The first thing that caught my eye was a novel Steak and Egg dish that included a six oz. Sirloin steak with "loaded hash brown potatoes," that's hash browns with a load of onions, bell peppers, and cheese. This was a delicious side complete with two eggs my style and choice of toast. There was even more but I passed on the bacon, it was just too much. My wife opted for the all veggie omelet (which of course she couldn't finish) with all it fixings which we took home. One of the highlights of our service was the young waiter, Owen, who had been added to the staff recently. He was anxiously trying to be so helpful it was a joy to be one his first "customers." He of course getting help from is fellow staffers especially Debbie our favorite. In addition I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fullly appointed bakery available to us as we checked out. We like the idea of Gail's Sunrise Specials which were half portions. My wife ordered the Pork Green Chili over eggs and potato. The pork green chili was more like flavored gravy. It is pasty and gelatenous. There is very little meat and green chili. The people are friendly and the space is clean but the food is just not good enough to bring us in very often.
