I have tried so many different workouts throughout the years -- home videos, classes, trainers at the gym -- and this by far is the BEST!! Because of the individual attention that you receive, you are always challenged, whether you increase your weights or have to decrease after an illness or an extended absence. They push you to do your best on each piece of equipment every time you go. The trainers are all very encouraging and positive and most importantly, knowledgeable. They can tell you whether or not your body position/posture is correct, when you are tensing other muscles instead of concentrating on the group that you are currently working on, that you are doing a great job keeping your shoulders down, to hang in there and give it your best because you are almost done, etc. I want to get stronger and to avoid osteoporosis or a broken hip or anything else as I get older so I love that!! It can be so tough to keep track of all that you need to do to perform an exercise correctly and I really need that input! Oh, and I'm top of all of that, they keep track of timing you so all you have to do is try your best! One of the best things about it is that it is so fast! Be prepared to go in and work super hard, but it only lasts about 20 minutes, twice per week. Scheduling or rescheduling is easy. I have seen far better results from this workout in much less time than the old gym routines I used to do. This workout helped me lose over 40 lbs. and become much, much stronger! The first thing I have to say about the Perfect Workout is, of course, that Thomas (my trainer) is awesome. I come in to work out in all kinds of various moods, with all kinds of questionable language, with pictures of all my foster animals, refusing to leave the bun off my burgers... and he takes it all in stride. He's flexible when my schedule gets ridiculous, has a good sense of humor, and takes care of me during my workout ensuring that I am using the right technique on each machine. I have never had a personal trainer before joining the Perfect Workout and had always gone to various classes at gyms (Pilates, Yoga etc.). When I moved to Houston a few years ago I couldn't find a gym that offered the fitness and strength classes I wanted, when I wanted to attend. So, when I saw the advertisement for the Perfect Workout and that I could book my first session online right away and train on my schedule I decided it might just be what I was looking for. The fact that I am super lazy and the sessions are only 20 minutes had nothing to do with it :-) I have been coming to the Perfect Workout for about 3 years and just renewed for my 4th year. It's 20 minutes 2 times a week, and I can't imagine bothering with a crowded gym class ever again. I have always exercised...running, aerobics, elliptical machine, swimming, etc. but never really stuck to a good weight lifting routine. This 20 minute two times per week routine (called "The Perfect Workout") has provided more results than any other exercise I have ever done. It has given me more strength, stamina, muscle tone, and actually changed my body composition. The great thing about it is that it is only 20 minutes of intense physical concentration/work and then you are done. This is something I can do for the rest of my life. The trainers are very knowledgeable and push you to do your best. They are very upbeat and positive. Because they walk you through each machine...setting the proper weight, checking your posture on the machine, timing each machine on the way up and the way down...all you have to do is listen to them and give it your best. They will determine when you are ready to move on to the next weight level. This is a one-on-one session with no one else in the room to distract you. You can go in and out literally within 20 minutes and have the best possible workout. I am hooked on it (obsessed really) and I know if you give it a try you will be too! read more

I have been doing this for the last six months or so and am delighted with the increase in stamina, strength and toning that I am seeing. It took about three months before I began to see a change, but now, I'm hooked. I feel better than I have since I was a young woman. The first time I was really aware of it was in handling luggage at the airport. No longer the hassle it always has been. I am 72 years old and a while back spent the day with two grandsons, ages 9 and 11, at Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We closed the place down, and while I was tired, I still had energy left. My grandsons told my I am the grandma that is "fun to play with." It doesn't get any better than that! Being a bit competitive by nature, the encouragement my trainer gives me keeps pushing me to do my best. This is great for both my health and my self-esteem. The Perfect Workout is the BEST workout you will ever encounter! Just try it! The workout is designed to give you the maximum results you can achieve in just 20 minutes a session! A trainer encourages, motivates, and challenges you throughout your session. I have worked with all of the trainers in the Memorial office and they are all great. Keisy challenges me to workout in proper form and to keep the proper pace. I appreciate her attention to form and to speed! I work out two times a week. I definitely can tell that my core is much stronger and that I have gained muscle strength! I also have more energy to care for my toddler granddaughter. I can lift her, her car seat, stroller etc., much more easily with the strength that I have gained, and I have energy throughout the day! I highly recommend this workout! read more

I have been going to TPW since May. I have worked out with three different trainers and they are all great! I like the fact that someone is waiting for me and goes through the process with me, one-on-one. That keeps me accountable. They are there to remind me to breathe, keep my shoulders down, and go slow. They count for me which really helps me to take it slow. This routine fits my busy schedule and I can even go at lunch if I need to. I found out about TPW in a magazine. I took a picture of the advertisement because it seemed too good to be true. One day I called and set up my initial visit and now I'm hooked. It truly is a 20 minute workout and I am seeing benefits more and more. They truly care and want me to succeed. read more

I was not one for exercise or a gym rat. I kept seeing the flyer at work and started to read it and thought this could be something I could do. I am so glad I went in for the first session and then signed up for a year. Marci is the best trainer with the individual attention and acknowledging me when I reach all my small goals. I feel better, have more energy, and am more flexible and have gone down a size in pants and two sizes on the top. Woo Hoo!!!! Well, you know how friends are....Monkey see Monkey do. You think "Maybe the perfect workout will be perfect for me too." AND IT IS !!!! Sandy C told me all about it and gave me a free workout certificate and that was that. I am only 2 months in but I can really feel the difference in my muscle tone. I don't groan anymore when I get out of bed!!! 20 minutes twice a week--that's it. Thomas is also my trainer and I swear sometimes I think he's trying to kill me, but then I complete the rep and show him how it's done. I can't believe I am going to say this--I enjoy working out. I've signed on to the best workout program possible. My trainer Tony is knowledgeable, patient, and manages to get the best results every time. Coming in with arthritis and bad knees I wasn't sure how this would go. But the exercises require muscle development, so I'm never afraid of a joint issue.
