    Ahi tuna
    Les B.

I had been hearing about this place for a while so when it was across the street from a location that I was at I decided to try. I was expecting typical bar scene so there it was. I probably waited about 5 to 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me from the bar but once I did they were pretty attentive. I was thrilled to see ahi tuna as one of the options as a appetizer so I immediately chose that. It was okay but I don't feel like I got my fix with it. I then opted to get a burger and fries to take home. I got the one with egg on it and I was pretty disappointed to tell you the truth. I do like onion lettuce and tomato and this burger basically came with cheese and the egg. It was pretty plain. The fries were mediocre. Met a nice couple next to me and they were probably the highlight of the visit. They do have specials through out the week so thats nice. The couple said that they like the other locations better so maybe I'll give one of those a try.

Butts all over. Wonder if they smoke in the kitchen?
    Smythe R.

Wow! What an interesting menu!! Check it out online. I met with a few friends right as they opened and sat outside until someone started smoking in the side area. Fortunately we had already enjoyed our food and were just chatting and thinking about getting apps and more drinks, but that killed it for all of us. The inside is very dark and full of TVs (I mean, it IS a sports bar!), but the patio is lovely. Except for the smoking. When I walked back to my car, I noticed the bench by the back door where the staff take breaks, and it's piled high with cigarette butts in the ashtray, on the sidewalk, and even in the parking lot. Don't think I'll be back.

Needed a quick lunch stop after a visit to see the trolls in Dix Park and found The Pickled Onion to be the perfect place to get a tasty lunch. We both opted for shrimp options and the portions were very generous and tasty. Fun menu, lively atmosphere and fairly priced food made our visit a success!

Turkey Ruben. Next time I'll add bacon. It hit the spot!

Fresh off the plane we landed here for lunch. My friend and I split the turkey reuben with sweet potato fries. It REALLY hit the spot. Later another sever came around and asked how we liked it and she said it's newer on the menu and that she adds bacon. DUH, why didn't we think of that??!!, everything is better with bacon!!

I've come here several times, work in the area and one of my co workers comes here on the regular. He recommended it to me. The food here is amazing! The service is good, and the ambiance is chill.

I tried Pickled Onion again and enjoy their menu offerings. Really unique tasty spins on bar eats. Most recently I tried the Crack Fire. A blend of their crack dip ( buffalo chicken dip) spread on fresh whole Jalapeños wrapped in bacon. Those doing Keto, get it ! These were awesome. So tasty. My daughter had a meatball sub sandwich with onion rings. The meatballs on this sun were notorious B.I.G huge ! Really tasty and good price for the quality and portion. I'll come by for the drinks at the bar next time. My fitness instructor loves coming here but unfortunately it's located too close to our fitness studio. I'll have to quickly get in my car once out of my class to avoid packing on the weight eating here lol.

    The Club

Traveling through and looking for a place to stop for lunch where we could bring our dog. We were able to sit at one of the many outdoor tables, and they even brought our pup a bowl of water. We got The Club and fish tacos. You get to pick a side with the sandwiches and you can add garlic seasoning, cajun seasoning, or cheese & bacon. The ranch was also good. We felt like we got a good amount of food for our money. Great lunch stop!

Overall excellent! We had a Barbie somethin drink and it was delightfully sweet! I absolutely loved it, and they aren't shy with their pour ;) My chicken salad was very generous in size, I had enough to finish it off for lunch day 2 - I did no dressing, but had it on the side and it was a tasty addition My sweetheart had a burger (Texas somethin?) and they ACTUALLY cooked it rare for him- a rare occurrence! He said the flavor was great too Only complaints if I had to offer some feedback, the tortilla chips with the chicken crack were a little stale and the French fries didn't match the crispy well-seasoned ones on their website Would return for dinner again!

The fried pickles had the perfect pickle-to-breading ratio, and the potato skins were delicious with sour cream (loved the fresh green onion on these). My ribeye was flavorful and tender; even though I ordered it medium-rare and it came a touch past that, it was still delicious. If you're a local, this is a great spot for dinner and drinks. We got there at 5:30pm on a Friday and were seated immediately, but by 6pm there was a line out the door. Get there early!

The brisket quesadillo was packed with tender meat and flavor. My friend and I shared a small salad with gorgonzola cheese and one of the best balsamic vinegarette dressings I've had. The short rib gnocchi was tender and delicious and a large portion. Lastly, the Oscar the Grouch sushi roll had 9 pieces and hit the spot.
