My family and I finally gave in and decided to give this pho spot a chance and I'm so glad that we did! The aesthetics inside is my type of vibe. Waitresses are super nice, the booth is comfy and food is good. My son really enjoyed his kids meal plate with rice and grilled pork. He's very picky so for him to actually like foods at certain restaurants is a plus for me. The grilled pork had flavor although it looks skeptical but don't knock it until you try it. We ordered the pho #3 and it was savory and the portion was more than expected for a small. We also ordered egg rolls and I should have asked for the sweet fish sauce dip, but they serve it with the sweets chilly sauce which was still good. So this place is still fairly new. I had Bun BoHue and wife had a grilled pork vermicelli bowl , passion fruit tea and slushy. Well having had this soup at other places it was very bland. Soup base was very basic and lacked the flavor and depth we enjoy . Flavor of meats was washed out. Wife's pork noodle dish she said was ok . Tasted fine but not anything to be excited about. My wife had bun bo hue; I had vermicelli with pork. They were both very good. The bun bo hue was better than the same dish we had at a restaurant in Hue itself. The service was good. We were seated right away and our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. Each staff person we encountered was friendly, polite, and helpful. The decor was above-average, including nice scenes of Vietnam. However, the music is more appropriate for a night club rather than a classy restaurant. Many Vietnamese artists produce beautiful contemporary and traditional Vietnamese music that can better evoke a genuine Vietnamese experience. Place wasn't busy only 3 other tables with people.Came here with my kids and all the booths were dirty and also some tables . A lady sat us at a table . She wasn't really friendly we ordered. My daughter ordered a pork sandwich and I ordered a chicken sandwich, when they came out and gave me one of the sandwich's I asked him if this is the chicken one? He said I don't know which one is chicken. I checked the meats looked the same but when I took a bite in mine it was the pork one. The reason why I ordered chicken is because I don't like pork. This is like a chain with 3 other locations. We've tried the 2 in Modesto (1 in Stockton) and the phos we've had there are just ok. So we decided to try the one here, i thought the soup I had here was a little better (although my husband thought his was salty and super oily) then the other 2 locations we've tried. It is definitely a lot pricer here. It's nice how they offer wagyu pho as well as with the combination of both lobster/wagyu together at 85$. It took 10 mins to get seated in an empty restaurant and 30 extra minutes to be acknowledged by a server. I promise you, I was being as patient as possible, but everything was pretty awful. Drinks got there after the food, broth was not hot enough to cook my meat. The ambiance was bleak and off putting. We took our kids to Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend getaway. After hours playing and swimming, the kids was super hungry and they wanted to eat Pho. We were looking on Yelp for any Pho restaurant nearby. The restaurant is super close to GWL, it's only 7 or 8 mins away. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Our kids loved it. Highly recommend Pho Tai and Shaking Beef Rice Plate. I came here to say to eat in the morning, food took about 30 minutes to come out, I ordered 1 pho combo and a deep fried chicken rice plate. I also ordered a Thai tea, which was overly sweet and chunky.I notice that there was a hair in my food and asked the waiter for a new one and they apologized a brought me out one politely. I got my food after waiting for another hour for it to come out and taste like dog shit. This place sucks and Is way too overpriced. The combo appetizer is almost 20 dollars for only 2 egg rolls and 2 shrimp rolls. This place is a joke I asked for the owner and they said that there was no one not even a manager. The stoor is clean and that's about the only good thing. the people working there are definitely overworked. Normally when you go to a restaurant you see more than one server but here they have 1 to do almost everything which I think is crazy. On top of that the stoor was like 90 degrees in there.
