As far as time of day in my opinion according to my schedule that time of day would be best time to go if u want easy going vibe without the hustle and bustle

Then they brought half our table's food about 20 minutes before the rest. The worst part was when the waiter was rude to my son. My son, who is 7 years old and has special needs, was getting out of the booth to let his cousin out so he could go to the bathroom and suddenly the waiter came up to drop off the second half of food. I'm not sure why the waiter didn't go to the other side of the table where everyone was sitting rather than the side where three people were getting up, but my son accidentally bumped into the waiter. The waiter rudely said "don't touch me!". I stood up to move my son away from him and then helped the waiter distribute the plates. The waiter said he could do it but that was seemingly not true because not only was he rude but he tried to give us plates of food we already had received 20 minutes earlier. I told him we already had those orders and he was very confused. Really a terrible experience.

Well, I came to Yelp and Frankie V's popped up. Crazy thing, we do our grocery shopping across the street from Frankie V's! So we had passed it many times. We were warmly greeted by the bartender Natalie. She was awesome! It was full at the bar, Sunday Night Football so totally understandable. We sat in the booth. The booth was comfy and cozy. It's a cool spot, total "Cheers" vibe. We had our mind on fish sandwiches but the unassuming owner, Martina came by and greeted us. Then she gave us the rundown on what was the best items. EVERYTHING here is homemade, made from scratch! Loved that! She sold us on the special, 8pc chicken (the whole chicken), fries and an XL 1-topping pizza for $39.00. Well we got it and boy that was THEE BEST fried chicken I have had in YEARS. I mean YEARS! Literally fresh and dripping hot juices everywhere! It was seasoned to perfection! So good! The pizza was INCREDIBLE! It was a great crust and the flavor was amazing! The fries were good! Home cut, I could tell! We delighted in our meal! We look forward to returning soon and trying the fish!

Got a maple old fashioned it had some sweetness but wasn't cloyingly sweet. Second drink was a bacon Manhattan. Made me think about 10 years ago when Bacon was really big. They call it hog hattan. Opened up with the chicken Caesar salad. The chicken on the salad was warm like it was in the oven. The pizza bread is nice touch. They also offer bell pepper as part of welcoming relish tray. Just made me think about ordering an Italian beef. The pork chops sounded tempting but ultimately ended up going with a NY strip for my entree. It was cooked how I like nice and rare. Double baked potatoes one of those steakhouse dishes when you see on the menu you just have to order. Closed it down with some cheesecake topped offed with some berries. I will say there could have been more seasoning on the steak like garlic, cumin, salt.

And yet I had the best chilaquiles, the best biscuits and gravy and the best breakfast taco of my life here all in the same sitting. Everything I had was an intentional and successful refinement of a North American classic. Best brunch ever. The owner was working. He's charming, interesting and very intentional about his cuisine. It shows in both the product and his discussion of it, which he offers freely. The other staff were also very attentive, wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful. The space is exactly what I'd expect given the food and people in it: charming, eclectic and comfortable. They also have regular live music. I haven't been back for that yet. Given how outstanding everything else I've experienced here was, I'm sure it will be top notch. Absolutely come here. You'll be back, too.

We came in and waited to be greeted by the hostess. Maybe 10 minutes passed and 2-3 other groups also came in before we saw the hostess and she had the sourest attitude I've seen that wasn't a snotty teenager arguing with their mom. The tables were so close together and booths tight that multiple groups had to adjust chairs or add chairs to a booth to be able to fit their group of 4 comfortably. Tables were left dirty & covered with dishes - two tables we're left uncleared for the entire 2+ hours we were there until the hostess with the horrific attitude cleared one glass at a time with a truly horrible look on her face. At one point when the hostess was walking back to the front from the kitchen, a young child (maybe 3-4) was politely walking to her table and the hostess said something to the effect of "get out of my way" - to a toddler, behaving perfectly reasonably and the hostess wasn't even carrying anything that might topple over. Our waitress was not much better than the hostess. While she was mostly pleasant, after 45 minutes we had to flag her down to ask where our appetizer was and she apologized before bringing it out 10 minutes or so later. It wasn't so busy that the kitchen was behind - I think she just forgot to put the order in or the kitchen forgot to fire it. We had placed our dinner order at the same time, and that came out shortly after the appetizer for 3 of the 4 of us. The 4th member of the party had to wait 10 minutes or so for her chicken wrap to come out. Flagging down our waitress for the check was also a challenge. She would disappear for long stretches of time. Service was truly appalling and we were there for over 2.5 hours for what we had expected would be a quick and delicious dinner. I won't go back.
