My husband had an amazing stay at the White Doe Inn celebrating our first wedding anniversary. From 4-5pm they had happy hour with complementary wine and appetizers. The Inn owners were so nice and offered great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. We took their suggestion to have dinner at Salt and Cyprus with waterfront views and great cocktails. In the morning, the inn's breakfast was perfect. Fresh fruit, homemade muffin, coffee, juice, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs. With our short stay, we ran out of time to try out their fire pits and take a bike ride through town. Next time we'll have to stay at least two nights!

WOW!!!!!!! We went to Manteo (Roanoke Island) and booked here last minute and are so glad we did…read more This is a 150yr old house and the new owners are absolutely amazing. There spare no expense to make the guests feel like royalty. First of all, high end coffee machine, fresh made cookies every day, ice cream sandwiches in the freezer... Then, the breakfasts are like dining in a Michelin star restaurant. Easily would be $25-30 in a restaurant. They have a happy hour(s) each night from 4 to 6 and serve 3-4 high quality wines and an assortment of local and regional beers. David and Tania are amazing hosts and we will definitely be back. There is lost to do and see in this area and the White Doe is a perfect hub for all things north OBX.

The staff in the office once you arrive are so patient and welcoming, so checking in was so easy !!! If you have any issues in your suite or questions about locks, they will gladly come over and assist you. The excellent cleanliness of all the suite and the attention to detail to making your stay comfortable is outstanding !!! The rooms are spacious, very clean, full kitchen, large bathroom, very very comfortable bed, living room, dinning room, a nice balcony and chairs for you to enjoy view of the water, sunset and sunrise, easy access to boardwalk and gazebo on small pier. Also with access to a large swimming pool and hot tub for relaxation... Another plus is it's located between Manteo and Kitty Hawk, so you have plenty of options of places to go for drinks, a good meal, sight seeing, or for a good time in the water. If you are planning to come out here do keep them in mind for a great and comforting stay. Do inquire about specials for special events and specials rooms. Enjoy that personal touch at The Oasis Suites Hotel !!!

We stayed in one of the suites with a separate bedroom, which worked out great. There was a lot of space to spread out. Something minor to some but I loved being able to self-park close to the room. I'd definitely come back.

Room was clean and beds are comfortable. They allowed us to bring our 3rd dog and charged the $50…read moreper dog per stay, which was fair. They placed us in the back building facing a courtyard on the 1st floor which made taking our dogs out convenient. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The main building looked really nicely renovated while the other buildings looked like they still needed to be renovated on the outside. Landscaping seemed to need some updating and the pool was covered for the season but the top had a build up of standing water and dry leaves. Location was central to everything we needed. We love this area but would love to stay somewhere nicer next time.

Worst in 20 years! Unfriendly front desk, hard to locate the…read moreroom "all the way in the back and did not say it was 2nd floor". Parking area of cracked concrete and grass patches. Dirty stairs and "back stairs" were peeling paint and rotting. Room was "shoddy" at best, cave like with only a small dormer window that was so dirty it was disgusting. Room had a strong "chemical smell" and was "decorated in early yard sale/thrift store" furniture. Coffee maker (1 leg broken off) still had previous occupant's coffee filter and grounds and there was no fresh coffee packs in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable that we did not get much sleep and the sheets were so thin you could read a book through them. We could not stand to spend another night so checked out early. One of the most disgusting hotel experiences in my 40 years of travel. This place is a disgrace to the Wyndham franchise which is why it was selected in the first place. Wyndham is on my NO STAY list for ever after this experience.
