After another while, she said she was about ready to jump over the bar and get the drinks herself. The smoked whitefish appetizer had a minimal amount of crackers for the amount of pate on the plate. Also, we were not told that they were out of anything until one if the dishes was requested (no apology). One of our party had halibut and said it was really good. But she got no vegetable on her dish. My dish was supposed to have mushrooms but came with none. The pear salad got good comments. The rest said the food was just fine. No bread or crackers ahead of time. We were not asked if we wanted anymore drinks. We did get asked about dessert. We declined. Then when she returned she brought one check. She never asked how the bill should be split, so we had to wait for that. All in all, not the experience expected by those that had been there in the past (probably before covid) or for the price charged. Outside of the view, a very disappointing evening.

If you did a quick scan of Teddy's, you would maybe think it was a glorified bar. And you'd be dead wrong. Their food is incredible. My Dad and I each had their North Atlantic Salmon. My dad had his New Orleans Style, with the shrimp and cajun cream sauce on top, andI had mine Pan Grilled with the sun dried tomato pesto sauce. If you factor in every facet of the meal, it may have been the best Salmon dish I've ever had. Both versions were tremendous. Before I get started on the Salmon itself, your choice of side along with a vegetable came with the meal. I got the Potatoes Au Gratin with mine. And I would rank it (conservatively) as a Top 3 Potato Dish that I've had in the last 10 years. I go out to eat quite a bit. Have had a lot of potatoes. Written a lot of reviews. These Potatoes Au Gratin genuinely shocked me with how good they were. They were not complicated (I don't think they even have breadcrumbs) but the cheese flavor on them was just perfect. Like I ate my entire side in about 3 minutes. The only Potato dish I could say comes close to tastiness is Slo's Sweet Potato mash. Incredible side. Now this takes me to the Salmon. The Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Cream sauce is one of the 5 best sauces I've had in the last 10 years. Beyond tasty. I didn't really know if the "pesto" could be incorporated into the sauce heavily (tomato pesto is a pretty rare dish for restaurants to have, much less do well) . I was proven wrong. Sauce had a tremendous pesto flavor and managed to balance the cream and the other ingredients within the sauce perfectly. The only Tomato Pesto I've had that would even be comparable was at Tony's restaurant in Disney World 20 years ago, and I don't even think it's on the menu anymore. An absolutely must try sauce. And they give you tons of it Salmon was perfectly grilled,flaky, moist and had a great, mild flavor to it. You got a nice big piece of it as well. It, along with the sauce, made for one of the best meals I've had in some time. I had some bites of my Dad's Cajun Style and the fish was perfectly blackened while being accompanied by another great sauce. You can't go wrong with the salmon. Our sever Connie was incredible. Drinks were refilled constantly (despite there being a giant crowd at the restaurant) and she was extremely pleasant and informative (it was Connie who steered us towards the amazing Salmon) Absolute 10/10 spot. I know filets and this was not a filet. Both the salad and the filet were plopped on a plate. No presentation either. My friend got halibut. She said it was very dry. She mentioned it to the waiter who said halibut is a dry fish. My friend responded that she knew halibut and it normally was not this dry and tasteless and the waiter simply walked away. My other friend got lobster and it came slathered in hollandaise sauce. No drawn butter. Her meal also came with two small dollops of what were supposed to be crab cakes. All of us thought our meals were terrible. We were there two years ago and our meals were fantastic. The quality has gone way down. We will not return.
