Good pizza joint in eastchester that keeps it simple and tasty and that works for me .The menu is endless from pizza with many different styles including the lasagna pizza which is new to me and also many apps , soups , salads, pasta dishes , traditional entrees , and many more options .my cuz wants some garlic knots and chicken roll but I am in the mood for chicken Parm with spaghetti with sharing not available on my part . We love their Italian salad but continuously disappointed they do not read the receipt for online orders. We ask for no onions and extra balsamic and time after time, we have onions on our salad and before leaving have to check, then ask for the paid for dressing. I stumbled upon The Pizza Shop and figured I'd get a slice since it's already past lunchtime. Got a slice of the spinach white pizza and I was not prepared to eat such an AWESOME SLICE! I was also not prepared for the $5.25 price since there's absolutely no meat on this slice lol. A bit steep for spinach guys. But overall, very impressed with the quality of my pizza slice today. I would give this place 3.5 stars if it were possible. The service was quick, in and out type of thing. We had ordered a large pepperoni pizza that came out to be $20+ and honestly I had thought that was a bit pricey for a one topping. But we had a pepperoni craving so we just went with TPS. I like the way the pepperonis were small and curled up. The slices were okay for a large pizza and the dough was chewy just like how I like it. But one thing that was just eh was that it was a bit on the saltier side, not sure if it was the pepperonis but it had made the pizza dripping with oil. Overall not a bad pizza place. Prices are a little high a buffalo chicken roll and 2 bottles of water was $12.00. When you walk in you don't know if it's a pizzeria or a sit down restaurant since they have a waitress. You can sit anyplace but feel awkward sitting where the waitress is if u order from the counter. In a town where every single block has a pizzeria, this place stands out as a solid regular slice and great speciality pizza. I wrote a one star because I went in for the 2nd time this year and this store has no mask policy. It seems that the owners (brothers?) have a complete disregard for CDC guidelines. Look, I get it, everyone is tired of the pandemic and the masks, but if you are handling money with not even a mask under your chin or any effort to respect customer, then you could be potentially putting people's lives at risk. It seems as when these owners (brothers?) don't have their masks on, then the entire staff doesn't have it on, when they put their mask on, then they put their masks on... monkey see monkey do. More than enough times, they don't have their masks on. Writing this review will probably bump up sales for people who are anti-maskers or whatever (every action as an equal and opposite reaction), but I wanted to write this for people who may be ordering food, who don't see what happens in the store. I am disappointed cause I really do like the pizza, they make a great product, but I won't be eating there again. We had a large pepperoni pie and a Cauliflower crusted pie with pepperoni, onions and green peppers. Both were very good but the Cauliflower pie was amazing, delicious, tasty . They have food choices for all types of people. I have allergies and they worked with me, so I ordered a Cauliflower Pizza and it was delicious! This place is relatively new here, replacing a decades-old pizzeria. My sense this is more of a franchise (or something) rather than a true neighborhood pizza place. My wife and I both ordered "out" entrees, and at home we both remarked at how salty they were (lasagna and eggplant parm). Nearly inedible towards the end, really surprising. They grab the slice of pizza and slop it around and throw them in the oven. From there they handle money, credit cards. Go back to helping customers and touch another slice and "dangle" it into the oven. That turned me off so bad. But it's the only one in the area. Use a tray or at least a cardboard box. I found out yesterday that I am too far away from the Pizza Shop for delivery. However, I had seen great reviews and wanted to try it for myself. I drove there to pick up my food and it was the best decision I've made in a long time! I am a white pizza fan, and their white personal pizza is plentiful and absolutely delicious. I also got a small crispy goat cheese salad...my only complaint is that I should have ordered the large one. I cannot say enough good things about that salad...balsamic, walnuts, cranberries...I just needed more! I will no longer be ordering pizza for delivery. The pizza is solid, but even better are have their garlic knot sandwiches. I had the chicken cutlet - it's basically an Italian-style (pan-)fried chicken slider and its delicious and amazing. When I first heard about it, I was skeptical, but let me assure you: the garlic knot is slightly larger and a lot less greasy than a traditional garlic knot. This gives it all the spirit of a garlic knot without compromising its functionality as a bun. The cutlet is crispy and well-seasoned. The whole thing is pretty ingenious. Westchester has no shortage of decent pizza, but it definitely lacks fast, creative snack-sized options. So while the pizza here is good (it certainly meets the high standard of the area), I'd actually consider the garlic knot sandwiches a valuable public service. read more
