strolling to downtown farmer's market. We snagged a spot on the street nearby - no dedicated parking lot but street parking is usually easy in the area. The inside space is very tasteful and gives Italian vibes. It's an order at the counter spot with fairly limited seating but seemed like folks moved through fairly quickly. They do have one big community table and some bar seats. We snagged the Focaccia del capo sandwich and the Everyday BS. The focaccia was the best of the two. The everyday was solid but slightly eggy for our lunch (would get it for breakfast for sure). They have a small collection of canned and bottled soda/kombucha as well as alcoholic choices. The Carolina kettle chips are some of our favorite and we always love to see a shop that has them. The staff were friendly and helpful answering questions. We'll be back!

You get a new glass with each new pour. You choose which wine you'd like & how much you'd like. I appreciated that I could do tastings of various wines. The QR code gave tasting notes, so I could choose what I might want from there. The food was also delicious. The meatball had a cinnamon after taste which was interesting. The crostinis were super tasty with the goat cheese, balsamic reduction, and strawberries.

The wait staff was not very welcoming, which definitely impacted the overall experience. When visiting a restaurant, especially one with such a great reputation, I expect to feel welcomed and valued as a guest. I was also disappointed by the inconsistency in the posted hours. The hours listed on the restaurant's website differed from the hours shown on Google, which can be very confusing when you're trying to plan your visit. Another concern was the payment experience. The restaurant placed two separate holds on my account--one for $1 and another for over $100. I understand that temporary authorization holds can sometimes occur, but having two separate holds was unexpected and added to an already disappointing experience. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but based on my visit, I would hesitate to return.

They have a full bar if you'd like a standard cocktail or any other creation I'm sure they could make it. Our server was great and very attentive. The kitchen stopped serving food at 10pm which I wish we had been told when we came in because I tried to order fries at 10:04 and was told I couldn't. Which I understand I just wish I had known. They offer an impressive selection of wines both by the glass and by the bottle, making it easy to find something you'll love. While the food menu is small, every item feels thoughtfully curated. The black olives were the perfect snack pairing, and the peaches were absolutely incredible. We loved learning that the peaches are sourced locally and that the mint is grown fresh right behind the restaurant. It was quaint but very inviting. I'm so sorry if I got your name wrong but I think it was Nicole? She was very friendly and told us about their specials and I love that they print a new menu daily as they rotate a lot of their wines. There was an option to do a "half bottle" which gets you just a touch more than a glass so we thought that was perfect for the two of us for just under $40. We got a nice and chilled Gamay and enjoyed our conversations with her. It's a nice place for a date, girls night or even if you want to sit alone at the bar. The team there makes you feel at home!
