Horrible experience! Called in early Monday morning and spent 30 minutes with lady on flower arrangement for Mother's Day. Florist said the specific flower I requested should be in later in the day or tomorrow. She also advised that she would call or email me to let me know eh. It's ready for pickup..... Well, it's Friday and I'm thinking she'll call today or tomorrow so my sister could pick up and deliver to my mom for Mom's Day since I live out of state. Nope!!! Helena was very nice And had a lot if ideas for me however when I need to just buy baby's breath Which is just a fiiller plant she wanted to charge me $96.00 for fillers flowers! I was a little taken back considering the florest down the street is charging me less for filler plants. I had to give her 1 star for just her suggestion of picking my own flowers in my backyard. I found this place on Yelp while looking for a flower shop near my daughters home. Helena is now my florist for life! She personally delivered gorgeous fresh flowers, gift wrapped my present and even made me a custom card. This Helena lady is a nut!! I placed an order on August 17, 2013 for my mom's bday, mom wasn't home to receive flowers, Helena took flowers back to her shop. I called her to apologized and to let her know that my mom will be home on 19, all day, so she agreed to deliver the flowers that day, and she did. Helena delivered the exact same bouquet she had originally made 2 days prior!! The flowers were dead, the roses with no petals, it looked like a joke, even my mom asked if that was what I ordered for her, so smart ass Helena, said it was the same bouquet that she had placed it in the fridge to keep it fresh, (obviosly didn't work!) and was still charged $80 dollars + delivery fee for an old, saggy and smelly flower arragement! I called her for an explanation, and she said that she had ran out of flowers and didn't have any choice, and on top of that, she assured me the flowers were fresh and pretty. I got to my mom's house to find the ugliest, old muggy arregement ever! Helena is very unprofessional, and I honestly think she doesn't have a shop, but rather works from her car!! Being that far from all of my friends and family is hatd enough but when a good friend suffered to devastating loss of her father Helena and passionate florist really stepped up for me!! I will be forever grateful to her! She was able to bring a smile to a family who was in so much pain. The time and attention to detail was just stellar!!! I found this florist thru Yelp. I have tried other florist in the area and haven't been happy with their arrangements. The minute the phone was answered I knew I had found the right place. You can't fake caring to make someone happy. It was my Mother's 80's birthday so I wanted it to be special. My Mom called and said how beautiful the flowers where and she love how fragrant they were. WOW! we went all over to try and find the perfect bouquet for a special occasion. We stumbled upon this place due to yelp reviews being so high (and the shop being so close to our house) that we decided to go in. Helena worked tirelessly for OVER AN HOUR fixing every single detail of our flower arrangement. It is absolutely gorgeous to look at. I have never seen flowers this nice in my entire life. Even better, her price was lower than the other florists we had checked out for a bigger and nicer arrangement. If she would have charged me double for the work she did, I would not have argued. We went to her store for wedding event but unfortunately, we need to go with a bigger scale florist due to our variable needs for the flowers. Even though Helena knew we were not going to go with her, she still patiently took down my email address and promised to send me information on the arch we were looking to rent.
