They just changed the rules and you do have to pay $1.00 per person to play bingo...but where else can you get that type of entertainment for a dollar. We can't wait to return.

Very indulgent especially after a heavy meal but it was quickly polished off. Overall, decent food with some gems. Definitely a lot of character to it, and unique for the area.

Good place to hang out to play pool and other games. They're known for having many kinds of whiskey and liquor. Amazingly this used to be a cigar bar. It's so crazy because there's now no smoking allowed inside. This happens to be one of the oldest bars in Oregon. For sure this goes way back. In the 1800s it was a place for men to come smoke. Also they played lots of pool. They even were able to get shaves. In 1933 it became the first bar in Lane County after prohibition to get a liquor license. They also survived the smoking ban by becoming a music venue. Of course the drinks are the best thing about it. They're known for the whiskeys. It's about $9 for Pendleton. That's one of the many to choose from, some good stuff. Cool interior with lots of antiques. There's the bar, and the area's oldest neon sign among other stuff. Good place to check out history. It's one of the oldest places in the city, and state. There's no food, but you can go to a few restaurants around here though.

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

By far, this is my favorite bar in all of Eugene. It opened little over a year ago while I was living only a few blocks away. I did laundry at the laundromat next door so I would go in at least twice a week and do my homework there. Since day one, the bartenders have been the nicest I have ever known. We have loved it here so much that when my partner graduated from the UO this last spring, we rented out the whole place for his graduation party. They had all of their staff working and they rarely took breaks between helping the 50+ people we brought in. The customer service goes above and beyond and the venue itself is so beautiful and much nicer than the hole in the wall it used to be. Now that we have moved a little further away, we are still drawn to the Pint Pot and we consider the bartenders friends. I highly recommend the soda bread. I am addicted. So grateful this business has blessed this town. read more

I was pretty much done with this place when I saw pro-IRA tshirt, but finding out they sell Black and Tans (Google who they were) ended any chance of me going here despite being Scottish. Beer selection is awful, staff are terrible, and the owner is a fascist. Avoid like the plague read more
