So far best pizza I had in NY, still going to try more places but the sauce was so good. Bringing my wife and let's she what she says.

Let's start with the good: the garlic knots were really good and the pasta is yummy Now onto the many bads: We ordered two fettuccine Alfredo's and one came leaking. The bag itself ripped, even though we held it properly. My gender was also presumed, when we got the food, I someone who looks feminine, was about to take the bigger bag when I was told that the other person who came with me who looks masculine, should hold the heavier, one presuming that I was unable to. We were also told in a condescending tone to hold the back at the bottom otherwise it would leak and when the other guy said that one that the fettuccine Alfredo sauce spilled, it was our fault for not handling it properly even though we held it properly. When we went back in order to get the new serving of pasta, the owner made it for us, which was very nice. However, when we returned to eat all food, we noticed that both the new one and the original one which did not leak were both under sauced. read more

I think this place keeps getting better. I love going in for a sausage slice--always fresh, salty and with tangy sauce on top, beautiful crispy char on the bottom. Pizza Grill is our family's choice for pizza night and for parties. Delivery is always fast and efficient. Use the Slice app to order and not the other apps to save them a buck. Very good food. Liked the calzone, meat lovers pizza, cobb salad. That said, if you are delivering to a hotel, it would be nice if you had included a couple of plates and sets of utensils. For a calzone, a side of marinara would have been appreciated. Also, no receipt via the driver. read more

I didn't know someone could mess up chicken fingers and pizza but here we are. I paid $31.00 for a SMALL plain pizza and an order of chicken fingers. The pizza was cold and stale. The chicken fingers is where the story gets interesting. I opened the bag expecting a hefty order of chicken fingers after paying $9.00. After waiting 47 minutes I found what looked like one chicken tender sliced up into 6 small pieces. I tried to call and no one answered which is fine, I have been in the place and it looks like they need the sale. I've had three different pizzas at this spot; grandma, straight cheese, and a vegan pizza with all of the vegetables they have on top. This place is ridiculously good. It's all about the sauce here. The sauce is garlicky, but done in a finessed way, it has this delicious bay leaf flavor, and it punches you in the face with ripe, pasty tomatoes. The vegan pizza was loaded with toppings without making it difficult to eat. The crust is yummy and not too dense. I wish I could eat pizza every day from here. read more

The nondescript sauce (that's okay, I am not buying pizza for the sauce!) was covered--and I mean covered!-- with bacon, sausage slices, and pepperoni. The meats were topped with cheese. I ordered the chicken strips and arugula endive salad, and was, unfortunately, so disappointed. The $10 chicken strips were delivered cold and hard. It appeared as if one chicken strip had been cut into pathetic minuscule pieces for this order. Salad was wilted and sad looking. I called Seamless to request refund, and they contacted restaurant who then contacted me directly and they were so rude. Needless to say, the restaurant refused to make it right and I will not be ordering from them again. Found this gem along the Hudson as me and the wife were driving from Brooklyn to our weekend getaway destination. We just wanted comfort food and boy did PG deliver... Free garlic knots to die for to start and our eggplant parm and slice of veg pizza were amazing. Bread and crust had a light spongy, in-house taste that took me straight back to the old country. First 2 times we ordered it was good. Once Margarita and once plain. The third time we ordered Margarita again we got a disgusting looking plain pizza with 1/2 the sauce, twice the salt, and the normal overlayered plain cheese. This was not Margarita! I think the man who works there is just untrustworthy and lazy. Ordered delivery for dinner and they walked it to our apartment! In the rain! With a smile on their face! It's only about 1/4 mile but we felt so bad that we made them deliver when we could have easily drove to get it if we knew they were going to walk it to us! So bottom line EXCELLENT SERVICE! And very quick. The food was good, caesar salad was fresh, eggplant panini tasty with great bread. I ordered the meatball sub, it couldve used some more tomato sauce and the meatballs were just okay.
