No complaints. They did great work. I had a Pep Boys oil change coupon so I took my car in today to get that and the inspection done. Took lots of trips so my cars brakes and tie rods quality didn't pass this year. Not islands imports fault, I'm sure they were passing last year. Big quote from Pep Boys. I called Island Imports to ask about their hourly rate since Pep Boys was rather high. Pep boys stated they would allow me to bring in parts to put in, so I was just shopping for an hourly rate and seeing where I could find ways to save. When I told whoever answered the phone at Island Imports this, they started screaming at me that they were not a reputable business and shops aren't allowed to do that. I didn't know that, but I am just trying to figure it all out. I interrupted her in the middle of what she was saying to state that pep boys told me differently, but that I was simply just trying to understand their hourly rates. The conversation devolved from there, I was near tears trying to get words out, and she was still telling me how rude I am for interrupting and implying her shop would ever put on parts I brought in myself. I was just trying to ask what their rate was to understand general costs. It was the most uncomfortable conversation I have ever had with a business and it ended her eventually explaining rates are dependent on a number of factors, and more or less stated that they didn't want my business and I should stay with Pep boys. I'm still gonna give them three stars because I know they're capable of good work, so I hope you guys have a really nice experience like the first time I went.

I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!

I usually go somewhere else, but wanted something walking distance and easy to pick my car up since I had a busy week ahead. Getting my tire plugged and patched was so easy and way more affordable than I expected. I paid under $40 for the repair and was thrilled. The gentleman who helped me check out was really kind and answered all my questions about the tire too. I highly recommend coming here to fix a flat tire.

Luckily, my evening went more smoothly thanks to Dennis' Towing. My car broke down a the highway ramp near Staples Mill and I called at least 7 different towing companies in the area with no tow truck availability. When I called, I was told that there would be a truck available in approximately 45 minutes, and that they would call me back then. I was contact by Keith who was very professional and respectful. He called me to tell me when he was on the way, that he had a (more urgent) call from the police to respond to an accident and he let me know that it would be a little while longer before he could tow my car. No worries, I really appreciated that I was kept in the loop. Eventually, that evening, he towed my car to the mechanic and dropped the key off in their drop box. I've never used a towing service before, but Keith was very communicative which is important for times like these. Their prices were very fair - $65 base fee with an additional $4 per mile towed. The job got done and I'm satisfied with my experience; I'll be contacting them if I ever need towing again.
