On a food truck adventure, a found Galleria Food truck park off of Richmond. 1st let me just say I have never had or even thought of having a salmon cheesesteak, but baby....when I say this sucker was good it was good!!!! The salmon was well seasoned and moist. I chose to add provolone cheese and lettuce and tomato. The 6in was a nice size with all the salmon that was in the sandwich I think I would have did well off with a 4in. But hey had some for the next day. The bread wasn't too soggy with all I had on it, I was still able to pick it up and eat it. They also have different types of egg rolls beef, chicken and salmon to order. Fries were also available to order on the side. The service was great it was made to go order. There was also different flavors of lemonade, I got the watermelon and raspberry, the flavor was good but I didn't really taste the watermelon, the raspberry one you actually tasted raspberries. Obsessed with their salmon eggrolls & kiwi lemonade. Their wait times are ridiculous & the staff can be rude. I've had experiences where I've waited over 30 minutes for my egg rolls. When I first started coming here the staff was friendly & the service was quick. Now it feels like it may be under different management just based on the staff alone. It was late and I wanted something to eat that wasn't going to be given to me through a drive-thru. After searching around I decided to try The Philly Grill which was stationed at the Food Truck Park in the galleria area. I didn't really interact with the staff. I looked at the menu, realized I needed to scan the QR code on the side of the truck to order, and waited until my food was ready. I would recommend ordering ahead of time to avoid the wait time. Parking can be hard to find in that area and there's a slight sewage smell so you'll want to get in and out. I ordered the 8 inch beef cheesesteak which I thought came with waffle fries but it's just the sandwich. Luckily for me, the 8 inch was more than enough. I only ate half. It was super cheesy and the bread was soft. I did wish there was a bit more flavor and I'd probably order light mayo next time but overall I thought it was a good bite. I'd definitely return on days I want a Philly but don't feel like cooking it myself. Having some hot sauce and banana peppers would really make this solid. read more

Listen, my fiancée and I come here every now and then, and yeah the food and service are great. But the atmosphere? Absolutely terrible. How do you allow people to stand right in front of your truck, rolling up and smoking weed like it's nothing? Right in customers faces? That's completely unacceptable. A bunch of young mfs (#YNS) were posted up in front of me and my lady, smoking nonstop while I was just trying to pick up an order I had already paid for. I said "excuse me" so I could get my food they ignored me. I said it again, louder, and then they want to turn around and look at me like I'm the problem? Like they're ready to start something? That's ridiculous. And where were you? Why is nobody stepping in to handle that? You're running a business, not a hangout spot for people to smoke and block paying customers. Have some control over what's happening right in front of your own establishment. On top of that, my food and the bag smelled like weed. That's disgusting. I was ready to come back and demand a fresh order, that's how bad it was. The only reason I didn't is because my fiancée convinced me to leave before things escalated. You seriously need to put a policy in place if someone is smoking right in front of your truck, tell them to put it out or don't serve them. It's that simple. Because right now, you're ruining the experience for customers who actually respect your business once again RESPECT!!!! and Honestly, I'm already at the point where I don't even want to come back. I am not lying, this place changed my life. Lol! It has been a long time since I was very impressed by a food truck, or really a restaurant at all for that matter. I will definitely be back to the Philly grill sooner than later. We tried one of each eggroll, they were all good but my favorite has to be the classic Philly and the buffalo chicken. I really wanted to love the salmon eggroll, but the salmon had a bit of a fishy aftertaste, which I didn't love. I would still order it again though. Also ordered six piece wings, half honey, jerk, half hot, lemon pepper. I really liked the flavor of the sauces and the wings were a good size. However, I like my wings really crispy, so next time I will definitely make that request. The fries were good and really fresh, and each of the dipping sauces we tried was also good. Make sure you order their lemonade, too, I got strawberry lemonade, and the 32 ounce, it lasted me throughout the whole day. Lol. The woman ordering was also very nice and helpful, I didn't feel like I was annoying or bothering her, which sometimes is the case with many food truck spots. If you're looking for a authentic cheesesteak you should come here ! The food was really good I would give it a solid 9 out of 10. They are really cheesy so if you're not a cheese lover maybe ask for light to medium cheese. Lemonade was bangin & you get a lot for what you pay ( I had already told a few sips)! I've been here 4 times in the past 2 weeks so now I'm ready to review. First and foremost the food is delicious I've had the salmon egg rolls and Philly. They are both good, but I would say the quality of the salmon is not constant on some days the salmon was thick pink and very pretty, and on others not so much. The salmon egg roll was really good as well and also in constant. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak and the Philly cheesecake egg rolls they were both amazing, no complaints I'm going to keep going back and hope it gets better because the food is amazing. read more

I visited this food truck while in the area getting food for my sister. I got the beef cheesesteak and the peach lemonade and let me just say that was probably one of the best meals I've gotten in the area. The Philly cheesesteak was well balanced with the cheese and meat and the peach lemonade was so good I almost turned around and got me another one. My only regret is not ordering more food. I come here every Thursday with my team, and each time, I force someone to try this spot bc it's soooooooo damn good. They have the best Philly cheesesteak in Houston for sure. The sandwich always comes out fresh and piping hot. They don't skimp on ingredients, it's not dry or bland - it's perfect! I'm craving one as I type this and I just had it last night the service is also phenomenal.
